“I hired Tiffany to take care of my cat’s needs for a day during a short road trip. She communicated well and did everything needed! Meeting and talking with her made it clear she’s a true animal person. Highly recommended for the care of any sort of pet!”

“Alicia took wonderful care of my cats - she was very thoughtful and kind with them and I could tell they were loving the attention and playtime from the photos she sent. 10/10 would rebook and recommend.”

“Morgan delivers every time! I trust no one with my dog other than Morgan. She pays attention to detail and is incredible communicative. I can write a thousand and one reviews and will always sing her praise. She is worth every penny and more. My Henry is obsessed with her! We cant survive without her!”

“Dalyce is professional and dependable and a very good communicator. Most importantly, she has a great disposition for both my anxious shephard and super mellow senior. Felt very comfortable knowing they were in her care.”

“Ashley was great with my 3 dogs. She quickly won them over and they were very comfortable with her. I could tell by the photos and videos they loved their time with her, whether inside or outside they were all smiles. I would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a natural animal lover.”

“Anthony has been absolutely wonderful with our young puppy (from 10 to 14 weeks)! He has taught him to walk with manners and helped us with tricks! Our puppy absolutely adores him — we will continue to rebook! Thank you so much, Anthony!”

About: I specialize in dogs who need real exercise — not just a slow neighborhood loop. If your dog is high‑energy, athletic, or a working breed, I offer fast‑paced walks, joring sessions, and trail adventures designed to burn energy and build confidence. I grew up with a Husky/Malamute mix and have lived with high‑drive dogs ever since. My partner and I have fostered around 35 dogs, and I’ve cared for hundreds more through walking, boarding, and sitting. I’ve worked with every personality you can imagine — anxious, reactive, social, senior, and everything in between. My approach is structured, safe, and tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether your pup needs a power walk, mental stimulation, or a full adventure outing, I make sure they get the right balance of exercise and calm. My schedule is wide open, and I’ve made dog walking and adventure‑based exercise my primary focus. This means I’m available for consistent routines, last‑minute bookings, and dogs who need regular high‑energy outings. I’ve worked with dogs across every temperament - from wind‑shy pups to strict no‑contact dogs to social butterflies. I adjust my handling style to match each dog’s comfort level and safety needs. Clear routines, calm structure, and individualized care guide every decision I make. Your dog’s safety and emotional well‑being always come first

“There's nothing like coming home from a day trip to relaxed, happy pups. Danielle always sends pictures, is sensitive to the opposing needs of both my dogs and has even brought in packages! A+”

“Jessica was caring and attentive to our kitties! She was able to modify some instructions when my kitten wasn’t eating as well and was very communicative with updates. Thanks, Jessica!”

“Taylor takes such wonderful care of our dog! She shares very detailed messages and includes adorable pictures! It makes me feel more comfortable about being away from home.”

About: I treat animals as a parent would with a child. It's all about knowing that every creature has a personality of their own and providing the appropriate enforcement for positive behavior and training. I work full-time, yet I make time for evening walks with my dog (if the temperature is bearable). On the weekends, I take her for 1-2 walks within the two days. Late Spring to mid Fall is the best time for outdoor fun. I have another older dog that is crate trained if they need to be caged in because of visitors. If a dog is trained well enough to not run off, I do have a wide open backyard they can run around in.
“I was very happy with Brye. She kept me updated on my dogs and spent quality time with them. I will definitely hire her again!! Was very happy with my experience with her!!”

“Lindsay took care of our (cat) babies like they were her own. She took photos of them every time she came to see them, and spent time playing with them as well as feeding and medicating as needed. My cats loved her from the very first introduction. Lindsay is not only an animal lover, she's also a great lady. She surprised us with a list of places and things to try since she knew my husband and I had just moved into the area! We’re definitely looking forward to having her care for our cats in the future.”

“Lily is AMAZING. She takes photos of our pups to reassure us they’re being well taken care for in our absence. She even cleaned up an accident one of our pups made in our bed. She not only cares for our dogs but also the wellbeing of our home. We love her!”

About: I have never lived without an animal in my home as a child or as an adult. Animals are true members of the family. I have volunteered in animal shelters for many years, and still continue to do so. Therefore, I have experience with all ages, including seniors, administering medications and general care and socialization, and more importantly know how to calm and make an animal feel safe and at ease. I will love your pet, send photos, and take as much time as needed to be sure his/her needs are met. I recently resigned from working in a local school district and am now concentrating on volunteering in an animal shelter, an abused women's shelter, writing a book, visiting the gym daily and hopefully having the pleasure of taking care of many animals on Rover! I am presently fostering animals with positive thoughts they will find their forever homes soon! I treat my pets like they are one of the family. They are loved and adored. I recently lost my two cats, litter mates, one at 18 years old and one at 19 1/2 years old. They received had only the best diets, received the best medical care, and got all my attention. They were my babies. I would love to give your pet the best care ever as well!! I hope to get another pet soon in my home, after a bit of healing time.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Auburn. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
