“Amazing! This was the first time we left our cat with a sitter so we were a little worried but we got pictures and updates every day. Her children loved playing with my kitty and we were able to have a getaway knowing our girl was very very well taken care of.”

“Cherie was a warm and gracious host to our dog! She welcomed our dog in and made sure she was comfortable in her home, and dispensed medicine as well. Thank you Cherie!!”

About: I've had two dogs in my life over the last 12 years. Rico Suave was one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, but he passed in 2023 from cancer. Rocket, also a very sweet dog, is full of energy and loves to meet other dogs and get them nice and tired. I'm a person who loves to get out and walk, cuddle with all the pups, and spoil them whenever I can. I'm not sure what sets me apart in terms of abilities, but I will say that I'm a very agreeable person who dogs tend to gravitate towards. Let me help make your life easier! I'm currently not working a 9-5 so my schedule is flexible for the time being. I'm on the hunt for a long term job with weekends available so my scheduling might be different once that happens. I will always make space in my life for good people. I live in an apartment complex that is dog friendly, close to walking trails and multiple dog parks, and have multiple couches/dog beds to share. My pup, Rocket, loves to play and share his toys.

“Tracy was so sweet, very responsive, and you could tell she loves animals. She sent updates with pictures regularly and o could see he was so cared for. My dog Kanan came home a very happy pup! Thank you again Tracy!”

“We left our dogs in the hands of a very warm and caring man and his wife. My dogs loved it there and Phill kept us informed regularly as well as sending us many photos. We were gone 10 days and as any dog parent, missed them a lot but always felt comfortable about being away. Phill is always responsive and got back to us quickly when we contacted him. I've already referred him to several of our friends through Rover. Thanks Phill!!”

“Michael took our dog for an overnight stay in a short notice. Ozzy loved his stay and the other dogs he socialized with it. Happy puppy when we got him back. We highly recommend Michael. Thank you!!”

“We got stuck on vacation for several extra days because of the snowstorm and he was very flexible and accommodating. We would have been in major trouble if our dog was with someone who couldn’t take on the extra days but luckily this is the one thing we did not have to worry about. Our dog seemed very happy and taken care of when we picked him. The fact that watching your dog is his job and main priority is a huge reason why I’d recommend choosing here over somewhere else.”

“Francois took care of our senior dog recently we would highly recommend him . He communicated with us every day with text & pictures. Our dog being on the elderly side is very set in his ways & Francois took all his special needs into account. We returned home to a happy and relaxed dog.”

“Monica was great with Champ. I would highly recommend her and will be booking with her again. She was great at keeping us informed about Champ. She also sent us pictures that help us while we were away on vacation.”

“We had a long talk with Hope when we returned home. She said that she had a wonderful time with Laura and family and even had her usual opportunity to 'snuggle'. It was comforting to know that there is a home near ours where we can be comfortable leaving Hope, knowing that she will be loved and cared for. I expect that we will be asking Laura to care for Hope in the future”

“Able to handle my dogs quirky behaviors well-she has had two rescue dogs-she knows what she is doing. My dog liked her and she enjoyed walking him. She sent me photos of him too. He seemed very friendly with her when we were leaving and cuddled her.”

“Amanda and her family (including their awesome dog) took care of our pup as though she were their own. We received pictures and updates throughout her stay. We had great peace of mind knowing our little dog was receiving such ample love and attention. Our dog looks forward to a future stay with Amanda!”

“Couldn’t have felt any better having Shadow stay with Alyssa! She kept us updated with photos and videos, and he was able to make some new friends! When we picked him up he was a happy boy and we can tell he was well taken care of! Would highly recommend to everyone!!”

“Briana was SUPER flexible and accommodating! She has a wonderfully large fenced in backyard for the pups to play in. She was very thorough in the fact she wanted to meet our pup & talk with us before hand and read through our notes on Rover. She sent us updates and photos throughout the time our pup stayed with her which was so reassuring as it was our first time leaving our pup behind!”

“I am very happy with Charlie's experience in 2 day care visits and one long stay as a boarder while I was hospitalized. I also really appreciated their flexibility because I needed to extend the original booking. Charlie had some dog friends in our old home, but after the move here, he had become clingy with me and hyper reactive with dogs encountered on walks. Right from the beginning Charlie was relaxed and at ease with Oona and Oliver. They sent me some great pics of Charlie lounging and also playing with the other dogs. I plan to let him return for some good daycare play experience. Charlie was happy to be home with me, but no return to clinginess -- all good.”

Pepperell pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ralph was amazing with our two pups! We went on vacation for a week and were struggling to place our two dogs, Zeus and Daisy. Zeus is a bull terrier and is usually breed restricted at mainly any boarding location. We didn’t want to leave him like that for so long and turned to Rover for assistance. We found Ralph, and did a meet and greet. My dogs are typically weary of strangers but took to him instantly! He listed to their needs and adjusted accordingly. Zeus does not like his paws touching hard floor (I know 😂) - Ralph put carpet down on his kitchen floors to help him! They also cannot be around other dogs and Ralph made sure to keep his home free of sitting any other dogs during our time. He sent daily updates, taking them on walks and play time. I didn’t worry about a thing - 10 out of 10 would recommend and will definitely seek him out again!

Our dogs were happy and well cared for. We have a senior rat terrier and a very energetic AmStaf mix. Ralph handled them both appropriately and gave plenty of cuddles so they felt well loved. We won't hesitate to bring them back again either for a day or another extended trip.
Michael was amazing with my Duke. He took him on many walks, he played with him, and he cuddle him all the time! Michael is an amazing dog sitter, I never felt uncomfortable with leaving Duke to Michael’s house. He sent pictures, videos, and updates daily! The price is amazing and fair!!
