“My chocolate lab had a great time with Rebeca. During the stay, Rebeca sent daily pics and also responds fast. She also gave him a cute little treat bag at the end of the stay. Appreciate her care for dogs and highly recommend choosing her!”

“Bae was great and cam through lase minute when we got stuck, and our dog seemed to do really great with them. On top of that when we arrived one day earlier she initiated a refund which we did not ask for. I heartily recommend her for your dog.”

“Leaving our dog with a sitter through Rover for the first time was very nerve wracking but Joshua reassured us from the meet and greet to the very end of our vacation. He sent us updates everyday and communication was top tier. I would book with Joshua again. Highly recommend!”

“Bojack loved staying with Kourtney! He is a fourteen years old. I like that Kourtney has a background in veterinary medicine. Not only did that make me trust her with his daily meds, it was nice knowing that there was a trained eye on him. Bojack is overly bonded to me to the point that he often sits by the window waiting for me to return when I go out. The biggest compliment to Kourtney's care is that when we picked him up, he greeted me with enthusiasm but not anywhere near the crazy welcome I usually get, AND he kept looking back at Kourtney as if he was unsure whether he wanted to leave! We will definitely have her watch him again.”

“Jing, made this experience a very positive one. I hadn’t left my 2yr old Zuchon previous to this. I felt very reassured for the duration my fur baby was in her home. My pet enjoyed the doggy day camp, and will continue to use Jing whenever possible. Thanks Rover!”

“Rebecca was personable and gave updates during our pup’s stay. Rebecca engaged our pup with socialization and training reinforcement. Our pup seemed to have enjoyed her stay and came back safe and sound.”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.
“Alberta was the best match for "Lucky", my very personable and sweet 15- year old Golden Doodle. Before accepting Lucky for a Sunday-to-Sunday December stay, Alberta asked all the right questions from his daily routine to how best to administer his prescription meds. Alberta also required a current veterinarian record as proof that Lucky was up to date on all his shots and also so she could keep an eye on his health. Aside from a very professional, proficient, and friendly onboarding the real magic happened when Alberta cheerfully greeted Lucky and she knew to give him time and space to acclimate to his new B&B and her own three doggies - a greyhound, a lab and a golden mix. Every morning I received a cutie pie photo of my fur baby in a different scenario which showed me just how well he was doing! Snoozing on his bed, hanging with her other dogs in the fenced in yard, or begging for a treat. Normally when I pick up my boy from other sitters he looks a bit frazzled-as if to say- what was that all about!? LOL But after his stay with Alberta and family Lucky came trotting out, happy to see me and and freshly brushed too. I could see in his eyes that he was well-rested and happy. WOW! Thanks Alberta for all the TLC!”

“Lindsey was great. I needed someone good at the last minute and luckily she was available. She kept us updated on what Izzy was up to (via pics and vids) and Izzy seems to have had a great time there with Lindsey and her girls. So, I will def be using her again when the need arises.”

“Emily was great, gave us plenty of updates of how Brodie was doing while he was under her care and was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. Would highly recommend and have her watch Brodie again!”

“Thalia cared for my dog, Cody, overnight for the first time. Everything went very well. He is an anxious little guy, but based on her photos and feedback, I believe it was a good experience for Cody. Thalia sent me lots of photos and updates which I appreciated. I would have her care for Cody again. Thank you Thalia.”

“Jo Tom’s place is pristine clean and Jo is amazing😀This was the first time my 10-year-old Shih Tzu Lizzee had EVER been left with anyone other than those she knew. Jo was kind and loving from the moment we met and she and Lizzee became fast friends. Jo sent messages, photos and videos several times a day and responded to my inquiries within minutes. We will request Jo for any time we need dog boarding and have already sent in a request for this December😍 Thank you, thank you, and thank you again! I’m giving Jo Tom a hundred plus stars🌠”

“Really the best care for your animal when when you can’t be there. We have used Christine 2 times and will def use again. Her and her family are wonderful and take care of our dog as it is there own! Highly recommend!!”

“Jodie was absolutely amazing with my dog over Memorial Day weekend! She went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and well cared for. She kept me updated with great communication throughout the stay and sent lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog had an absolute blast with her, and it was clear she was in great hands the entire time. I would highly recommend Jodie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter!”

“Was very communicative and great with my dog. Took blue on multiple runs and hour long walks, which really helps her when she’s feeling anxious away from home. Would definitely recommend.”

“Salish, did an amazing job keeping me updated during the 2 weeks JJ stayed with her. I always felt he was being well cared for while I was gone! I highly recommend her and her family!”

“I can't say enough good things about Becky. This was the first time we left our Pup with anyone, and I was extremely nervous because he is so attached to us. Becky and Bob made the transition seamless and gave him so much love while we were gone. She would give me daily updates and send me pictures so that I could see how much fun he was having. She truly is so wonderful with the dogs she cares for and treats them like her own. I would highly recommend Becky and Bob.”

“I’m so glad I found Stacey to care for my dog. She was Amazing! She provided pictures and updates daily which put my mind at ease. She took such good care of her that I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home! Truly the BEST! Thank you!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hollis
Absolute best sitter I've left my GSD with. Hoping to book again soon so he gets more socialization with their pup. Kalani was very accommodating and understanding of my last minute request to book on a holiday weekend and my boys' anxiety that can look like aggression. Great communication and care. Would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
