That’s exactly the kind of care I aim to provide! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m also comfortable caring for pets with additional medical or emotional needs. I have experience with epileptic dogs requiring medication on a strict schedule, as well as dogs who become frightened or anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks. And I’m definitely not just a dog person! I’ve been caring for cats since I was about 10 years old and have experience with both healthy cats and cats with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and subcutaneous fluids and have cared for cats with chronic kidney disease and FeLV. About: I've been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, and these days I'm often the person friends and family call when they need someone to look after their pets. I've spent plenty of time walking dogs, feeding them, playing with them, and making sure they're well cared for while their owners are away. We have extra crated if needed and loads of toys to keep them happy! If alone time is their thing, they are always allowed to cuddle with us on our furniture! If a drop- in, I am very good at following concise instructions to insure happy and safe animals while you’re away! I am always home as I’m a mom of three. About: I’ve owned dogs since I was a young kid. I also volunteer with my local animal shelter and make sure the dogs there are getting outside and their spaces are clean. It’s always been a passion of mine to take care of animals and I’m especially patient with animals that may have behavioral problems due to my shelter experience. I work full time as of right now and I’m attending school. For the moment I can only do weekend boarding for dogs because I want to make sure your animal can get the attention it deserves. I have one cat who tends to mind his business and snooze in hidden spaces. Unless the parents have a schedule that needs to be followed for their fur baby they are allowed to roam around the apartment and use the furniture as much as they’d like. As for animals in the clients home I will surely make sure they’re entertained and exercised; however, the specifics of pet care will ultimately be determined by the customer as I know no one dog can be cared for the same.
