About: For all of my life I have had animals. They bring sheer happiness to my soul. We currently have 3 seniors - 14 yo cat since a kitten, an 11yo small dog adopted in 2025 and a 10 yo dog we rescued when he was 4 months old. I understand how important it is when going away to know your furry friends are in good hands, safe and cared for. Those things make the experience of being away so much more relaxing. That is what I am here for, to help you relax and not worry that your pets are being stressed. Getting to know the unspoken needs and nuances of animals in my care is a main priority. Each of them has their own personality which, when recognized, makes the time together positive experience for all involved. I do work a full-time mainly remote job that offers flexibility to support the needs of animals in my care. While in my care, I am attentive to their needs keeping them on any type of schedule for continuity of care. My yard is partially fenced allowing me to offer a tethered sense of freedom for your dog. About: Hi! Welcome! I’m Amanda — and I’m so excited to share a little bit about myself and my love for animals! I am home 7 days out of the weeks so I can prioritize the fur babies!! First and foremost: your pet will always come first with me. Their comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. And then there are my two cats, Lola and Nala — both sassy, dramatic, and extremely affectionate (especially when food is involved!). One of our dogs can be a little tricky, and I was really nervous to leave her in doggy day care. She's diabetic and also on anti anxiety medication - but Rebecca handled it like it was no big deal, and had her relaxing in the yard in no time. I really appreciated the check in during the day, to let me know how they were doing- and loved how obvious it was that she was paying attention to each of their personalities. Plus - with all the travel, one of my pups had been refusing to poop. Right until we got into Rebecca's house 🫠 but she handled it with such grace and made an awkward moment super easy for us. The day that we actually used her left us not quite "emotional" but a bit nervous as our pup is only 12 weeks and we have yet to leave him anywhere. About: I always loved and had dogs. Until I had a small size dog I have realized that leaving them at home is very heartbreaking. I have a 12year old Maltese girl. I always looked for someone to take care of her when I was not available. Now, I want to be that person for your little precious ones. I can be their companion when you are not available. I can maintain the same standards you provide as much as I can. Little ones have access to my couch, bed, lap as long as they want or I have different types of beddings around my apartment if they feel like being alone. (My dog is very independent, sometimes she prefers sleeping alone.) They won't be alone for a long time. Maybe just a short period of time such as grocery visit, I have a camera at my home so I can monitor how they are doing. Looking forward to meet them soon! ❤️ I’m currently studying and working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pups in my care. We usually have two long walks and one shorter outing each day. On weekends, we enjoy exploring nearby parks and spending extra time outdoors. I have a friendly Maltese who enjoys the company of other dogs. My home is pet-proofed and set up to keep pets safe and comfortable, with crates, cozy pet beds, toys, a home monitor, and access to an outdoor area. I follow each pet’s routine closely and make sure they receive attention, exercise, and a calm environment.

One of our pups gets extremely anxious and with mommy gone & his brother injured, it was worse than normal. When the dog walks were doing him more harm than good, she pivoted and did some playtime with him at home instead. ❤️ My MIL, who was staying at the house, really raved about her & said how amazing she was with all of them, taking time to really love on all of them every day. For those animals coming to stay with me, I rent a home with my husband and my younger brother which has a separate basement "apartment" and a fenced in backyard. I have 2 cats who stay primarily on the first floor and who are friendly with other cats (I'm unsure if they would be friendly with dogs). If your pet is friendly with cats I can carefully and slowly introduce them, if there are any signs of fear or aggression I will keep them separated and have your pet stay primarily in the basement apartment to keep all animals safe and calm. For animals I am travelling to visit, you can expect that I will take some time to play with them, give them lots of pets if they like to be pet, give them fresh water, feed or give medications, and bring in mail, clean dirty pet dishes, etc. I do everything I can to bond with your pet and create a fun, safe environment for them!

She took good care of my dog, and was able to handle her quirks and energy with seeming ease. About: For all of my life I have had animals. They bring sheer happiness to my soul. We currently have 3 seniors - 14 yo cat since a kitten, an 11yo small dog adopted in 2025 and a 10 yo dog we rescued when he was 4 months old. I understand how important it is when going away to know your furry friends are in good hands, safe and cared for. Those things make the experience of being away so much more relaxing. That is what I am here for, to help you relax and not worry that your pets are being stressed. Getting to know the unspoken needs and nuances of animals in my care is a main priority. Each of them has their own personality which, when recognized, makes the time together positive experience for all involved. I do work a full-time mainly remote job that offers flexibility to support the needs of animals in my care. While in my care, I am attentive to their needs keeping them on any type of schedule for continuity of care. My yard is partially fenced allowing me to offer a tethered sense of freedom for your dog. Cuddles, love and walks are absolutely on the menu.
