John is awesome— he’s got a very chill energy that is a perfect fit for my two dogs. I have one highly reactive dog and John has been very calm and capable with him. He communicates fast and clearly and he’s always on time. Highly recommend him!

I really liked Jessica, my dog walker and “mama” to sarge for 3 weeks! She was extremely reliable and loved sarge as I do. I couldn’t have gotten a better person to walk and take care of my dog while I was away. She sent pictures and and texts every day she was there with him. I would definitely ask her to take care of him again on my next vacation and will recommend Jessica to my family and friends

About: Lifelong animal lover with years of experience, caring for a senior dog on weekends and weekdays as needed. As a pet owner to both a bunny and a cat, I understand the importance of reliable, compassionate care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and am committed to providing a safe, fun, and positive experience for your furry family members. 🐾 Because I work part-time, my schedule changes weekly, but I’m usually available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I also have some weekends free, depending on my work schedule. I’m very flexible and always willing to work with pet parents to find a schedule that works best. Whenever I have availability, I’m happy to help with last-minute pet care requests! Since I am unable to host pets in my own home, I provide care in your pet’s familiar environment. I understand that trust is important when inviting someone into your home, and I always treat both your home and pets with respect and care. I follow instructions closely and do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special requests. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

She was so good with our puppies! Mazie is really anxious and unsure with new people so Ava was very patient with her and now Mazie is so excited to see her. Having her to walk the girls and give them cuddles was such a huge help while I was at work!

Lea was wonderful. Our 2 labs are 5 and 6 yo and this was the very first time we used someone outside of our inner circle. Lea made ua feel comfortable and confident in their care. We reached out last minute On a Monday for a Thurs/Fri booking and she was able to fit us in. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. Growing up with dogs taught me how to be patient, attentive, and comfortable with pets of different personalities and energy levels. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away, and I treat every dog like family I’m currently a recent college graduate with a part-time internship, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet sitting and dog walking. I’m available throughout the week and enjoy spending my free time caring for dogs and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a loving, calm, and clean environment where pets can feel at home while you’re away. I have a Goldendoodle of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs and understanding their needs, routines, and personalities. I love giving dogs attention, playtime, and plenty of affection to help them feel happy and relaxed.

Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! We truly couldn’t ask for better care for our girls. 10/10!

About: I’ve cared for a variety of animals through both personal ownership and pet-sitting for friends and family. My experience includes dogs, cats, guinea pigs, lizards, and chinchillas. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, cleaning habitats/litter, playtime, walks, and giving pets patient, attentive care. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, and I work to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I work a consistent weekday schedule from 7–5, which allows me to plan pet care reliably into my routine. I am able to drop-in during my work day during house sits to address any mid-day needs, in addition to being available for early morning, evening, and weekend care. I care for pets by keeping their routines consistent and stress-free. Whether I’m doing drop-ins, walks, or house sitting, I make sure pets are fed, exercised, cleaned up after, and given plenty of attention and care. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, and I always keep owners updated while they’re away.

About: I have worked at Dewey and Friends Pet Resort for the past two years as a kennel technician and was recently promoted to Team Lead. In this role, I have gained extensive experience caring for both daycare and boarding dogs, while also building strong relationships with pet owners. I am currently a junior in college on the pre-veterinary track, where I am pursuing my long-term goal of becoming a veterinarian. I am deeply passionate about animal care and enjoy continuing to learn as much as I can about animal health and behavior. I would love the opportunity to care for your dog and treat them with the same attention, patience, and affection that I would give to my own pets. I currently work full-time at Dewey and Friends Pet Resort, where I care for dogs during daycare and boarding. My schedule is primarily evenings and weekends, which leaves my mornings available Monday through Friday for dog walks and drop-in visits. I have a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd who is highly reactive, so I have extensive experience working with dogs that require extra patience, structure, and understanding. This has taught me how important it is to pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and comfort level. In my current role at Dewey and Friends Pet Resort, I regularly administer medications, crate dogs when needed, provide leash walks, supervise social interactions, and care for multiple dogs at once. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, routine, and positive interactions to ensure your dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

About: My name is Natasha, and I am very passionate about caring for animals - I even worked for a rescue for many years! Part of why I love caring for animals with Rover is because I get to know and love so many new furry friends. I promise to treat your pets like my own, and give them love and care while you are away! I'm located in Amherst, on the border of Merrimack, and while I cannot offer boarding at this time as I have two young kids and a pup who has only been with us about 6 months and wouldn't do well yet with other pets in the home, I still would love to get the opportunity to spoil other animals in my area with love. I will treat your pets with respect and affection, and I am always happiest when I have a furry friend by my side. Please reach out with any questions, I look forward to meeting you and your four legged family members! I currently work full time remote, so I am home during the day every day and am able to keep good attention to my pup and any pups we watch. We treat every pup we watch as though they are our own. We absolutely love dogs, and will go out of our way to provide the best care possible.

Rachel was very communicative and kind. She took videos and pictures during our dog’s walk, which my wife greatly appreciates. She also filled in fairly short notice when our regular walker needed to tend to personal matters, so we are very grateful to her!

About: I’m not just a sitter, I’m a full-time pet parent. My husband and I have two rescue dogs that we’ve raised and cared for over the past 6 years, starting from puppyhood. We’ve gone through training, learned how to handle different behaviors and built a home that revolves around happy, well cared for pets, including two rescue cats. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack, whether that means sticking to their routine, giving them extra patience, or making sure they get plenty of love and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work in real estate, which gives me a flexible schedule and as a mom of two (less furry babies), I’m already used to planning my day around care, consistency and routines. That means I’m able to prioritize walks, drop ins, and check ins throughout the day. I’m often out and about locally, so it’s easy for me to incorporate visits and give pets the attention they need at consistent times. I always follow each pet owner’s lead when it comes to care. Every pet has their own routine, preferences and personality, so I take the time to listen carefully and stick as closely as possible to what they’re used to. In my home, pets are welcomed into a loving environment. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood, which is great for safe, low-traffic walks and a more relaxed setting. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings.
