“Alina has been walking my dog Cooper for 10 months now (time flies apparently) on a consistent schedule. She’s great to work with and if there are scheduling issues she always gives fair notice. Phenomenal person to work with!”

“Julia is amazing! She was able to help me out with my dog last second and even dug through snow to find my key! She did everything I asked without issue, and made a stressful situation for me so much easier! Highly recommend!!”

About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my family. My husband and I currently have three rescue dogs. I am patient & kind, but firm—qualities I developed over 24 years as a first-grade teacher. I respect that everyone (people and animals) has unique qualities and needs. When friends and family go away, I always care for their dogs. I work part-time, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Whether your pets need walks, playtime, feedings, or overnight care, I'm here for you. My three dogs have the run of the house, but they don't like to share, so I will come to your home to care for your fur baby.
“Karein is absolutely the best! She is thoughtful and caring and goes out of her way to make sure your fur baby is happy and well cared for! We are so thankful to have her support!”

“I highly recommend Guillermo! He is always punctual, extremely reliable, and genuinely caring towards our lovely Mylo. His passion for animals is evident, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing our dog is in such good hands. Each walk is followed by a thoughtful update with pictures, which we greatly appreciate !!!”

“We had a very positive experience with Jupiter walking our greyhounds! Communication was prompt and easy, and Jupiter was even able to add an additional walk day last minute. We greatly appreciate the care provided and would use walking services again in the future!”

“After our first week with Jamie, we can confidently say we are thrilled to have her! She is so attentive to our pup and we feel good knowing she’s in such good hands.”
About: I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I am a proud pitbull mom, to two senior dogs Brewza (13) and Koda (11) who we have loved and cared for since they were 8 weeks old. I have experience in dealing with dogs with health issues, or post surgical procedures, as well as puppy training and elderly dog care. I am also comfortable giving medications if needed and specified by a veterinarian. I am available weekdays while my kids are at school, between the hours of 9am and 2pm I am available for regular walks, and drop in visits. And transportation if needed. I have a fenced in yard, as well as harness and leashes. We have practiced crate training with our dogs, and now as seniors they still use it on their own as their safe space.
About: Since I was a kid I was surrounded by animals! At 7 years old I was given then responsibility to take care of my own life long best friend I named Sandy, who grew up with me for 15 years until 2021. Throughout the time and especially after I have always jumped at the opportunity to take care of my friends and family’s pets! Some of my favorites are my older sister’s three energetic pups: Benjamin, Buttons and Bleu who love to run in the yard and play ALL day! I also love taking care of my other sister’s two cats: Lulu and Phoebe who enjoy a quiet night in full of cuddles and head scratches! I also spend a lot of time dog sitting my best friend’s 1 year old Boxer who is full of energy and loves treats! In the summer of 2023 we went on daily walks around the neighborhood and on special occasions we would go on Starbucks Pup-cup runs which she loved! Overall, I’ve been around dogs and cats of all ages and have had a lot of fun throughout it! Pet care fits into my schedule since I work remotely the majority of the week! I am also a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst which allows me to have a lot of flexibility with my class schedule! I have my own apartment which is quiet and pet friendly! I especially have tons of time on the weekend to take care of pets for a longer duration of time! I live at an apartment which is 100% pet friendly. It is surrounded by many side streets which are great for going on long walks and exploring the area. My apartment is quiet and has space for a crate if needed. I own pet bowls, dog and cat toys, and can be easily puppy or kitty proofed if need be!!
About: My family loves animals, especially dogs. We are dedicated to making your dog feel at home while you’re busy. We will always treat your dog with love, compassion and respect. I love puppies but they must be house trained. My wife and I both work from home. I am self employed so I make my own hours and that allows me to provide exceptional care to your dog. We have a 2 year old French bull dog who is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs.Because I am an animal lover and giving back is so important to me I WILL DONATE 5% of my earnings to The MSPCA! I have a fenced in yard and we live on a quiet dead end street. The park is 2 minutes from our home and we go there often to allow our dog to play.I never have more than 3 dogs in my house at once which allows me to give your dog my undivided attention and love. Your dog will always be safe, happy and very well cared for.
About: I've been a devoted pet parent for 15 years, caring for cats, dogs, and even fish! Whether your pet has paws, fins, or special needs, I bring patience, experience, and plenty of love to every visit. I believe every pet deserves a clean, safe space and the kind of attention that makes tails wag and purrs rumble. Your fur (or fin) baby will be in good hands! I'm a freelancer with daytime availability and a flexible schedule, perfect for when your pet needs midday walks, feeding, or just some company while you're at work. And if you're traveling, I can provide consistent care and check-ins to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible. My schedule allows me to be there when your pet needs me most! My own cat is treated like my child—regular feeding schedules, a spotless living space, enrichment, and lots of affection. For clients, I extend that same standard of care. In your home, I maintain your pet's established routines, keep their areas clean, and provide updates so you have peace of mind. In my home, pets are welcomed into a safe, clean environment where they're treated like family. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priorities.
About: I grew up with many pets (cats, dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, birds...) and cared for neighbors pets and have been professionally caring for pets the past 3 years but new to Rover. I work as a music teacher afternoons (3:00-6:00/7:00/8:00) during the week (except Fridays). I am also available weekends. I can care for your pet in your home while you're away. I can administer some medications like pills and eye drops if your pet requires them
About: No matter what I do, I can't stop taking care of other creatures! In my profession I am a psychotherapist to humans, and in my downtime I am a playmate to animals. I love nature almost as much as your dog does, and I would be honored to take your pups to the nearby conservation land, body of water, or around your very own neighborhood. I have the perfect mix of enthusiastic readiness to play and the calmer energy required to wind everyone down when needed. I work at my desk job part-time over the summer (2x weekly) and create my own schedule. I am extremely flexible and happy to work with you to create a schedule that works for both of us! I am open to caring for pets in your home, neighborhood, and the surrounding area! I have a car with a large cabin, and am able to transport your pet for further away adventures if desired. At your home, I am happy to provide feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication administration, basic grooming / baths, and of course, lots of playtime!
About: I’ve cared for friend’s pets while they’re away. From single dogs to multiple cat and dog siblings. My small apartment doesn’t allow me to have my own so I am only available to care for your pets at your home. I work part time seasonally out of the home (Nov. - Jan) so if they cannot be left alone for a few hours I unfortunately would not be able to accommodate. From November to January, I work a few days a week 5 to 8 hours away from the home. Shifts vary from mornings to evenings. I currently cannot care for pets in my own home but I do drive so I have dependable transportation to and from your home .
“Bethany was great with our dog! She came and walked her while we were away and she was patient and accommodating with our shy girl. I loved getting her updates and pictures! Highly recommended!”

Pinehurst dog parents share their Rover experiences
Guillermo took our 5 month puppy Maple out for their first walk today, he’s taken time to get to know her, understand her needs and has had great communication from first contact! Looking forward to their bond grow stronger as they get to hang out more times :) thank you!!

Wen Shin was amazing with our two dogs, Ginkgo and Peanut. They are very anxious and have limited experience with strangers. As an overprotective dog parent, she took all my concerns very seriously and was able to accommodate all my requests to make me trust that my dogs were in good hands. They feel comfortable with her and even are sad to see her go once the walk is over! She is now our go-to dog walker or sitter for whenever we might need one. Highly recommended!
