About: Hi there! I have over 20 years of personal experience caring for dogs through fostering and adoption for the entirety of my childhood and adulthood, accompanied with over 7+ years of professional experience working in dog daycare, boarding, pack, and rescue settings. Dogs have always been a central part of my life, and my greatest passion for as long as I can remember! I’ve worked as a site manager at a local dog rescue and have had a great deal of experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments - from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as dogs with specific behavioral or medical needs. I’m confident providing individualized and thoroughly compassionate care while prioritizing safety and each dogs day to day routine. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member and give you peace of mind knowing they are being treated as one of my own! 🩵🦴🐾 I currently have open availability and can accommodate drop-in visits most days, including weekends. I’m also happy to provide overnight house sitting. I’m flexible and open to work with you to make sure your pet’s care fits smoothly into their usual routine! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I’m a reliable and attentive caregiver who believes communication is key, so I provide updates with every visit, including photos and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing. It’s very important to me that parents can feel confident and assured that your family member is in good hands! I make it a point to follow your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Before care begins, I always ask detailed questions about feeding times, enrichment, playtime, medications, and daily habits. I love learning about your pet’s personality and energy level/play style. Whether they enjoy running, long walks, leisurely sniffing around the yard, or simply cuddling and relaxing, my goal is to adjust to your pet, not the other way around. (:

Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! We truly couldn’t ask for better care for our girls. 10/10!

About: I've had a number of pets throughout my life that I have taken care of including dogs of all sizes. I hold a special place in my heart for pitbulls as my sweetest girl was a pittie mix. I'm also used to anxious animals and can manage a pet who doesn't appreciate human contact very much. I'm currently in graduate school, looking for work over the summer and hopefully continuing into weekends and evenings once classes begin again. I work part time in senior care. I believe every animal deserves a kind and loving home, regardless or species, breed, or temperament. I approach every animal with respect for their personal space but will happily pet and play with the ones who are comfortable.

About: I currently work as a kennel attendant at a boarding facility, caring for dogs every day. Before that, I worked on a farm looking after horses, rabbits, ducks, geese, and chickens. I’ve also owned and cared for reptiles (like monitor lizards, chameleons, and geckos) and amphibians (frogs, axolotls, and turtles. My services are limited on a first come first served basis. I do have a full time job but will always make caring for animals my priority I will follow any and all instructions you give me to care for your pet just has you do or if you’d like your fur baby to be a little bit spoiled, I can do that too

Olivia has been such a blessing to help break up the day for my newly rescued pup, Woody. She is kind, patient, friendly, responsive and is a great communicator. She takes her time with Woody never seemingly rushing or overwhelming him. She takes his ques when he’s anxious on walks and wants to return home pivoting to a play session out back or inside with his toys and giving me a debriefing. I was anxious about utility Roover at first with some friends poor experiences. My anxiety quickly disappeared after a brief FaceTime to connect prior to Woodys first walk. Woody and I certainly got lucky with finding Olivia to be apart of our days/weeks. Thank you Olivia for being you, we are truly grateful for you.

About: Being a dog lover, I have always cherished the bond between humans and our canine companions. The unwavering loyalty, boundless affection, and playful spirits of dogs have captivated my heart from a tender age. My passion for dogs extends beyond simply enjoying their company; it drives me to provide them with the very best care and create enriching experiences that enhance their well-being. As a dog sitter, I am committed to providing a comprehensive and personalized service tailored to each dog's unique personality and requirements. Whether it's daily walks in the park, playtime in the backyard, or cozy cuddles on the couch, I strive to create a welcoming and stimulating environment where dogs can thrive. I believe that every dog deserves to feel loved, respected, and well cared for, and I approach my role with empathy, patience, and a genuine love for these extraordinary creatures. I’m currently an at home mom of 3 children under three years old. And I own a 4 year old mixed breed named Paris. I am available from 2:30pm through 9pm for daily walks and play time everyday. My preferred day-care hours are from 2:30pm through 10pm everyday. And my in-home overnight care is designated to Fridays nights into early Sunday Afternoons. I offer free roam or crated care in my home. All upon clients requests. Water is provided 24/7. Food will be given as quoted by owners. A variety of toys are available 24/7. I am very persistent on being out and about so walk times are within 1-3 hour intervals.

About: We treat animals as parents would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and taking the appropriate approach for positive behavior and training. We work full-time, yet we make time for evening walks with our youngest dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, we take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. We have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, we do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.

About: I currently have two cats and two dogs that I absolutely adore and consider part of the family. I've also pet sat for family friends and have experience caring for pets with different needs and personalities. After caring for a sick fur baby of my own, I'm comfortable giving medications and helping pets who need a little extra attention or medical care. I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands, and I’ll always treat them with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. ❤️ I’m currently a full-time college student completing my classes online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Because I can plan my coursework around my commitments, I’m able to be dependable and accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m more than happy to provide in-home visits to care for your precious pets. Before any visits begin, I like to meet with families to discuss any questions, concerns, or special care instructions. It’s also a great opportunity for your pets to get comfortable with me and for us to make sure we’re a good fit. My goal is to help both you and your pets feel safe, confident, and at ease while you're away.

About: We love our dogs with an insane amount of love and care. They are our babies. Specializing in pugs and senior and disabled care. I am empathetic, give attention to detail, and give the utmost respect to all who are unable to care for themselves. 🐾🙂 Pet care doesn’t just FIT into the daily routine. It IS the daily routine, 24/7, no days off, no holidays. Our dogs are members of our family. I care for others animals just like I would want ours to be cared for. Which, if you know us, is like royalty. 😊😉 (Our pugs’ closet is bigger than mine.)

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have experience in all types of sizes and breeds. I will walk them as needed, administer meds, and play with them. I have a kennel, if that’s what they’re used to. I’m familiar with how to deal with difficult animals, as I’ve raised some dogs that I was their only way of survival. I will do everything I can to make sure your fur baby feels at home. I have treats and toys, and nothing but time. If you want to me to work on basic commands for your home, that is also an option. You will never have to wonder how they’re doing, as I will keep you updated with pictures and videos.

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
