“Jaimie was absolutely fantastic with Madeline! She took care of everything from feedings and litter maintenance to cleaning up unexpected hairball messes. She gave Madeline so much love and sent the best photo updates throughout the stay. I’m so grateful for her attentive care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sweet, reliable pet sitter!”
“Karen did a great job and my little kitties loved her, each being playful. She was patient with my Sophia who is a picky princess. Karen also helped with shutting a forgotten window and cleaning up an unfortunate hairball. I look forward to having her care for my girls again.”

About: My name is Kathryn and I go by Katie, I’m 20 years old I’ll be 21 in July. I live in Derry NH and I can’t wait to help out families who need it! Leaving your fur baby at home can be stressful. Trust me, I love mine so much. But I’m here to make sure there is nothing to stress over and that they are well taken care of. Over the years I’ve cared for many dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities and truly enjoy making pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I used to groom dogs, clip nails, walk dogs for as long as needed, and feed them daily or multiple times a day whatever is needed. Along with any medications they need as well. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets. I can also send update pictures or videos to my clients and make sure they know I’m doing exactly what they asked for! Im a very active person who loves working out so when im not at Pilates or doing school work im free, but im very able to manage my time. Im free all the time this summer may-august mornings and evenings. So just give me a heads up! And I’ll be free on weekends during the months after this summer. My top priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I live in a home away from busy roads, and pets will always be supervised in a safe environment. During walks, I always keep dogs on a leash, clean up after them, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and care. I’ll also follow any specific routines or instructions to make sure your pet feels right at home.

About: Looking for someone to care for your pets as well as you do? I have 15 years of experience caring for animals ranging all different sizes, ages, and health needs. I’ve had animals my whole life from dogs, cats, horses, and exotic birds. I am the designated care giver for my friends’ and family’s pets and wanted to give Rover a try to put those skills to more use. I currently have two cats of my own and will not be accepting to board animals in my home at this time, but am more than happy to care for your furry or feathered friends in their current space and make sure they’re exercised, fed, and not missing you too much while you’re away! My rates are all negotiable, please connect with me directly for pricing questions. I look forward to befriending and caring for your pets and keeping them safe for your return home whether it be from a vacation or just from work. I currently work remotely part time during the week and have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to drive and visit your pets to care for them. Drop in visits typically take about 15-20 minutes, walking or exercising can be 1-2 hours, and sitting can be booked for multiple days. Since I will be only caring for pets in their own homes, my care is fully personalized and customizable to meet your specific needs and requirements. I am comfortable giving medication to pets and am experienced with reactive and emotionally triggered animals.
“Jodie was amazing. Ziggy loved her (he doesn't like anyone); she was dependable, cleaned his box, gave him fresh water and food, and did not leave a spot of a mess. I highly recommend Jodie and plan to use her in the future. Thanks, Jodie!!”

“Heather was wonderful with my cat. We've only lived here for 3 weeks,so she's a bit nervous about people coming in and out of the house. Heather was calm with Teaghan. I got photos and even a follow up after I got home to see if Teaghan ate her food!”

About: I have worked in the pet care industry, specializing in dogs, since 2013. From daycare and boarding to training and behavior modification- from grooming to veterinary care- I have seen it all and worked closely with a wide variety of experts in these fields. For several years, I even owned and ran my own in-home dog training business before deciding to move to the veterinary side- utilizing my years of experience to now help care for the health of people’s beloved dogs- and cats- in as fear free a way as possible. I am very excited to expand to offer walks and nail trims in this format and for the new relationships I will build! I am currently working part-time so I will be looking to fit in walks between my shifts. Currently I am only looking to book walks, drop ins and nail trims. It is always my goal to treat each dog and cat as if it is my own. I focus on being a strong, calm leader for them and providing them with the respect each animal deserves.

“Minnie was great, she came to meet the pups beforehand for an introduction and to get an idea of the pups routine. She was prompt and on time for the scheduled times and interacted great with the pups!”

About: Growing up in a handful of different environments my family had all types of pets. I’ve become educated in caring for a numerous type of animals ranging from reptiles to birds and the common cat and dog. Having my own cats at home I’m very familiar with the typical cat routine and behavior. I also have experience with dog walking and sitting. I’m comfortable with all types of pets. In the past I have had experience with training pets (mostly dogs) and working through behavioral issues, so a temperamental fur baby is not an issue. I also have experience with giving pets medication when needed. I will regularly communicate with you as well as send occasional photos and updates of your fur baby while in my care, ensuring a stress free vacation. I’m currently working part time as a barista but am available to do check-ins and pet sitting as long as overnights. Will gladly take pets for walks throughout the day and as needed. My personal pet is also getting attention throughout the day. He doesn’t have a feeding schedule as he’s more of a grazer but if your pet has a set schedule that is definitely not a problem. If you have a fenced in yard for a dog I’ll gladly let them out and participate in some playtime if they would like that.

Jodie is awesome! She sent pictures of my kitties and updated me with how they were doing each day. One of my cats takes medication twice a day and she made me feel comfortable while away. I knew she sat with him and was patient and made sure he was taken care of.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
