Jeanne was amazing. I had to book last minute and she was there for us. She took great care of our 3 dogs, was personable and all 3 liked her right away. Having her made vacation much less stressful I knew dogs were in good hands. I would definitely use her again and recommend to others.

Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! We truly couldn’t ask for better care for our girls. 10/10!

About: We are a family of four! We have my kids 50 percent of the time- they are 9 and 7! We have a fenced in yard that the animals can run in! I work from home so I’m home majority of the day- I leave for some meetings randomly but not for too long. We are members at a great dog park in NH that we take our dogs to often especially with nicer weather! We have two dogs- A 3 year old Bernadoodle and a 2 year old long haired chihuahua. Both very friendly with other animals! We also have a 10 month Mancoon Cat who loves playing with the dogs and acts like a dog herself! We have been caring for animals for a long time and we welcome all types of animals into our loving family! We give our dogs a lot of attention and we will do the same with yours! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I will be home majority of the time and will be able to give a lot of attention and love! I have a full fenced in yard! I have a screened in porch also that provides some outside time when not in the yard! It’s a very safe area!

About: I am pet CPR and first aid certified through PetTech. I worked at a dog boarding facility for a year and a half. I have expirience with senior dogs, sports dogs, puppies as young as 8 weeks, dogs with disabilities and more. Available all day early mornings, no later than 8pm. About: Looking for someone to care for your pets as well as you do? I have 15 years of experience caring for animals ranging all different sizes, ages, and health needs. I’ve had animals my whole life from dogs, cats, horses, and exotic birds. I am the designated care giver for my friends’ and family’s pets and wanted to give Rover a try to put those skills to more use. I currently have two cats of my own and will not be accepting to board animals in my home at this time, but am more than happy to care for your furry or feathered friends in their current space and make sure they’re exercised, fed, and not missing you too much while you’re away! My rates are all negotiable, please connect with me directly for pricing questions. I look forward to befriending and caring for your pets and keeping them safe for your return home whether it be from a vacation or just from work. I currently work remotely part time during the week and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to drive and visit your pets to care for them. Drop in visits typically take about 15-20 minutes, walking or exercising can be 1-2 hours, and sitting can be booked for multiple days. Since I will be only caring for pets in their own homes, my care is fully personalized and customizable to meet your specific needs and requirements. I am comfortable giving medication to pets and am experienced with reactive and emotionally triggered animals.

About: I’ve always loved all animals! I’m currently in school so I’m not allowed to have a dog or a cat. I have an elderly dog back home that I dog sit often for my parents who are finally empty nesters. I currently have a Hamster and a few Mice that I take care of regularly. I change their cage’s once a week, feed them fresh fruit and vegetables, and play with them for a couple hours daily. When it comes to larger animals like dogs I love to play with them outside and take them on walks, just get all their energy out before dinner and a cuddle!

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
