I grew up with a Labrador who showed me the joy of unconditional love, and I recently had to say goodbye to my sweet girl after 12 wonderful years together. I live in a quiet town with lots of sidewalks and nearby neighborhoods, which makes for safe and enjoyable walks. While I don’t have a fenced-in backyard, I do have plenty of grassy space for outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate dogs if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel secure. About: I treat animals as a parent would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and providing the appropriate enforcement for positive behavior and training. I work full-time, yet I make time for evening walks with my dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, I take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. I have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, I do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.
