“Heather is fantastic! The Meet and Greet gave me and my dog a chance to meet Heather. She was warm and loving toward Lulu (dog) and genuinely interested in what is best for my dog. On the day of the walk Heather was flexible and punctual . I worry about Lulu when I'm away, but felt at ease knowing that Heather was going to do a great job with her. Heather took Lulu to her favorite spots and she was really happy after the walk. I will definitely use Heather again. She is one of the best walkers I've had over the years. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 15. I have taken care of neighbors, family, and close friends' animals. I have experience with a variety of dog breeds and personalities. I have had to administer medication via shots to animals before and feel comfortable in those situations. I plan on going to veterinary school and have a strong interest in animals and making sure they have fun. I am currently working an internship completely online as well as taking an online summer class. I am able to stay anywhere I need to take care of animals. I have not much else that can interfere with me accompanying the animals. I will take the animals on walks and play with them. About: I have had dogs my entire life. Big dogs, small dogs, medium dogs. Usually 2 at a time. Our last dog passed in 2020 at age 11. In November 2022 we adopted a 10 month old blue tick coonhound. Her name is Pickle and she’s the sweetest. She’s super shy and submissive and we haven’t had any issues with her meeting other dogs, but we do want to ensure she is comfortable before booking anything and we require a meet and greet prior to confirming any bookings. When it comes to training, we use positive reinforcement and gentle words. In fact, the last dog I was training we hired a trainer to come in, since it had been a while for me, and the trainer said I was doing a great job and didn't think there needed to be any additional visits, unless I wanted them. I work part time, Tuesday’s and Wednesdays about 4 hours in an office, along with bringing kids to and from school. My work is very flexible and I am able to make changes as necessary. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of toys! We provide positive reinforcement and lots of cuddles! My children are relatively dog savvy, we have a 3, 5 year old, and a 8 year old. The 3 year old absolutely loves animals and will try to snuggle as much as possible.
