About: I've pet sat for friends and family over the years and im excited to expand to help other people! Feel free to reach out to schedule meet and greets beforehand. Im a work from home artist so I make my own schedule. Im available to help the 9-5ers for their peace if mind and take care of your home while you're away. Last minute bookings are ok too! Im extremely clean and punctual. I respect rules and schedules. Your pets safety and happiness is as important as my own pets. Im happy to take something off of your plate to make your day just a bit easier. Im also happy to water plants and whatever small household chores you may need done while you're gone.
“Manessa went above & beyond as always. She took great care of our little senior dog and gave us full updates every visit. We feel very confident when she is doing drop in visits that our dog is well cared for.”

“We haven’t traveled since we got our cats 4 years ago. We finally did an overnight trip and I was beyond stressed. From the moment we first spoke to Lili I knew we made the right choice and I immediately felt at ease. Lili provided the best care for our babies and is so communicative and thoughtful. We will absolutely be reaching out to her in the future and cannot thank her enough for her incredible care, attentiveness and support!!”

“Taylor was great, she gave updates with every visit and had no problems with our somewhat difficult cats. She even managed to win over our shyest cat and had no problems feeding her.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I believe pet care is about much more than feeding, potty breaks, and cuddles—it’s about making sure each pet feels safe, engaged, and comfortable while their family is away. For dogs, I focus on providing both physical exercise and mental enrichment through walks, play, training reinforcement, sniffing opportunities, puzzle games, and activities tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and personality. Whether your dog loves an active adventure or prefers a slower-paced routine, I’ll make sure they receive attentive, individualized care. For cats, I’ve been caring for them since I was 10 years old and have experience with both healthy cats and those with special medical needs. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and providing subcutaneous fluids when needed. I have experience caring for cats with chronic kidney disease and FELV+, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and close observation when caring for pets with medical conditions. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely, provide regular updates and photos, and treat your pets as if they were my own. My goal is simple: to ensure your pets are happy, safe, mentally stimulated, and well cared for so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I am not currently working while I figure out my future path - I have lots of available free time to help care for your pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine to help minimize stress and keep them comfortable while their family is away. I follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions closely and take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality, preferences, and needs. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, enrichment activities, potty breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so I incorporate activities such as sniff walks, training reinforcement, puzzle toys, or interactive play when appropriate. For cats, I ensure litter boxes are kept clean, feeding schedules are maintained, and that they receive the level of interaction they enjoy—whether that’s play sessions, brushing, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship. I am also comfortable administering medications and caring for cats with special medical needs. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own, ensuring it remains clean, secure, and exactly as you left it.
“This is our 2nd time working with Samantha and she has been wonderful. Will continue to ask for help when we meed it. She is prompt, sends updates and pictures. I will recommend to everyone.”

About: I love all animals, from insects to horses and everything in between. I have experience taking care of rats, cats, and dogs to name a few. Your pet's age is also no problem as I have raised kittens and helped very elderly dogs. I have experience with medical and individual needs as well. If you need someone to help get your beloved family member some exercise or company, just let me know! I work remote so I am available anytime before 9 and anytime after 6:30. Occasionally, I am onsite and those days I am unavailable in the mornings and evenings till closer to 7:30 in the evening. Every Sunday I have full availability and same for most Saturdays. Sometimes I plan a small morning hike on the weekend, but I am also happy to bring furry friends along! I have no issues following specialized care plans such as medications, special foods, and specific routines. I try to follow every animal’s pace and body language so they feel comfortable and happy in my care. I am a slower person, so I do great with older or laid back pets, but I am happy to keep up with the more energetic ones as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
