About: I have not been an official sitter before, but I have been a dog owner for 20 years and know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. Dogs are family, and I understand the importance of making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We do not currently have any fur friends at home, so we would be honored to share that love with your dog. I provide a calm environment, pay attention to routines and needs, and communicate clearly so you can feel confident while you’re away. Because we do not currently have pets at home, we have room in our routine to give your dog plenty of love, attention, and companionship. We can be intentional about feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, and we know how important it is to keep dogs on a routine that helps them feel safe and settled. We know dogs are family, so we care for them with patience, attention, and genuine love. Our home is currently without other pets, which allows us to offer a calm environment and focused care. We will follow your instructions closely, pay attention to your dog’s comfort and behavior, and communicate clearly so you know your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I work full-time from home in Amherst, meaning your dog will never be left alone or crated for long stretches. I have a large, fully fenced-in yard where guest dogs can run safely alongside my friendly 35 lb Rat Terrier/Beagle mix, Wally! Because I only host ONE client family at a time, your pet gets 100% of my attention, unlimited bathroom breaks, and constant supervision throughout the day. Whether it's lounging next to my desk or playing fetch in the yard, your dog will feel right at home. I work full-time from home, which means pet care seamlessly integrates into my day. Your dog won't be left alone or crated for hours while you're away. I take regular breaks throughout the day for yard play, potty breaks, and walks. Because I only take one client family at a time, your dog receives constant company alongside my friendly mix, Wally. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home features a fully fenced, secure backyard where dogs can run freely and safely. Inside, furniture privileges are welcome if that's what your pup is used to at home! Whether your dog is crate-trained or prefers lounging on a dog bed, I adapt to their normal routine. Mandatory meet-and-greets ensure everyone gets along before booking.

About: I've been a lifelong dog lover (with the occasional cat in the mix) and actively foster for a rescue. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science so your pets will be more than well taken care of. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. About: Hello, thanks for considering me to help care for your family! A little about me- I’ve had dogs my whole life. A lovable quirky Golden and quite a few Akitas. I’ve found every dog has unique needs and especially adoptees and rescues, need extra patience and understanding to gain your trust. I like to be mindful and cater to each dog’s individual needs on a case by case basis so they get the best possible care, which they deserve. I am reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own, with care and love. I have experience with both puppies and aging dogs. At any stage in their life I’m happy to do what I can to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I have cared for cats and dogs with daily check ins and in-house care. I feel strongly that both parties be comfortable with the pet care. You, the owners, should feel comfortable with me watching your pet(s) just as I should feel confident watching them. This is not just a way to earn some extra income (while that is important) your pet(s) deserve the best and if we are not a good match both parties are welcome to decline the care if we feel that’s best so your loved one(s), you, and I all feel good about the situation. Communication is key and as I mentioned if either of us feel unsure or unsafe it’s not worth the compensation. I have experience with a variety of cats, Golden Retrievers, Akitas (up to 130 lbs), German Shepards, Terriers, Boxer-Pit mixes, Labrador’s, and quite a few other mutts. I like dogs, big or small! I’m more than happy to work with you to confirm details and instructions and make sure you’re comfortable leaving your little family members, while making the process easy and stress free. I take extra care when in anyone else’s space, whether that’s your apartment, house, condo, whatever your home looks like, it warrants respect, privacy, and care. I have experience with dogs being put in their cages when left alone, for dinner, or overnight. I also have experience with dogs sleeping in the same square foot I do! (And by that I mean I am their human-sized pillow so they can sleep comfortably haha). All depends on what you prefer, happy to chat about your preferences. This is your pet, your choice. I will respect your requests, just communicate what you expect for your dog/cat/creature and we’ll make sure we’re on the same page so you and your pet are comfortable. About: I have 14+ years experience in the veterinary field. Learning about animal behaviors, preventative care and physical health is a passion of mine. I am a very well rounded animal enthusiast that loves to stay busy. Some of my extracurriculars include training my Australian shepherd, whether it’s dock diving, agility or overall obedience. I will hold each pet to standards that support good manners, so some training may be associated with my services. I strive to exercise your fur babies intellectually as well as physically. I am very detailed oriented, and consider myself very observant. I’m not afraid to communicate and ask questions regarding your pets’ needs. I would be caring for your pet around my typical work schedule, which is M-F ~8-6pm, but I can always drop in mid day during lunch. Communicating your expectations so I may practice proper time management is important for a successful and stress free pet sitting job. I have a very well socialized 5yo male, 50lb, Australian shepherd, Oshie and he loves to play. Additionally I can provide walks, and play sessions. Hikes are also supported.
