About: I have not been an official sitter before, but I have been a dog owner for 20 years and know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone elseâs care. Dogs are family, and I understand the importance of making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We do not currently have any fur friends at home, so we would be honored to share that love with your dog. I provide a calm environment, pay attention to routines and needs, and communicate clearly so you can feel confident while youâre away. Because we do not currently have pets at home, we have room in our routine to give your dog plenty of love, attention, and companionship. We can be intentional about feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest, and we know how important it is to keep dogs on a routine that helps them feel safe and settled. We know dogs are family, so we care for them with patience, attention, and genuine love. Our home is currently without other pets, which allows us to offer a calm environment and focused care. We will follow your instructions closely, pay attention to your dogâs comfort and behavior, and communicate clearly so you know your pet is safe and well cared for.
âAmazing as always- Ryder always has the best time with Amanda! He jumped out of the car this morning so excited. And available last minute which is so nice when last minute things come up. She is the best, and I appreciate her so much đâ

âBrooke is so kind and sweet and my pup loved her - I definitely felt like he was in good hands while she watched him for the day. She is quickly responsive to text messages as well. Great experience!â

âWinston had a great day with Andrew. He loved the fenced in yard and got to run around and play with toys! He was very tired when he got home. We will continue to bring him to Andrew in the future. Thank you!â

âTucker loved his stay with Emily, and we loved the communication! Lots of pictures and updates to show how much fun they were having together. Above and beyond!â

âKathryn is great. She took great care of my dog while I was at work. Sent me pictures and updates so that I knew how he was doing. Highly recommend. We did daycare with her and he loves being there and playing with her dogs and whoever else she is watching that dayâ

âJodie is absolutely amazing! Booked her last minute for two days of daycare for my puppy and she excepted right away. Her updates and communication throughout the day is absolutely awesome. I could not recommend a better person to watch your pet. I will be continuing to use her for all my daycare and boarding needs! If I could give her 10 stars I would!!â

âLindsey was so accommodating when we had to leave Oreo (our Shi Tzu) with her for 4 days. She has a Chihuahua of her own and both of them became friends. I would recommend her for your pet day care.â

âRalph is amazing with dogs. He took care of my dog in a pinch and very last minute and he not only was flexible but also very kind and loving to my dog. My dog took to him right away, dogs know dog lovers! His updates and pictures he shared of my dog throughout the day showed a happy puppy! My dog came home and just slept, he exercised so much with Ralph. I will definitely hire him again for doggy day care and boarding.â
About: Looking to help fellow pup owners out for daily visits, walks, extended stays or quick weekend trips! I have been taking care of family & friends dogs for over a decade and can't wait to meet yours! We have an unfenced yard with runners, so the pups can roam on leash with us out back- plenty of room to play & relax. Our dog Ollie loves making new friends (old & young, big or small)! He is used to having new dogs in the house, as we used to foster. Please message if youâre looking for a home that will give your pup extra love while youâre away! :) I am a full time student taking online classes- so, I am home during the day and would love to help make sure your dog has their daily needs met! Our home is completely dog friendly. Our 4 pawed friends always seem to find a cozy spot to take a nap, whether itâs on the couch, chair or a bed! Our neighborhood is also wonderful for walks.
âLogan had a fun and active day with Michael! Early in the day we received an update with pictures of Logan playing in the yard with the other dogs. When we picked Logan up, he was doing his âhappy barksâ so we could tell he had a great time! At home, he was tired after all the fun. Will book again.â

I have 4 kids that are full of energy and love playing with animals as much as I do! I work from home so I am always around and love talking daily walks early in the morning, at lunch and at dinner time. My golden doodle is always looking for new friends too! I have plenty of indoor space for play and a built in playful friend in my golden doodle so your dog will never be bored but can also have separate time for relaxation as needed
About: I have 14+ years experience in the veterinary field. Learning about animal behaviors, preventative care and physical health is a passion of mine. I am a very well rounded animal enthusiast that loves to stay busy. Some of my extracurriculars include training my Australian shepherd, whether itâs dock diving, agility or overall obedience. I will hold each pet to standards that support good manners, so some training may be associated with my services. I strive to exercise your fur babies intellectually as well as physically. I am very detailed oriented, and consider myself very observant. Iâm not afraid to communicate and ask questions regarding your petsâ needs. I would be caring for your pet around my typical work schedule, which is M-F ~8-6pm, but I can always drop in mid day during lunch. Communicating your expectations so I may practice proper time management is important for a successful and stress free pet sitting job. I have a very well socialized 5yo male, 50lb, Australian shepherd, Oshie and he loves to play. Additionally I can provide walks, and play sessions. Hikes are also supported.
âSheena and her family are the best! Stella had a wonderful stay, all the communication was great, she was surrounded by loving family and had a great time. Everything was very well organized, and super easy from our point of you.â

âWe have a 20 lb male Cavachon named Blazer. We were very pleased with Blazerâs stay with Robert. Robert was excellent at sending us pictures and keeping Blazer happy. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Milford commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
