“Alyssa has been taking care of our now 85lbs BIG BOY since Jan 2024 (when Bishop, our pitbull, was only 3 months old) Throughout the year, she has proven to be reliable, punctual, respectful, and understanding. Most importantly, Bishop loves seeing her and going on walks with her! Not only does she takes Bishop out for walks, but she take notice of things that could be of concern and address it for his safety, such as walking him on grass during the hot summer. She goes above and beyond and we couldn’t ask for a better walker! We appreciate all that she do!”

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 7 years old at my grandmothers dog grooming salon. I’ve always loved both dogs and cats, and I’ve always felt a connection to them. I now have a dog and cat, and am open to caring for more animals! Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine very easily. On days that I’m working I have plenty of time to walk my dog and feed her in the morning, and once I get out of work i have just enough time to do a walk and feed her! On my days off I tend to spend as much time with my pets as possible, wether is playing, walking, or cuddling! I care for my pets at home by spending quality time with them. My dog loves walks, playing with toys, doing tricks for treats, and cuddling. My cat enjoys lounging with me some days, but he isn’t very playful.

Part of why I love caring for animals with Rover is because I get to know and love so many new furry friends. I promise to treat your pets like my own, and give them love and care while you are away! I'm located in Amherst, on the border of Merrimack, and while I cannot offer boarding at this time as I have two young kids and a pup who has only been with us about 6 months and wouldn't do well yet with other pets in the home, I still would love to get the opportunity to spoil other animals in my area with love. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 15. I have taken care of neighbors, family, and close friends' animals. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds and personalities. I have had to administer medication via shots to animals before and feel comfortable in those situations. I plan on going to veterinary school and have a strong interest in animals and making sure they have fun. I am currently working an internship completely online as well as taking an online summer class. I am able to stay anywhere I need to take care of animals. I have not much else that can interfere with me accompanying the animals. I will take the animals on walks and play with them. I want to make sure they are having as much fun as possible so they cannot worry about anything.

About: We enjoy walks outside and hiking on the local trails in the area. Our home is very welcoming to pets of all sizes. We have had 8 dogs at one time staying here in size from an extra large Swiss Mountain Dog to a tiny Chihuahua. We love playing with the pups in the yard and ensure they get the exercise they need. We also make sure there is always someone home with to make sure they are taken care of. Our Greater Swiss Mountain dog is extremely friendly with people and dogs and loves making new friends. He is very active and loves to play. We love pet sitting and look forward to meeting new pets from the area. I’m currently working from home. We usually start our day with a 1-2 mile local walk. Eat breakfast and start our day. Midday we play in the yard. We do not have a fenced yard, but we are secluded back from any roads. Dogs are always monitored when outside. We can do a tie out if necessary.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, and even bears. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10, and also have volunteered at an animal shelter and a wildlife refuge, so I’m comfortable with all types of animals and their needs. I’m reliable, calm, and know how to handle both routine care and the occasional emergency. I’m going into my junior year at Roger Williams University majoring in criminal justice and psychology. I am currently home for the summer with a very flexible schedule, which gives me time to dedicate to pet care. Pet care has always been a big part of my life, and I prioritize it in my daily routine. I live on 10 acres of open land, giving my cats and chickens lots of space for time outside. I'm reliable and always follow care instructions closely to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy.

About: Hello! My name is Liv, a recent college graduate looking to make some more furry friends. I’ve been proudly taking care of my neighbors dog and house for 3 years when they are away for family and business matters. This includes half an hour drop ins and house sittings for up to 2 weeks to not only keep their fur baby company, but take good care of their house as well. I also have a dog and two cats of my own, so I understand the needs and wants of all different types of animals! I currently have a part time job, so my availability is very flexible. I usually work early morning shifts starting at 6AM to about noon. I would prefer to spend more time with your fur baby at your residence rather than mine due to my own animals, I would love to play with animals, take them on walks, etc. Your pets schedule is mine!
