“This was our first experience using Rover and we struck gold with Vanessa. She was communicative and kept us updated on our pups while we were away. Our dogs can be a handful as one is VERY high energy, but she clearly knew what she was doing and they came home happy and healthy. I would highly recommend her to watch your pups!”

“Cherie was a warm and gracious host to our dog! She welcomed our dog in and made sure she was comfortable in her home, and dispensed medicine as well. Thank you Cherie!!”

“Bae was great and cam through lase minute when we got stuck, and our dog seemed to do really great with them. On top of that when we arrived one day earlier she initiated a refund which we did not ask for. I heartily recommend her for your dog.”

“Kate has helped care for our dog on multiple occasions. On a recent trip abroad she cared for our pup in her home and he was well taken care of. When we picked up our pup you could tell that he felt safe and loved at Kate’s home. I would recommend Kate to anyone!”

“Taz was in great hands! The love she gave to him and cared for him was amazing! Taz will definitely be going back to Lucille. She was sending pictures and updates on him to us and we loved that.”

“Angelina was fantastic! She took great care of Sammy, and sent us lots of photos while we were away. Excellent communication and very easy to work with. I would absolutely ask Angelina to watch Sammy again!! Thank you!”

“Rebecca was personable and gave updates during our pup’s stay. Rebecca engaged our pup with socialization and training reinforcement. Our pup seemed to have enjoyed her stay and came back safe and sound.”

“This was the first time our Husky stayed with Donnie and everything went great. His experience as a dog trainer and the safe environment for the dogs in his care made her very comfortable. We look forward to using his services again!!”

“If you are anything like us, our fur babies are literally like our children. We travel often, and have boarded our dogs Baxter and Goldie before... never again will I kennel the dogs. I found rover accidentally. Upon looking into it I was thoroughly impressed. Not only were the services more extensive, but the rates were great too. The first person I came across was rebecca. I thought she looked familiar and it turns out, she's my neighbor! Our dogs never have to stay far from home again. Rebecca and her husband Bob are amazing people in general, nevermind the love and attention the pay to the animals. Baxter and Goldie enjoyed their stay. They were excited to come home, but I don't think they would have minded a couple more nights with these dog lovers. Already booked for the 4th of July, and will most definitely be friends for a long time to come. I highly recommend Rebecca if you have a hard time leaving your pets behind. They send pictures and update daily. Over a half a dozen walks in 1 day!! Absolutely amazing. Thank you Rebecca and Bob. You made us leaving our babies behind a lot easier. ❤”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.
“I recently boarded my dog with Daria for the first time, and I was a bit nervous since it was my dog's first experience staying in a stranger's house. However, Daria was amazing! She made my dog feel comfortable and at ease right away. The updates and pictures she sent showed how well my dog was adapting and enjoying the stay. Her kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. I highly recommend Daria for anyone needing a reliable and caring dog sitter, especially for first-timers!”

“I was very nervous having to board my two pups rather emergently. Best thing to have ever happened to me was finding this angel. She sent me a frequent updates as well as pictures. Couldn’t have asked for a better family to take care of my best buds. I am 1000% grateful and will continue to use Jessica in the future.”

“Brooke was amazing! Communication was fast and easy, and Scottie had a great stay. She sent pictures and updates every day, which was greatly appreciated. In the future we hope to have Scottie stay with Brooke again!!”

“Dayna is very responsive and friendly. She took awesome care of my pup Moxie and sent daily updates. I’m pretty sure Moxie didn’t want to come home because she had so much fun getting all the cuddles, attention and playtime with the other dog. I highly recommend choosing Dayna for your sitting needs. I will definitely contact her again the next time I need a sitter”

“Alberta took great care of my pet mice! She helped me move their cage, put them into their travel carrier for me (which is not an easy task sometimes...), and sent me pictures while I was away so I could see how they were doing. Highly recommended, I'll definitely go back to her if I need to board them again.”

“Thank you Ashley for everything! My dog Winston stayed with Ashley this past week and she was excellent. She made me feel very confident that she cared and loved my dog while I was away. She was flexible and willing to work with my dog's special needs. She was in constant contact and sent photos on the regular. Her home was clean and had a great yard for my dog. I highly recommend Ashley :) THANK YOU!”

“Katherine was amazing!!! She took care of our dog as if he was her own. We had a long vacation and she took him for the whole time, no problem!!! She even took an overnight so he would be familiar with her prior to our trip. We will use her again in the future!!! I wish there were 6 stars to give!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wilton
Jo was amazing with our 6 month old puppy, Zephyr, while we on vacation! She kept in touch with texts and photos and there was zero doubt that our puppy was having a great time in Jo's home. We wondered if he'd want to come home, lol. Not only did Zephyr have fun, and get lots of love , but we believe he benefited and matured being in her care. No idea how that happened, maybe just being in another loving home for 10 days increased his confidence. Jo is a dog person. She is capable, experienced, and loves dogs. We are very grateful to have met Jo, and found a host for our dog when he cannot travel with us. We heartily recommend Jo !!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
