About: I have had cats my entire life, sometimes multiple cats at once. I bought my own cat when I was 10 and did the best I could to care for her. She lived to be over 20 years old. I have cat sat and dog sat for friends and family members. I have training in behavior therapy and understand the importance of positive praise as well as being consistent with demands. I currently work full time as a child and family therapist. However I work from home two days per week. I am also available most weekends when needed. I have grown up with cats my entire life and currently live with two labs and own a cat of my own. She has had some medical issues and it was very important for me to take care of her during this time. I have experience giving her medication of different forms and make sure her litter box is clean. She always has fresh water and many toys (mostly homemade because that’s her favorite) to play with. She also loves to play hide and seek.

Sometimes I plan a small morning hike on the weekend, but I am also happy to bring furry friends along! I have no issues following specialized care plans such as medications, special foods, and specific routines. I try to follow every animal’s pace and body language so they feel comfortable and happy in my care. I am a slower person, so I do great with older or laid back pets, but I am happy to keep up with the more energetic ones as well!
About: I have looked after dogs and cats for my entire life. I have watched dogs of all sizes and multiple pets at a time, including cats and dogs, multiple dogs of different breeds/ sizes, or cats of different sizes and breeds. I can work from home so I can take care of them throughout the day; a lot of attention, walks, medication administration, etc. = happy pets! I stick to the routine and boundaries set by the client. Different dogs require different levels of care and I am experienced with many different types of breeds. I believe we are all animals whom deserve the best quality of life possible, so as long as I am looking after your pet, they will be treated with the respect they deserve!
