About: Hi! I am an experienced pet owner (cats, dogs, and one mouse). I’ve also worked part time as a dog walker and pet sitter for dogs and cats at various points over the last 15 years, establishing great relationships with my clients who used my services on a regular basis. Years ago I helped care for my roommate’s adorable Cocker Spaniel, feeding him, playing with him, leash training/walking him, and administering medication. I also have experience caring for and walking larger dogs, like golden retrievers, labs (including a puppy), and labradoodles. As for other pets, I had a pet mouse from babyhood to the ripe old age of 5. Currently I have one floofy, goofy orange cat, who I trained to fetch, sit, and lay down. He’s very dog-like and never leaves my side. I want nothing more than to help your pet feel safe and comfortable while you are away! Right now my schedule is very flexible. I can do most days and times between Monday and Saturday, house sitting, check ins, or dog walking. I will care for your home and neighborhood as if it were my own, respecting your property and the property of others. I am careful to follow all instructions you provide to ensure your pet is well taken care of when I visit. When visiting a client’s home, I make sure pets have what they need (fresh water, fed on time, clean litterbox, potty breaks and walks). As a pet owner myself, I appreciate when pet sitters spend time with my pet in addition to providing for my pet’s basic needs, so if you would like me to visit with them and play with them in addition to other responsibilities, sign me up!

“Kay did an excellent job caring for our dog Sharry. We have hired Kay several times in the past. Definitely recommend using her.”

“So caring and attentive!”

“Christy was amazing. She kept her commitment to walk my dog after having a chaotic morning herself. She then proceeded to take my dog for a walk on a rainy day. My dog was happy and I can tell Christy enjoys her job as well. I’ll be booking Christy from now on for dog walks and I feel confident my dogs will be happy at the end of their walks. Thanks Christy!”

About: Not only do I love animals (no matter the type), I have never lived a day without one! I have owned cats, dogs, reptiles, even guinea pigs. Not only do I have experience living with animals, I have dog and cat sit for eight years for a big dog along with living with a small dog and cat. Additionally, I worked for Mass Vet Referral Hospital for two years as a client care specialist, so I have experience dealing with animal emergencies and giving medicine to pets. My patience and love for animals will leave you feeling at peace while away from your babies! I work from home completely and am mobile as I have my own car. Therefore, I am very flexible throughout the day! This also allows me the flexibility of being able to stay at a house for longer periods of time if needed as I am still able to work from other homes. I understand that all pets have their own boundaries. As long as I am aware of any ahead of time, I am more than happy to give any of your babies the space they need to be stress free while still being given the care needed to get through the day. This also applies to those who need more attention than most and love attention!

About: My family has always had at least one cat or dog, so I have grown up with these wonderful animals as well as learned how to care for them with walking, feeding, cleaning, playing, etc. I am familiar with the body language of dogs and cats and want to provide a fun and safe experience for them while taking into account their unique temperaments and personalities. I treat every dog and cat like the beloved family member that I know they are. I am currently on summer break from college, so I have a lot of availability! I would love to fill my time by getting to know your pet(s). I will treat your pets and your home with the utmost respect. I want to be an asset that will unobtrusively care for your animals in and outside your home. I know and honor how important every animal is in their family's life.

“The BEST! Karen takes our Gracie for walks and cares for our three cats when we go away💖”

About: I am a dog lover who has dogs my whole adult life. I have many friends and neighbors with dogs of all sizes that I have spent time with and babysat as needed! I am an elementary teacher with availability on weekends and during the summer I have much greater daily availability. I have a 5 year old friendly and submissive lab mix. Our house is like a home away from home for visiting pets!! I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly 5 year old lab mix who is always looking to meet and welcome new friends. I am an avid walker and used to walking 2 dogs at time.

About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off for a couple years now, I’ve had dogs of varying ages and sizes and support needs as a part of my household throughout my life. My family volunteers with Big Wave Dog Rescue together. I’m currently working part time and saving up for a car, but since I work mostly evenings only 4-6 hour shifts, pet sitting and overnight stays are perfect for me. I have a big yard with two pups, a 3 year old pittie boxer mix and a 2 year old pittie chihuahua mix. Both of them are rescues, and the older one has some trauma from before he was rescued and requires some special care. I feed them rehydrated kibble and try to get raw/natural toppers where I can, even if it’s just a quail egg.

“Rose did a great job with Mia-Bella!”

About: Hello! I am new to Rover ❤️. I have had experience looking after puppies all the way down to senior dogs. I am experienced in administering medication, such as topical medications (ointments, sprays). I am well-versed in walking dogs and potty breaks. I enjoy walking as exercise in my free time, so it’s a huge plus for me if I get to take a dog with me! It’ll be lots of fun! I am able to carefully follow instructions. For example, if you want to give me a binder of detailed information (list of emergency contacts, veterinarian information, etc.) regarding your dog’s needs and daily routine, I would be glad to read through it. Got a portfolio for me to read? Sure! A guide on your dog? I will study it. A list? I'd be glad to have it. We can meet beforehand or communicate any time before the scheduled day to get an idea of what you want to achieve from me pet sitting your dog. I am also a nanny/babysitter (going on 8 years now!) and work part-time, so I am well-versed in customer service, dealing with the public, care-taking, and providing aid in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. I intend to go back to school eventually to further my education. I am aiming to join the medical field one day. I enjoy talking to people and making others happy. I would love to give back to the community I was born and raised in and this is my way of doing so. If I can help you in any way I can, I would be happy to. I understand pet parents love and treat their pets like they are their own children, so I will deliver the utmost care and attention. I believe in doing the best job you can do and doing hard work goes a long way. Having excellent work ethic is crucial to success. At the end of the day, I want to be proud of the work that I accomplish. I am very punctual and reliable to arrive on time to the location (or even early). I am also skilled at organization/cleanliness/light housekeeping, so if you need help cleaning up after your dog, I am your girl. I am very skilled at note-taking. I can provide detailed, coherent/clear and neat written notes for you to keep you updated, as well as pictures to show your doggo is doing well. If you need additional help, such as bringing in your delivered packages into the house, small mail, quick watering of a plant, or anything else you are comfortable with me handling, let me know! About: I grew up taking care of dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities and can give your pet the same loving attention I give my own. Whether a newborn or a senior, I understand your pets' needs and make sure they are happy, healthy and safe. I'm currently retired and have an open schedule all week and most weekends. I'm flexible and open to discussing all types of short term and long term commitments. I'm happy to sit, feed, walk, and play with your pet in my home, or stop by your home to feed or walk your pet. I'm also open to discussing other services your pet may need.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and have been taking care of friends and family’s pets for over a decade. A close friend has two dogs, two cats, two rabbits, and a bird who I’ve taken care of alone on multiple occasions, so I’d say I’m suited for anything. I’m a lover of all animals! I have been volunteering with Operation Delta Dog since its inception over a decade ago, so my professional experience with dogs is well above average. I will likely be working part-time over the summer, but I can still be available for long-term stays with enough advance notice. Short term visits should be no issue any day of the week. I am very experienced working with both dogs and cats, though I have more experience with dogs. I can handle multiple pets at once with no issue and take the safety of pets very seriously.

“Lexi did a great job walking my two pups, she sent photos and took great care of them! She was cognizant of the heat and reached out since it was too hot to walk the dogs for a long time! Really appreciate the amazing care she too!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and right now I have four family dogs at home. I have worked as a dog walker and have made wonderful connections with both the pups and families who used my services. I have experience caring for dogs with anxiety and special needs as well as experience administering medication. A few years ago I rescued a senior yorkie with neurologic issues. He taught me a lot about how to care for animals who require a strict routine of medication in order to stay healthy. I also have experience caring for and walking bigger dogs like golden doodles and pitbull mixes. Two of my dogs we got as puppies and two are rescues so I have experience with dogs who come from all different kinds of backgrounds. If you know me then you know I love dogs and I would love to give your dogs the loving care they deserve while you are away! Caring for pets is my full time priority. My schedule is flexible and I currently have availability in the months of June, July and August. I can do house sitting, check ins and dog walking. My dogs at home are my babies and I will care for your pets as if they were my own. I will take care of your property and neighborhood with care and respect. Your pet's instructions will be followed very carefully and will be done well. Animals require a lot of love and I will be sure to give your pets what they need and when they need it. Spending time with your pets whether its going on walks or just hanging out on the couch is important to me so if you are looking for someone to look after your pets, let me know!

“Julie is the best! We have a Goldendoodle and she gets along so well with Julie’s dog, Maggie. They are besties and love to play. Julie loves going on long walks with Maggie and takes such good care of her. She has great instincts and knows when dogs are getting along, when they’re uncomfortable in different situations, or when they’re scared and knows how to react accordingly. I couldn’t recommend Julie more for your pet!”

Ava L.
“Ava cared for my dog and cats while I was away for a few days. I was quite nervous about leaving my pets as I don’t travel often, but Ava did a wonderful job and allowed me to have a worry free trip. Ava sent many updates throughout the trip and was very responsive to my replies. Ava was always very transparent and honest about how the stay was going. I know my pets can be a handful with their feeding schedules and demands that their routines not be interrupted, which is why I was nervous about leaving them, but Ava did a great job respecting their schedules and needs. My dog and cats were all in great spirits when I returned.”

Geoffrey and Leroy have been such a great fit for my dog, Wayne. Geoffrey is responsive, respectful, reliable, and made sure to take the time to get to know Wayne before taking on the assignment.
