“Kate was absolutely outstanding taking care of Dell! I could not have been more pleased with the care and love she gave our sweet Dell. I will definitely call on her again when we have to travel. On a scale of one to five, I give her a 10!! it was so nice to be able to go away and relax about how Dell was being taken care of.”

“Very knowledgeable and easy going. I had previously left my fella at a local dog hotel and I could tell the difference in mood on my guy when I picked him up from Donnie. My pup was as cool as a cucumber, Great job!!!”

“I am so thrilled to have found Judy!! I've had Shilo stay with Judy and her husband a few times now and I couldn't be happier. Shilo loves to run and the large fenced in backyard is perfect. Judy's dog, Rosie is sweet and welcoming. The updates and photos are great and relieves any worry or stress that I may have had!!! When it comes time for pick up, although Shilo appears to be happy to see me she also seems quite content to stay with judy....which is a really good sign!!”

“Yadi was amazing! She took my pup with very short notice after my primary sitter cancelled. She was welcoming, informed, and genuinely interested in caring for my baby while away. We’ll definitely be using her services in the future.”

“Yingying and her family took such wonderful and thoughtful care of Max! He was a spoiled and happy boy while staying with them. Highly recommend and would happily rebook in the future.”

“Charlene took wonderful care of our 8 year old black lab and 8 month old golden retriever puppy. She was always responsive to email and texts and sent us photos every day of our pups while we were on vacation, which we very much appreciated. This was our first time using rover, and Charlene made it a wonderful experience - she will be our first choice for pet sitting whenever we travel!”

“Robert did a great job with our Minnie we were very happy, we also were able to add 2 more days to beginning of stay with no problem, he was very accommodating, thank you Robert.”

“Thank you Emily for making Sherlock feel at home!!! Sherlock was welcomed as part of their own family. Emily and all her family members made it very easy for him! He had a very comfortable stay! ❤️”

“We had a wonderful experience! Our girl , Anne, was treated like family and she had a blast with Rachael’s dog , Kevin! I personally love receiving update and pictures ! We will definitely be sending Anne over for boarding again when we are traveling.”

“Angelina went above and beyond every single day, sending me regular updates, photos, and little notes that made me smile and reassured us that everything was going smoothly. Coming home, I could tell my dog had been not only well taken care of but genuinely loved. It’s such a relief to have someone I can trust. Thank you, Angelina!”

“Alberta is great; she has nice, spacious pens and always takes very good care of our buns, even though some are "high maintenance." She always sends updates and photos during the stay. Five star service!”
About: I specialize in dogs who need real exercise — not just a slow neighborhood loop. If your dog is high‑energy, athletic, or a working breed, I offer fast‑paced walks, joring sessions, and trail adventures designed to burn energy and build confidence. I grew up with a Husky/Malamute mix and have lived with high‑drive dogs ever since. My partner and I have fostered around 35 dogs, and I’ve cared for hundreds more through walking, boarding, and sitting. I’ve worked with every personality you can imagine — anxious, reactive, social, senior, and everything in between. My approach is structured, safe, and tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether your pup needs a power walk, mental stimulation, or a full adventure outing, I make sure they get the right balance of exercise and calm. My schedule is wide open, and I’ve made dog walking and adventure‑based exercise my primary focus. This means I’m available for consistent routines, last‑minute bookings, and dogs who need regular high‑energy outings. I’ve worked with dogs across every temperament - from wind‑shy pups to strict no‑contact dogs to social butterflies. I adjust my handling style to match each dog’s comfort level and safety needs. Clear routines, calm structure, and individualized care guide every decision I make. Your dog’s safety and emotional well‑being always come first
“This was our first experience using Rover and we struck gold with Vanessa. She was communicative and kept us updated on our pups while we were away. Our dogs can be a handful as one is VERY high energy, but she clearly knew what she was doing and they came home happy and healthy. I would highly recommend her to watch your pups!”

“Samantha and her family did a great job taking care of Louie overnight. He enjoyed being able to run around their backyard and was a happy boy. I would recommend Samantha and use her services again. Thank you!”

About: I grew up on a farm for most of my life. I also used to ride horses in shows and parades. I have trained dogs, cats, and horses/mules. I love animals more than I like most people. I love playing with them and and going on walks! I treat my pets like my child so let me do the same with yours! You’ll never have to worry about them making a mess inside your home and if they do you will never know because I will most definitely clean it up! I used to aspire to be a veterinarian until I learned they have to put animals down as part of the job. Because I grew up with so many animals I know how to do almost everything from giving them medication to feeding them a special diet. I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school so I have plenty of experience! I am currently in the process of trying to be a small business owner so I do not have a regular job. I’m mostly a stay at home mom for now! So my schedule is pretty open. I try and treat your pets like their favorite aunt coming to visit. I respect your home and strive to leave everything the way you left it!
“Excellent experience. Sara seemed professional, friendly, and very on top of things. She stayed in close touch about our little guy, and Kiwi seemed in good spirits both during his visit and after. I'd also specifically flag her location as a bonus—the house has a good yard and it's on a small, low-traffic side street, which always makes me feel better.”

“Lis and her family were incredible and took such good care of our 2 year old hound, Chowder, while we were out of the country for a week. She provided daily updates and photos and it was clear Chowder was in the best hands. Her dog Charlie was wonderful as well and was so easygoing and chill. We will definitely use Lis again! Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet boy!”

“Amanda and her family were so wonderful with Rocky and made me feel so comfortable leaving him. She sent me adorable pictures of Rocky being taken care of so well. I could tell he was happy and cared for.”

Amherst pet parents share their Rover experiences
Laura was amazing- I had a lot of uncertainty around my plans with the winter weather and she was so flexible and communicative the entire time. Her home and family are lovely, and Henry felt right at home even though he was really anxious from a recent move. She sent me lots of pictures and updates so I knew that Henry was having a blast, and she even picked up food for me when I grabbed the wrong bag going out the door early in the morning. I will absolutely try to have her watch Henry any time I need a sitter for him.

We had a fantastic experience with Nick as our dog sitter for Remy. He was excellent at keeping us updated, sending us regular pictures which we really appreciated. It was clear Remy was in great hands and received wonderful care. We highly recommend Nick and will absolutely be booking him again for future needs!
