“I hesitate to write this review not because James isn’t the absolute DREAM sitter (spoiler alert, he is) but because I’m worried when I tell you all how fantastic he is, he will be too busy for us to book him again! James has an incredible connection with animals. Our dog is very particular and honestly dislikes most people upon first meeting them but he took to James right away. James spoiled him in the best ways while we were out of town and truly treated him like he was his own. We got the most darling photo and videos updates as well as detailed texts. On top of that, we were so comfortable having him stay at our home. He was respectful and thoughtful and went above and beyond to leave our place somehow even better than we left it. Karein stayed in our home while we were away. She was fantastic. She asked lots of good questions, confirmed arrangements, sent lots of photos and videos, and took great care of our dog. And, we came home to a beautifully clean home. I look forward to having her stay with our dog again.
Sarah took wonderful care of our 9-year-old Sheltie for three nights. He isn't the easiest dog to care for—he's on a special diet, takes several medications and supplements, and has arthritis, which makes stairs and long walks difficult. Sarah handled all of his needs with patience, kindness, and attention to detail. To make things even more challenging, our dog can be a bit standoffish with new people. Sarah was incredibly sweet and patient with him, and before long she had completely won him over. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. She texted us with photos and comments on what they were doing each day. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and a spotless house. We wouldn't hesitate to trust Sarah with him again and in fact have rebooked another house sitting with her. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, compassionate pet sitter.
Mary was very kind and accommodating to our senior dog Ellie who doesn't get along with other pets. She made her feel right at home and looked after her over the holidays.
