Will care for your parrots, cats, dogs, fish - I have them all and will treat yours with as much love and care as I do mine. House sitting covers basic "away" duties (mail, lights, pet care, delivery acceptance). Pet sitting in my home means fun, treats, separate quarters if needed, and lots of exercise. Dog walking / bird time / fish feeding on your schedule and at your home one day a week or every day all year. Need a few hours away from your dog? I can do that, too! Have considerable experience with horses and barn animals, too, if you need some mucking or exercise/entertainment. Prices listed are my standard fees; I can work with you to suit your budget/needs. Charlene was so incredible to have helping me out – pretty last minute – with my pups and kitty. She communicated wonderfully and adapted to many changes that came up. One of our pups gets extremely anxious and with mommy gone & his brother injured, it was worse than normal. When the dog walks were doing him more harm than good, she pivoted and did some playtime with him at home instead. ❤️ My MIL, who was staying at the house, really raved about her & said how amazing she was with all of them, taking time to really love on all of them every day. I would absolutely ask Charlene to come back!

Charlene was wonderful to book with! I had a last minute cancellation from my usual boarding facility and turned to Rover and found Charlene and I am so happy that I did! She was very communicative through the booking process and during the stay. Sully was very well taken care of and will be using Charlene again in the future! Sends lots of photos and updates for the trip which can certainly alleviate a lot of anxiety. Thank you, Charlene!!
Excellent as always, did a drop in visit for our little girl Peaches, and even left her with a new toy! Always sends videos and pictures and makes us feel very comfortable leaving Peaches in Charlene’s care :)
Our first time using Rover and our dog sitter cancelled last minute (was not very fun). In a panic, Charlene was one of the first few people I reached out to since we already have a booking coming up in August with her. She is a total life saver. Not only did she accept our last minute request, she was also able to push out the dog sitting a little because of our delayed travel plans due to a family emergency. She is so sweet, accommodating, and reliable. She took amazing care of our pups and I'm sure they miss her. She kept us updated with pics and texts on the daily. She made our first experience with Rover so seamless, we cannot thank her enough!

Schedule
I work from home and have the flexibility to accommodate nearly any schedule. Having pets myself, I understand that schedules can be fixed or variable/ad-hoc depending on their needs.

At my home, I have a fenced yard and dedicated space for your furry, finned, or feathered family. While handling your dog outside of the home environment, I am a firm believer in a 2-leash safety strategy.
A typical day
When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like one of the family! During boarding stays, we enjoy daily walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of snuggles on the couch. I keep routines consistent with what your dog is used to—whether that means playtime, quiet time, or special feeding needs. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see how much fun your pet is having while you're away!
