About: Hello! For years now I have been taking jobs from friends and family and it has been one of the more rewarding things. Getting to know the animals and their personalities in order to best take care of them is something that I take real pride in. I have always grown up in a house of animals (i even lived on a farm) and so taking care of them is just second nature to me. I currently don’t have any fur babies of my own but between my best friends cats and my boyfriends dogs, I get by just fine :) I have experience in taking care of many different dogs d cat breeds, as well as animals with behavioral issues. Dogs and cats with behavioral issues are not off the table, I love all animals and am willing to give see if it’s a fit. My availability is a little more nuanced than rover allows, please message. I currently work a 9-5 job, and have weekends off.I have full weekends off and am able to do overnights, however on Fridays I can’t make it before 5:45pm. For this reason I do require good communication about the needs of the animals. Weekdays are usually harder for me, but not off the table if the animals don’t require 24/7 attention, I am always open to chatting to see if i can meet your needs, so please feel free to reach out. When watching a pet (especially for the first time) I ask that you write a list for me of what they require daily. I have an ipad with a checklist that I will use to make sure that your pets are getting what they need everyday. I like to keep things organized in order to maintain routine to make sure that they are as comfortable while their owner is away. I am physically able to preform tasks like walks, fetch, general play with cats, and cuddling of course! If house sitting is also required I usually like to keep things tidy to make sure you’re returning to a clean house. Oh and I have a habit of baking so don’t be surprised if you come home to a tray of cookies!

“Roxie was awesome. We had a meet and greet prior to hiring her. At that meeting I found her to be knowledgeable and immediately felt comfortable with her. The day that we actually used her left us not quite "emotional" but a bit nervous as our pup is only 12 weeks and we have yet to leave him anywhere. She texted us photos of our little guy during his stay and totally put our minds at ease. The photos showed our little guy having a FABulous time! I think we were getting a little bummed as he clearly did not seem to be missing us!!! We plan to hire again and would certainly recommend her. For those animals coming to stay with me, I rent a home with my husband and my younger brother which has a separate basement "apartment" and a fenced in backyard. I have 2 cats who stay primarily on the first floor and who are friendly with other cats (I'm unsure if they would be friendly with dogs). If your pet is friendly with cats I can carefully and slowly introduce them, if there are any signs of fear or aggression I will keep them separated and have your pet stay primarily in the basement apartment to keep all animals safe and calm. For animals I am travelling to visit, you can expect that I will take some time to play with them, give them lots of pets if they like to be pet, give them fresh water, feed or give medications, and bring in mail, clean dirty pet dishes, etc. I do everything I can to bond with your pet and create a fun, safe environment for them!

“I always worry that Cheese comes on a little too excited when she first meets people, but Dalyce seemed super prepared. Cheese came in for the meet and greet and after a good sniff laid down to chew on one of the toys she provided for visiting pups. Communication was great and she sent lots of updates and photos.
