“Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! We truly couldn’t ask for better care for our girls. 10/10!”

“Ashley is the best!! She treats Banner like her own dog. He loves her!! My front door wouldn’t unlock so she could return Banner. She looked around the house, found an unlocked window, crawled in to open the door for Banner!! She is dedicated, and goes beyond.”

“Appreciate Morgan’s communication and care for Loki! I was home earlier than expected and easily able to cancel a booked reservation at very short notice. Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for friends and family for about 14 years. I started off helping my older sisters. I have dogs, cats and a ball python at home. I had a bearded dragon that recently passed. I’ve also house sat and watch horses, goats, ducks and chickens for about 7 years. Message me with any questions. At the moment I’m very flexible because I’m not working. I’m in online school and have a baby (born June 2025) that will be coming with me. Send me a message and I’d love to talk and see if I’d be a good fit. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats in my home, as well as a ball python. I have a fenced in backyard and have a baby born June of 2025.

About: I currently have two cats and two dogs that I absolutely adore and consider part of the family. I've also pet sat for family friends and have experience caring for pets with different needs and personalities. After caring for a sick fur baby of my own, I'm comfortable giving medications and helping pets who need a little extra attention or medical care. I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands, and I’ll always treat them with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. ❤️ I’m currently a full-time college student completing my classes online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Because I can plan my coursework around my commitments, I’m able to be dependable and accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m more than happy to provide in-home visits to care for your precious pets. Before any visits begin, I like to meet with families to discuss any questions, concerns, or special care instructions. It’s also a great opportunity for your pets to get comfortable with me and for us to make sure we’re a good fit. My goal is to help both you and your pets feel safe, confident, and at ease while you're away.
“So happy to have found Lily! She is amazing with my dogs! I really appreciate that she wants to get to know your pet and their specific needs, very loving and caring.Thank you Lily you’re a true gem!”

“Darsy has been great. She shows up on time and has been working to gain the trust of our obstinate rat terrier and made progress today to get her out on a walk. As for our puppy, Bella, Darcy has been great with walking her and making sure she gets some water after the walk and playing with her. She’s also been great about working around our schedule. I highly recommend her.”

About: I treat animals as a parent would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and providing the appropriate enforcement for positive behavior and training. I work full-time, yet I make time for evening walks with my dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, I take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. I have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, I do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.
About: Hi there! Trusting someone with your fur baby isn’t easy—and it shouldn’t be. Every pet deserves individualized care, patience, kindness, and most of all, genuine love. With over 7 years of hands-on animal care experience, you can feel confident you’ve found someone who truly understands that. I started at just 14 as a zookeeper’s aide in Boston, and have since spent years dog walking and pet sitting throughout the Greater Boston area. I’ve recently relocated to New Hampshire and am so excited to meet some new furry friends! Whether it’s a peaceful walk, playtime, or just giving your pet the attention they deserve, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. Let’s get started—your pup is already dreaming of fresh air, paws in the grass, and a few well-earned treats I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on your pet’s needs. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting throughout the week, with more open availability in the afternoons and on weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have one dog and two cats at home, and I maintain a calm, structured environment. My dog is on the more sensitive side, which has made me especially attentive to reading behavior, body language, and creating a low-stress atmosphere for every pet in my care. I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully, and I’m always able to separate pets when needed to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I focus more on structured, engaging walks rather than free roaming. All outdoor time is closely supervised and secure, giving your dog both physical exercise and mental stimulation in a safe, controlled way. I’m also happy to crate if that’s part of your dog’s routine and will follow your care instructions closely to keep things consistent and stress-free.

About: Looking for someone to care for your pets as well as you do? I have 15 years of experience caring for animals ranging all different sizes, ages, and health needs. I’ve had animals my whole life from dogs, cats, horses, and exotic birds. I am the designated care giver for my friends’ and family’s pets and wanted to give Rover a try to put those skills to more use. I currently have two cats of my own and will not be accepting to board animals in my home at this time, but am more than happy to care for your furry or feathered friends in their current space and make sure they’re exercised, fed, and not missing you too much while you’re away! My rates are all negotiable, please connect with me directly for pricing questions. I look forward to befriending and caring for your pets and keeping them safe for your return home whether it be from a vacation or just from work. I currently work remotely part time during the week and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to drive and visit your pets to care for them. Drop in visits typically take about 15-20 minutes, walking or exercising can be 1-2 hours, and sitting can be booked for multiple days. Since I will be only caring for pets in their own homes, my care is fully personalized and customizable to meet your specific needs and requirements. I am comfortable giving medication to pets and am experienced with reactive and emotionally triggered animals.
“Lindsay was fantastic! I will continue to use her in the future when I need a dog walker/pet sitter. She is responsive, attentive and even brought in my packages that were left at my door. I highly recommend Lindsay.”

About: I've always had animals in my life since the day I was born. I was brought up to love all creatures big and small. My true passion and love in this life is for the animals. I have worked with mainly cats and dogs. Volunteered in many animal shelters in NH and CT. At one time I lived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where I helped run an animal shelter. Saving many animals from bad situations. I also went around to the schools down there educating the children on how to care for an animal. When I moved back to the USA I started volunteering at my vet where I brought my dogs for care. My vet ran a rescue called All Better Pets. She turned it over to us volunteers. We created a Board where I became Treasurer. I have no children so my animals are my children. This is just a brief description of the many things I have done to help. Thank you for reading this and Happy Tails!! I am an LNA and currently I work Monday through Friday with seniors through a private company. I would eventually like to get back into working with animals full time. I am looking to walk, feed and or care for your furbaby in your home. Currently I can not Board an animal as my friend who I live with has 3 cats, 1 which is old and sick. Sorry! Currently in my home we have 3 cats. Our dog has passed. They have free range of the home and many places to look out the windows along with climbing towers etc. When my dog was alive she had an electric fence where she was free to roam while we were home.

About: My love for animals started at a very young age. There has never been a time in my life where I did not have a fur-baby! I began my experience working at a local pet store in town, where I learned how to administer medicine, understand behavioral cues, conduct light grooming, and properly care for any special cases. I started pet-sitting a little over 6 years ago, and have loved every minute of it! I am available on Wednesdays for dog sitting/walking, and can be very flexible with the times needed. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fur babies! I currently work full-time as a RN at a local Medical Spa. I am accepting clients on Wednesday’s of each week. I may be available on some weekends and Thursdays upon request. For stays in your home, I strive to give your pet a seamless transition while you are gone. My goal is to keep them active through stimulating games and fun adventures! On walks, I will go at their pace while taking them to new and exciting places. I treat all pets as if they were my own, and provide them a safe space to do what they love.

About: My own 3 legged border collie keeps me on my toes. I've pet sat for friends and family over the years and im excited to expand to help other people! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
