“Kathryn is awesome. She walks my dog on weekdays regularly. My dog has an intestinal condition that needs to be monitored. Kathryn monitors my dog well and goes the extra mile to help me when my dog gets sick. She us very responsible, trustworthy and dedicated to animals. I highly recommend her anytime.”

“I really liked Jessica, my dog walker and “mama” to sarge for 3 weeks! She was extremely reliable and loved sarge as I do. I couldn’t have gotten a better person to walk and take care of my dog while I was away. She sent pictures and and texts every day she was there with him. I would definitely ask her to take care of him again on my next vacation and will recommend Jessica to my family and friends”

“Nathan’s communication is top notch and his love of dogs is immediately evident. I was nervous about letting someone into my home to care for my dog when I had to return to the office full time, but I am very comfortable with Nathan. I highly recommend.”

“Lea was wonderful. Our 2 labs are 5 and 6 yo and this was the very first time we used someone outside of our inner circle. Lea made ua feel comfortable and confident in their care. We reached out last minute On a Monday for a Thurs/Fri booking and she was able to fit us in. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs.”

“Katie has been excellent in the first few weeks I have been working with her. She was incredibly patient getting to know my dog, who is a bit anxious, and has been flexible and accommodating as we work out a schedule that suits us both (and the pup)!”

My responsibilities have included feeding, administering fresh water, grooming, bathing, walking, and ensuring regular exercise. I am attentive to behavioral cues, experienced in basic training reinforcement, and comfortable managing multiple dogs at once. I also maintain clean, safe environments and follow owner instructions closely, including dietary or medical needs. My approach emphasizes patience, positive reinforcement, and creating a calm, trusting relationship with every dog in my care. I am recently retired from work in law enforcement so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets. I’m very flexible and available most days. I can do drop-ins, walks, or overnight pet sitting. Just send me a message and I’ll make it work. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to maintain the pet’s routine. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, walks, litter or yard cleanup, playtime, and any required medications. I ensure the home stays tidy and secure by locking doors, turning off lights, and following household rules. I keep clients updated with messages, photos, and notes so they feel confident their pets are comfortable. My goal is to keep the pet’s environment familiar and stress-free while providing reliable, attentive care.
About: I was an emergency Certified Vet Tech for 6 years and unfortunately had to leave my career due to family matters. I’m still very passionate about animal care and would love more time with animals! I can take care of cats, dogs and exotics if you have them. I'm medically experienced so you'll never have to worry. I will make an effort to get to know your animals and make them feel comfortable around me. I can administrator medications and manage old or young friends. I'm honest, trustworthy and would love to be there for you and your pet! I appreciate clear and honest communication and direction. I have 5 pets so it’s a huge part of my life. One of my pups is going through chemo for his lymphoma right now, so I’m doing additional medical care at home too. I care for my pets 24/7. I let my pups out in the backyard first thing in the morning. Check on my kitties litters boxes. Check the pets water bowls. One of my kitties gets meds twice a day. They get treats and food throughout the day. My pets get vitamins too. I play with the ones who enjoy playing and if it’s nice outside, 2 of my pups enjoy staying outside. There’s a lot more I do and it’s a ton of work, but I love them all and work hard to make them happy, healthy and safe!

About: My name is Natasha, and I am very passionate about caring for animals - I even worked for a rescue for many years! Part of why I love caring for animals with Rover is because I get to know and love so many new furry friends. I promise to treat your pets like my own, and give them love and care while you are away! I'm located in Amherst, on the border of Merrimack, and while I cannot offer boarding at this time as I have two young kids and a pup who has only been with us about 6 months and wouldn't do well yet with other pets in the home, I still would love to get the opportunity to spoil other animals in my area with love. I will treat your pets with respect and affection, and I am always happiest when I have a furry friend by my side. Please reach out with any questions, I look forward to meeting you and your four legged family members! I currently work full time remote, so I am home during the day every day and am able to keep good attention to my pup and any pups we watch. We treat every pup we watch as though they are our own. We absolutely love dogs, and will go out of our way to provide the best care possible.
“This is our second time booking with Kathryn and she's amazing per usual! We booked for two walks today and she was great from start to finish. And again helped us bring our bin in without us even asking. We and the pups love Kathryn so much and would definitely use her service again.”

About: I have two cats of my own. A 10 y/o sweetest little girl Tabby and a 5 y/o Maine coone. I have experience with administering inhaler, pills, liquid medicine, and syringe feeding due to my girl cat having multitude of health issues. I am also expert in giving cats bath & nail trimming. I genuinely love animals to my core, which is why in my free time, I rescue cats & volunteer in shelters I work fully remote so can be available anytime and with short notice. I also drive so getting to places will not be a problem at all. As a pet owner myself, I understand the stresses and worries that comes with when people are away from their pets. To earn trust, during the first interaction I like to sit on the floor and let the pet come to me. They can sniff me, cuddle up on my lap or just stare at me if they want. By sitting on the floor, I get to their eye level which makes me less intimidating as a new object in their environment. After I gain the pet’s trust, I make sure to send pics and videos during each visit. I also have no issues if the owners want to set up camera to monitor my activities and interactions with their pets.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my whole life and have always gravitated toward their unconditional love. My very first job was at a dog boarding facility, where I spent most of my shifts scooping poop, glamorous, I know. But it taught me the value of hard work and showed me that animals are far too good for this world. From the family pets I adored as a kid to the three that let me live in our home now (two cats and one very sassy dog), plus hands-on experience with wildlife thanks to my good friend, I’ve learned patience, empathy, and how to appreciate every animal’s unique personality. Caring for animals has never been “just a job” for me, it’s been a constant part of my life for 15+ years, and I treat every pet like they’re one of my own! Caring for my pets is a natural part of my daily life, as simple and essential as breathing. Their routines and happiness become part of mine and I make sure they are fed, loved, and entertained while giving attention and companionship throughout the day. This will be no different for your pet(s). Every pet I care for is treated like family because their joy and comfort are as important to me as my own. Your pet will get their meal(s), outside potty breaks or litter box cleaned, playtime, cuddles, and their . For drop-in visits longer than 30 minutes I can include a light brushing for your fur baby!

“Callie is amazing! She is dependable and communicates effectively. I really can’t explain how much I appreciate her! I look forward to the pictures of Kola from her walks! Thank you Callie so much!”

“Connie has been truly terrific with our puppy Frank, who is a handful to say the least. She communicated clearly and effectively with each visit, made recommendations to consider for his care, and went above and beyond during her visits. We’re grateful to have had her support, and wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again should we need more visits or walks!”
