About: I’ve been a dog walker for 2 years. Each dog gets all the lovings and attention from me every time! I do drop in visits to feed a meal and just let them out, or I’ll take them on 15-30 minutes walks (weather/temp dependent). Dog walking is my current job, I’m just looking to fill my schedule a little more. I typically start around 10am and the last dog gets walked around 3pm so anywhere in that time frame works for me! I have worked with dog aggressive dogs by using an E-collar so I’m knowledgeable on how to use those correctly. I am comfortable putting dogs into their crate if needed as well.

Connie has been truly terrific with our puppy Frank, who is a handful to say the least. She communicated clearly and effectively with each visit, made recommendations to consider for his care, and went above and beyond during her visits. We’re grateful to have had her support, and wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again should we need more visits or walks!

I really liked Jessica, my dog walker and “mama” to sarge for 3 weeks! She was extremely reliable and loved sarge as I do. I couldn’t have gotten a better person to walk and take care of my dog while I was away. She sent pictures and and texts every day she was there with him. I would definitely ask her to take care of him again on my next vacation and will recommend Jessica to my family and friends

Lea was wonderful. Our 2 labs are 5 and 6 yo and this was the very first time we used someone outside of our inner circle. Lea made ua feel comfortable and confident in their care. We reached out last minute On a Monday for a Thurs/Fri booking and she was able to fit us in. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs.

About: I gained hands-on experience caring for animals in a busy pet store, learning to read behavior and handle different temperaments. I’m reliable, attentive, and comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ensuring they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time for pup play. Meetings work best in the early afternoon for me. I’ve grown up with three dogs and a cat my entire life; always taking them on walks and playing around. I’ve also have helped others who have pups with special conditions at my job.

I was in immediate need of a responsible dog walker that we could count on to take our Alaskan Malamute named Abby for a 30 to 45 minute walk/exercise since I was out of the country for vacation with my son while my husband was busy at work. Abby is a puppy and was experiencing extreme anxiety being alone. Kathryn was/is the perfect person for the job! Kathryn was always on-time and very respectful how she treated Abby. Abby was always happy to walk with Kathryn and took care of her as if she was part of the family. I would HIGHLY recommend and hire Kathryn if you are in need of a dog walker with experience to give a little bit of love and care to your pet! We will definitely rehire Kathryn when the occasion presents itself again!

About: I have never had my own dog, but my family had/has a pitiful who is 12 years old and she made me fall in love with dogs. I was responsible for watching her and my parents two cats while they were on vacations or away. I would even be able to just stop by to take them out and feed them. I have a good sense of different needs for different dog/cat breeds and knowledge of nutrition needs as well. I’m very vigilant and I love to walk so I’m hoping to meet some dogs who love walking just as much. I also love to bathe and brush animals to get them all prettied up. I’m hoping this will be a good stepping stone to furthering my experience. I also have three of my own cats, Wamu, Chamkila and Eado who I love very much and are very spoiled. For me this would help me with getting out of the house, exercising and learning more about different dogs/cats along the way. It’ll help me towards me goals for working with animals. My schedule is pretty open. I am very vigilant with animals they can be hyper and excitable, I may high attention to detail and make sure to always check over pets for ticks and any other issues after walking. I usually carry pumpkin dog treats, freeze dried and easy on most stomachs. Im familiar with dogs who pull and know how to handle them and not get dragged.

About: I have pet-sat multiple animals including many cats, rabbits, and dogs. I took care of these pets ranging from a few days to a month-long period of time. I cared for, washed, fed, and spent time with these animals as well as took care of their waste. As well as animal care, I have also house-sat during many of these experiences. I have weekends off and are typically fully available to spend most of the day/night with pets. I work Monday through Friday but always make time for my cat after work. I often stay as long as I can when petsitting at a clients home. Pets can get anxious when owners are gone, and I make sure to spend as much quality time I can with the pets.

About: I’m not just a sitter, I’m a full-time pet parent. My husband and I have two rescue dogs that we’ve raised and cared for over the past 6 years, starting from puppyhood. We’ve gone through training, learned how to handle different behaviors and built a home that revolves around happy, well cared for pets, including two rescue cats. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack, whether that means sticking to their routine, giving them extra patience, or making sure they get plenty of love and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work in real estate, which gives me a flexible schedule and as a mom of two (less furry babies), I’m already used to planning my day around care, consistency and routines. That means I’m able to prioritize walks, drop ins, and check ins throughout the day. I’m often out and about locally, so it’s easy for me to incorporate visits and give pets the attention they need at consistent times. I always follow each pet owner’s lead when it comes to care. Every pet has their own routine, preferences and personality, so I take the time to listen carefully and stick as closely as possible to what they’re used to. In my home, pets are welcomed into a loving environment. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood, which is great for safe, low-traffic walks and a more relaxed setting. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar surroundings.

About: I was an emergency Certified Vet Tech for 6 years and unfortunately had to leave my career due to family matters. I’m still very passionate about animal care and would love more time with animals! I can take care of cats, dogs and exotics if you have them. I'm medically experienced so you'll never have to worry. I will make an effort to get to know your animals and make them feel comfortable around me. I can administrator medications and manage old or young friends. I'm honest, trustworthy and would love to be there for you and your pet! I appreciate clear and honest communication and direction. I have 5 pets so it’s a huge part of my life. One of my pups is going through chemo for his lymphoma right now, so I’m doing additional medical care at home too. I care for my pets 24/7. I let my pups out in the backyard first thing in the morning. Check on my kitties litters boxes. Check the pets water bowls. One of my kitties gets meds twice a day. They get treats and food throughout the day. My pets get vitamins too. I play with the ones who enjoy playing and if it’s nice outside, 2 of my pups enjoy staying outside. There’s a lot more I do and it’s a ton of work, but I love them all and work hard to make them happy, healthy and safe!

About: Hi! I’m Caitlin, and I’d love to care for your furry family member while you’re away. As a lifelong animal lover and dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and loved when you can’t be with them. I provide a calm, comfortable home where your pet will be treated like one of the family—not just another booking. I own my own home, giving your pet plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m happy to tailor their stay to what makes them happiest. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. My mom is a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and through that experience I’ve been certified as a puppy sitter for the program. Caring for future guide dogs has given me valuable experience working with dogs of different personalities while reinforcing positive behaviors, maintaining routines, and providing patient, attentive care. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ll keep you updated throughout their stay with plenty of photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and quality one-on-one attention easily fit into my day. Weekends are often spent outside, making them perfect for extra exercise and enrichment. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, not just a job. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I own my own home, providing a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and preferences so I can provide consistent care. My experience as a certified puppy sitter for Guiding Eyes for the Blind has taught me the importance of patience, supervision, positive reinforcement, and maintaining routines. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
