About: For my entire life, I’ve always lived with dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, hamsters - you name it! - and as such, pet care has always been second nature. Growing up a pet lover, a few years ago I decided that I wanted to start pet sitting, and I have been doing it on and off ever since. Now being home for the summer from college, I would love to find more work in the field. Additionally, I have 4 senior pets at home including 2 senior dogs, so I am very comfortable working with older animals and their needs! I’m currently home from college for the summer, and aside from a few miscellaneous appointments and weekend trips I am available for work weekdays, weekends - whenever I’m needed! I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home (as well as a fish) who each have very specific dietary needs and routines. As such, I am very used to not only following specific instructions and steps to the letter, but also to balancing various pet needs. Additionally, having had many pets in my lifetime and having taken care of various pets for others, I am incredibly familiar with how every pet has different behaviors and care needs. For my own dogs at home, for example, given their age, they do not do well with long, rigorous walks. However, for one of the dogs I have been sitting for on and off for the past 3 years, she is full of energy and is the exact opposite of my senior dogs at home. Overall, even though every pet is different, I make sure that their needs are well met and pay attention to what messages they are sending me with body language and behaviors.

“MaryJane is great! She is very professional, and warm and loving with my dogs. She was very patient with my skittish boy, Scout, who now follows her everywhere and loves giving and getting affection from her. Molly loved her from the get-go. She is clearly experienced with dogs, and also shows good instincts. I say this as a dog trainer of 17 years. She also leaves the house as clean as she found it and sent lovely texts and pix of the dogs when we were away. Highly recommend!”

About: With over 20 years of experience working with a diverse range of dog breeds and small animals, both personally and professionally, I have developed a deep understanding and respect for their unique needs and personalities. I hold a Canine CPR certification from Active Paws, ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets in my care. Throughout my journey, I have cherished the companionship of various breeds, including Pomeranians, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Pekingese, and cats, each leaving a lasting imprint on my heart. Currently, I share my home with a spirited Miniature Pinscher named Stanley Luke. They go with me almost every where. With dedication and compassion, I offer in-home pet care, including feeding and walking services for dogs and cats, providing them with the attention and care they deserve. A structured daily pet care routine includes regular feeding, exercise, grooming, and playtime to ensure your pet stays healthy and happy. Consistent walks, bathroom breaks, and interactive activities help provide mental and physical stimulation, while quiet time and affection build trust and comfort. With me, your pet will be safe, happy, and well cared for. I strive to ensure that every animal feels loved and has fun in my care. For references or inquiries, please contact Chanleysk9kreation.
