We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”

About: I've grown up with pets and am comfortable walking and snuggling them. I'm also comfortable cleaning up after them and providing meds when necessary! I currently work as an elementary school teacher who gets home around 3:30. Typically I do short walks in the morning, then give a long walk when I get home, play time, dinner time, snuggle time and then an evening bathroom trip before bed! I am open to having smaller dogs stay with me. My condo has lots of great walking trails and is very safe and pet friendly. However, in the past I've typically done housesitting with the pet sitting. I am pretty tech savvy so I think I can manage all the appliances in a household, and would be sure to respect any house rules you have! :)

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 15. I have taken care of neighbors, family, and close friends' animals. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds and personalities. I have had to administer medication via shots to animals before and feel comfortable in those situations. About: I was an emergency Certified Vet Tech for 6 years and unfortunately had to leave my career due to family matters. I’m still very passionate about animal care and would love more time with animals! I can take care of cats, dogs and exotics if you have them. I'm medically experienced so you'll never have to worry. I will make an effort to get to know your animals and make them feel comfortable around me. I can administrator medications and manage old or young friends. I'm honest, trustworthy and would love to be there for you and your pet! I appreciate clear and honest communication and direction. I have 5 pets so it’s a huge part of my life. One of my pups is going through chemo for his lymphoma right now, so I’m doing additional medical care at home too. I care for my pets 24/7. I let my pups out in the backyard first thing in the morning. Check on my kitties litters boxes. Check the pets water bowls. One of my kitties gets meds twice a day. They get treats and food throughout the day. My pets get vitamins too. I play with the ones who enjoy playing and if it’s nice outside, 2 of my pups enjoy staying outside. There’s a lot more I do and it’s a ton of work, but I love them all and work hard to make them happy, healthy and safe!

“We had a long talk with Hope when we returned home. She said that she had a wonderful time with Laura and family and even had her usual opportunity to 'snuggle'. It was comforting to know that there is a home near ours where we can be comfortable leaving Hope, knowing that she will be loved and cared for. I expect that we will be asking Laura to care for Hope in the future”

“I’d give 6 stars if i could. We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”

“Cherie was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and for my new dog I had only had for two months, so I was uncertain about the whole process. Cherie was very responsive and easy to work with. My dog isn’t the easiest dog ever but Cherie managed her well. With the big fenced in backyard and other dog friends to play with, I wasn’t sure my dog waned to leave at the end!! Highly recommend. Almost forgot- we had a few travel hiccups coming back and Cherie was really understanding and we were able to book an extra night. Five stars!”
