“I highly recommend Guillermo! He is always punctual, extremely reliable, and genuinely caring towards our lovely Mylo. His passion for animals is evident, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing our dog is in such good hands. About: Since I was a kid I was surrounded by animals! At 7 years old I was given then responsibility to take care of my own life long best friend I named Sandy, who grew up with me for 15 years until 2021. Throughout the time and especially after I have always jumped at the opportunity to take care of my friends and family’s pets! Some of my favorites are my older sister’s three energetic pups: Benjamin, Buttons and Bleu who love to run in the yard and play ALL day! I also love taking care of my other sister’s two cats: Lulu and Phoebe who enjoy a quiet night in full of cuddles and head scratches! I also spend a lot of time dog sitting my best friend’s 1 year old Boxer who is full of energy and loves treats! In the summer of 2023 we went on daily walks around the neighborhood and on special occasions we would go on Starbucks Pup-cup runs which she loved! Overall, I’ve been around dogs and cats of all ages and have had a lot of fun throughout it! Pet care fits into my schedule since I work remotely the majority of the week! I am also a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst which allows me to have a lot of flexibility with my class schedule! I have my own apartment which is quiet and pet friendly! I especially have tons of time on the weekend to take care of pets for a longer duration of time! I live at an apartment which is 100% pet friendly. It is surrounded by many side streets which are great for going on long walks and exploring the area. My apartment is quiet and has space for a crate if needed. I own pet bowls, dog and cat toys, and can be easily puppy or kitty proofed if need be!!
“Emily is a fantastic, wonderfully caring dog walker / pet care taker. We use her services for daily weekday walks for both of our dogs which have very different needs ( a 14 yr old golden doodle with mobility issues and a 10 yr old lab that still thinks she's 3 yr old spring chicken). She has also house sat over a navigation for us so that they didn't have to go into a kennel. She is trustworthy, communicative and extremely kind. You'd be fortunate to have her services.”

“Amy has been our dog walker for well over a year now! Amy continuously walked both of our goldens twice a week, sometimes more! I am always pleased with Amy’s services and care she has for my dogs. She is always on time, answers my texts immediately, and is very flexible (especially when I add in last minute walks). After my first golden passed away, Amy made sure our other golden pup was taken care of. We kept his same routine and she gave him all the attention and love he needed during such a tough time for us all. Shortly after, family had gained two more golden girl pups! A huge handful if you ask me but Amy didn’t skip a beat. Now she has had all of our goldens at every stage and they love when they see her!!! I continue to use Amy’s services because she is the best around!”

“We had a very positive experience with Jupiter walking our greyhounds! Communication was prompt and easy, and Jupiter was even able to add an additional walk day last minute. We greatly appreciate the care provided and would use walking services again in the future!”

About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my family. My husband and I currently have three rescue dogs. I am patient & kind, but firm—qualities I developed over 24 years as a first-grade teacher. I respect that everyone (people and animals) has unique qualities and needs. When friends and family go away, I always care for their dogs. I work part-time, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Whether your pets need walks, playtime, feedings, or overnight care, I'm here for you. My three dogs have the run of the house, but they don't like to share, so I will come to your home to care for your fur baby.
About: I grew up with many pets (cats, dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, birds...) and cared for neighbors pets and have been professionally caring for pets the past 3 years but new to Rover. I work as a music teacher afternoons (3:00-6:00/7:00/8:00) during the week (except Fridays). I am also available weekends. I can care for your pet in your home while you're away. I can administer some medications like pills and eye drops if your pet requires them
“Karein is lovely! Finn and I feel lucky to have found her. I so appreciate that she’s up for taking Finn on trail walks, and I know Finn is getting lots of loves and fun when they’re together. Karein is super communicative and reliable, sharing lots of pics from their walks together - which I love! I’d definitely recommend her!”

About: No matter what I do, I can't stop taking care of other creatures! In my profession I am a psychotherapist to humans, and in my downtime I am a playmate to animals. I love nature almost as much as your dog does, and I would be honored to take your pups to the nearby conservation land, body of water, or around your very own neighborhood. I have the perfect mix of enthusiastic readiness to play and the calmer energy required to wind everyone down when needed. I work at my desk job part-time over the summer (2x weekly) and create my own schedule. I am extremely flexible and happy to work with you to create a schedule that works for both of us! I am open to caring for pets in your home, neighborhood, and the surrounding area! I have a car with a large cabin, and am able to transport your pet for further away adventures if desired. At your home, I am happy to provide feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication administration, basic grooming / baths, and of course, lots of playtime!

I have in the past watched multiple dogs for weeks at a time as there owners were away. I have also been l’art of a puppy training class for both dogs where I have learned de-escalation techniques and ways to help the dogs in public. I am a full time college student from most of the year so I am looking for work just in the summer the months. Primarily the opportunity to work during the weekdays. At home my dogs are bothe crate trained while we are out of the house. When it is time to go out side with them both are trained to go on walks and run around in our large backyard freely. We also use commands to guide our dogs.

About: Hi! I’m Mary Evelyn! I am a full-time preschool teacher with summers off. I love to care for other people‘s pets and put families at ease while they enjoy their summer. I grew up in a house full of pets. We had two dogs, a cat, two ferrets, two parakeets, and a rabbit. Unfortunately, my husband is allergic and we can’t have a pet full-time in our house. To fill that void, I spend my summers loving on your fur babies! My children, 10 and 12, are also animal lovers and often are with me caring for the animals. I am a loving and gentle nurturer. I treat your pets just like my own. This is not just a job for me. This is a choice to keep animals in my life because I know the joy they bring. I love to provide owners with pictures and updates, as many as you want and need. I’m also happy to take care of anything at the house that needs tending – mail, plants, cleaning, etc. I look forward to connecting with you! I have full availability over the summer and I am willing to accommodate any kind of schedule. During the fall and winter, my availability is limited to evenings and weekends. My preference is to care for your pet in your home. My kids (12 and 10) sometimes accompany me, as they also love to care for animals and are learning how to be productive and responsible. If you prefer I solely care for your animals, that is completely fine. I always defer to the client and their pet's needs. If I'm providing boarding in my home, the animal will be restricted to our first floor. I do not have a fenced in yard, so I would provide frequent walks throughout the day.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for a diverse range of animals, from dogs and cats to small pets like rabbits, lizards, and ferrets. This is my full time passion, My schedule allows me to accommodate pet care into my daily routine, ensuring your furry friend receives regular attention, exercise, and playtime. I'd be happy to take them on fun outings to parks and other pet-friendly areas, helping them burn off energy and socialize I'll provide top notch care for your pet in the comfort of your own home or mine, depending on the service you choose. With my fenced in yard, your pet can safely enjoy fresh air and exercise. I'll treat your pet with the same love, care, and attention I give my own, ensuring their physical and emotional well being. I needed a last minute sitter and Min really went above and beyond to take care of my dog despite the extremely cold weather and how difficult it is to get to my house because of the snow. She is so trustworthy and is so kind to my dog. I highly recommend Min she is the best of the best!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
