“Caroline did a great job dropping in on our cat. She had good communication and made sure she had all of the information she needed. We would definitely book Caroline again.”

“Indigo was great with the cats! They warmed up to Indigo quickly and seemed comfortable. Indigo was communicated well, asked great questions, and took excellent care of our pets.”

“We booked Adriana to walk and play with Bailey, our Golden Retriever. We booked for two visits a day while our daughter was at work. Couldn’t have worked out any better. Bailey got his walk and playtime in twice a day and still got to stay in his home. Very happy with how it went. Adriana took good care of Bailey. We were notified twice each day and felt like he was being well taken care of. We would recommend Adriana very highly if you need someone to care for your dog!”

“Thank you Julian for looking after our sweet Murray!! Julian was excellent with our shy 5yr old tuxedo. He was fed twice a day and Julian was able to give him his eye drops. Julian was very communicative and sent in lots of pictures with each check-in. We knew Murray was in good hands- thank you so much Julian- we will definitiely use your services again!”

“Margaret did a FANTASTIC job with her daily visits for my two kittens while I was out of town over a holiday weekend. She followed my instructions perfectly, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and healthy while I was away! Margaret adapted very well when a very intense storm hit during that weekend, and her communication throughout the entire ordeal was very much appreciated. I cannot recommend hiring her enough!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for my friends & family my entire life, and I am looking to continue to care for any and all animals! I am very reliable and responsible. Whether you need assistance for pet care during a short vacation or you are looking for a consistent sitter/dog walker, I can help! Currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule. I am happy to work with you to meet your pet care needs! Open to traveling for overnights. I am located in the Nashua area and available for mid day walks/check ins as needed. I prefer to care for pets in their home as I know some pets get anxious without their people, and I want to ensure they are as comfortable as possible! I am open to caring for your pet in my own home, however if you have a more anxious pup, I’d love for them to see the space before sitting for an overnight just to be safe.
“We had a great experience! Jessica was very communicative and kept us updated throughout the visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She did an excellent job managing all three of our dogs—including our senior dog, who is very grumpy and selective about people. She took them all for a walk, made sure they had fresh water, and as requested, gave them a snack before she left. It was clear she was patient, attentive, and comfortable handling different personalities. We would absolutely book with her again!”

“Mikayla was a champ today. She got both of my dogs to go outside where one of them is nervous around new people. She followed instructions well and did a great job. Very good communicator and folk lots of pics. Thanks so much!!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently care for three cats and a dog of my own, so I’m no stranger to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and the occasional pet with a mind of its own. I also regularly care for my grandmother’s cats whenever she’s away, giving me experience looking after pets that aren’t my own. I know every pet has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one happy and comfortable. Whether your pet wants an adventure, a game of fetch, or just someone to relax with, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet has a great time. I work for USPS, but I keep my Rover calendar updated so you’ll always know when I’m available. On my days off and during my free time, I love spending time with animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra attention while you’re away, I’ll be there on time and make sure they receive the care, exercise, and affection they deserve. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any special routines. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Brooke met Luna and me in advance for her walk. I received a pic from Brooke and a happy dog once I got home. We definitely start using the service going forward. Brooke was great with her!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hudson
This was my first time using Rover and my cat,Aria, is very wary of new people so naturally I was nervous but Adriana was amazing from the start. She told me stories of other diabetic cats she has sat for that put me at ease. I told her it was okay if Aria didn’t get the insulin on this visit as she is a skittish cat who likes to hide under the bed, so I was super impressed when Adriana was able to give Aria her insulin shot on the morning visit. Adriana was also very communicative leading up to, during and even after the visits. I feel very confident leaving my cat in Adrianas care, and hope to be able to book her again in the future.

Stacie is amazing! She's very thorough and always sends us updates and pictures. She does things for us that we haven't even asked, like, bringing in our mail and trash barrel...and watered our plans for us! We have used her multiple times and will continue to do so, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible pet sitter!
Thank you Julian for looking after our sweet Murray!! Julian was excellent with our shy 5yr old tuxedo. He was fed twice a day and Julian was able to give him his eye drops. Julian was very communicative and sent in lots of pictures with each check-in. We knew Murray was in good hands- thank you so much Julian- we will definitiely use your services again!

Our meet n greet went so incredibly well that we knew we wouldn't have to worry about our pup while away. Chuck was responsive to her, her barking, and her old age needs. He went above and beyond by cleaning up her indoor messes and changing out her pee pad area. He was not dissuaded by her needs to talk... A lot! She takes a lot of meds so we got pictures and great descriptions of the visits. Will absolutely reach out to Chuck again if we need to.

Hannah was so amazing with our kitties, and went above and beyond! She kept everything nice and tidy while we were away, and even saved our puzzle that partially fell off the side table, thanks to our orange kitten! We also loved the daily report she left and the photos sent too. A++!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
