Angelina went above and beyond every single day, sending me regular updates, photos, and little notes that made me smile and reassured us that everything was going smoothly. Coming home, I could tell my dog had been not only well taken care of but genuinely loved. It’s such a relief to have someone I can trust. Thank you, Angelina!

Becky and Bob were wonderful with Hunter. The pictures I got showed a happy dog. The stay was only overnight to see how hunter would do with a next stay if a week. I feel comfortable leaving him with them Thanks so much Becky and bob

I've never had to board my dogs before and was very nervous. Rachael answered my many questions, explained everything I needed to know. Her family is wonderful with my dogs and I finally feel I've found someone caring and trustworthy. I will definitely rebook in the future!

I recommend her; she's very communicative and loving, and that's how she was with Tonka. She kept me updated throughout his stay, letting me know how Tonka was doing and sharing photos. I always knew how he was doing, and she always answered my messages.

About: I've grown up with pets and am comfortable walking and snuggling them. I'm also comfortable cleaning up after them and providing meds when necessary! I currently work as an elementary school teacher who gets home around 3:30. Typically I do short walks in the morning, then give a long walk when I get home, play time, dinner time, snuggle time and then an evening bathroom trip before bed! I am open to having smaller dogs stay with me. My condo has lots of great walking trails and is very safe and pet friendly. However, in the past I've typically done housesitting with the pet sitting. I am pretty tech savvy so I think I can manage all the appliances in a household, and would be sure to respect any house rules you have! :)

Vanessa was great! She treated my girls like they were her own, which is exactly what I was looking for in a sitter. She kept me updated on how they were doing with plenty of pictures. My girls were treated to many walks, plenty of play time, and cuddles. I’m so relieved to have found Vanessa!

About: I've had numerous variety of pets my whole life, Worked in pet retail for a time, and genuinely feel I understand animals more than people sometimes. Currently I'm between more traditional 9-5 employment, so I have the time and space to give the care needed for the little (or big) ones. I am open to discussing the individual needs of every client, but the basics of walking, feeding, just plain old attention are well within my capacity. Happy to help facilitate any training that is being done as well.

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

Laura took excellent care of our dog while we were away and on last minutes notice. She got in touch with me when she had a question on the first day which I really appreciated. She was so attentive to our dog’s needs and her calm, clean home was the perfect place for him to enjoy while we were gone. It felt like he got a mini getaway too which was a win-win!

Brookline pet parents share their Rover experiences

Alberta was the best match for "Lucky", my very personable and sweet 15- year old Golden Doodle. Before accepting Lucky for a Sunday-to-Sunday December stay, Alberta asked all the right questions from his daily routine to how best to administer his prescription meds. Alberta also required a current veterinarian record as proof that Lucky was up to date on all his shots and also so she could keep an eye on his health. Aside from a very professional, proficient, and friendly onboarding the real magic happened when Alberta cheerfully greeted Lucky and she knew to give him time and space to acclimate to his new B&B and her own three doggies - a greyhound, a lab and a golden mix. Every morning I received a cutie pie photo of my fur baby in a different scenario which showed me just how well he was doing! Snoozing on his bed, hanging with her other dogs in the fenced in yard, or begging for a treat. Normally when I pick up my boy from other sitters he looks a bit frazzled-as if to say- what was that all about!? LOL But after his stay with Alberta and family Lucky came trotting out, happy to see me and and freshly brushed too. I could see in his eyes that he was well-rested and happy. WOW! Thanks Alberta for all the TLC!
