About: Hello! My name is Katherine and my experience with animals has ranged from volunteering to in home sitting. I am so excited to offer my services and meet your furry friends. Not only do I love meeting new breeds, but I care about their health and wellbeing. My weekly visits to my local animal shelter gives me a chance to showcase my passion for helping dogs who lost their homes. My volunteer experience includes walking, feeding, and caring for various breeds of all sizes! These visits have made me familiar with a dog’s body language that may signal how they are feeling. We meet many new dogs each week that are new to this environment and may be very nervous and timid. This also has given me a chance to learn how I can gain a dog’s trust with friendly mannerisms. I can’t wait to get started on Rover and meet your furry little friends! I have recently graduated with a bachelors degree from college and am looking for opportunities to spend time with animals. Currently, I have a part-time job and have lots of time to care for and visit any animals needing company throughout the week. My dog at home gets daily walks and has a runner in my backyard for when she needs to go outside. I often give her treats when she is being a good girl and notice if she needs to use the bathroom outside. At my local shelter, I am able to feed large and small dogs and leash dogs who are unfamiliar with me. I tend to make sure my posture and manners are friendly with all the pups! I also make sure to notice when a dog needs praising and do not ignore their good behavior!

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a child, and for the past 7 years, I’ve been independently caring for them. From big to small breeds, I’ve handled a variety of dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve provided drop-ins for bathroom breaks, feeding (including dogs with allergies or specific requirements), and I’m always excited to take dogs for walks and hikes. I’m experienced with both skittish pups and energetic jumpers—jumping doesn’t bother me, and I know how to manage it safely. I’ve also cared for dogs with basic health needs like administering pills or shots. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I truly miss the companionship and bond that comes with spending time with a furry friend. I currently work 5 days in office. While I may not be able to stop in during the day, I have availability before and after work. I work between the hours of 8am-5pm, but I can be flexible based on your and your puppy’s need! I believe in the importance of meeting both the family and the dogs prior to sitting. This helps establish trust and ensures a smooth transition for both the pet and the family. I understand that it can be stressful for a dog to have a stranger in their home, so I like to take the time beforehand and allow the dog to become familiar with me.

About: Owned and taken care of dogs and cats since I was young. Can’t remember a time without having pets! Currently own two crazy pups and two pretty kitties, and can’t wait to meet yours. Have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and everything in between. I am a full time firefighter/EMT, so I only work two 24hr shifts a week, and the rest of the time I get to play with yours, and my own animals! Love to hike or be outdoors with as many pets as possible! If they’re happy, I’m happy! I will follow all rules set for your pet, and be sure to keep their safety at the top of the list! About: I've been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, and these days I'm often the person friends and family call when they need someone to look after their pets. I've spent plenty of time walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they're well cared for while their owners are away. I've even trained my own cats to do tricks and respond to commands using positive reinforcement. About: I have had pets since I was 3 years old. I really started to get involved with pet care when I was a preteen. I have done pet sitting with my friends as well. I am going to college to study veterinary technology and am looking to get more hands on experience with dogs and cats! :) ⚠️PLEASE READ BEFORE REQUESTING⚠️:I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to watch your pets during the week. However, I may have to leave a few hours a day to go to work! I am able to stay overnight any time. I have a fenced in back yard and I can crate the dogs if needed. I have leashes and harnesses in my home. Everything in my home is pet proofed.

About: I have 3 dogs of my own. Each of them are rescues and are very different breeds. Learning all their personalities was a challenge but love to see them all thrive and love each-other and get along super well. I am a a stay at home mom of a 2 year old boy and some days he would need to come with me on our walks . He loves our dogs soo much and has been such a great help with them! Our days are very open and would love to help care for your pets ! If a pet is not child friendly I can do my best to make accommodations to ensure the pets best interests. I worked as a doggy daycare attendant and a veterinary assistant, as well as shelter experience. I'm available for drop in visits and dog walking.
