About: I have owned or cared for 4 legged friends for most of my life. Family and friends have had me care for their pets since I was about 12, but owning my own really made me love them. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes, but I have a special place in my heart for larger breed dogs and orange cats. I would love to help reinforce your dogs training, encourage socialization and exercise in settings such as the dog park, neighborhood walks, and stores, and am passionate that animals are part of a family. I am comfortable feeding both dogs and cats, and have experience medicating both. I'm a stay at home mom with a kiddo who is in elementary school, so my schedule tends to be flexible depending on the day and school schedules. Please be aware that if a visit or walk is scheduled on a day that there is no school, (such as a holiday or vacation), or a time that school is not in session (half days, weekends, or after school hours) my daughter may join me. I love going for walks and exploring new areas, but can also happily cuddle a furry friend. I am able to feed, pick up after, and care for animals with confidence. I am comfortable taking instruction and will do my absolute best to make sure that you are happy with my visit with your furry family member. I don't worry about bigger dogs, they're just more to love! Meeting a new dog prior to the first visit is a requirement for my services.

About: Hi! I am an experienced pet owner (cats, dogs, and one mouse). I’ve also worked part time as a dog walker and pet sitter for dogs and cats at various points over the last 15 years, establishing great relationships with my clients who used my services on a regular basis. Years ago I helped care for my roommate’s adorable Cocker Spaniel, feeding him, playing with him, leash training/walking him, and administering medication. I also have experience caring for and walking larger dogs, like golden retrievers, labs (including a puppy), and labradoodles. As for other pets, I had a pet mouse from babyhood to the ripe old age of 5. Currently I have one floofy, goofy orange cat, who I trained to fetch, sit, and lay down. He’s very dog-like and never leaves my side. I want nothing more than to help your pet feel safe and comfortable while you are away! Right now my schedule is very flexible. I can do most days and times between Monday and Saturday, house sitting, check ins, or dog walking. I will care for your home and neighborhood as if it were my own, respecting your property and the property of others. I am careful to follow all instructions you provide to ensure your pet is well taken care of when I visit. When visiting a client’s home, I make sure pets have what they need (fresh water, fed on time, clean litterbox, potty breaks and walks). As a pet owner myself, I appreciate when pet sitters spend time with my pet in addition to providing for my pet’s basic needs, so if you would like me to visit with them and play with them in addition to other responsibilities, sign me up!

“Lisa was very attentive to our kitties while we were away. She sent us lots of pictures every day and reported any concerns immediately. The schedule was kept every day without exception and all reports were sent in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Lisa as a sitter and would hire her again myself.”

“Ashley really treated my cats like they were her own. She checked in with me during every visit and genuinely seemed to enjoy taking care of them. I recieved so many photos and videos while I was away! One of my cats tends to be shy, but he played with Ashley with no issues. She also took the time to do some light cleaning (vacuuming litter area and taking out trash) while I was gone. Definitely recommend!”

“I highly recommend Kay for watching your pet. Kay was prompt with the appointments I scheduled and sent me pictures during the day she watched our dog. I look forward to being a repeat customer of Kay’s, thank you Kay for taking care of Jenny for us.”

“Christy was very invested in taking good care of my geriatric newfy. I felt very comfortable knowing Tilly was In such good hands. Thank you Christy”

About: I am a dog lover who has dogs my whole adult life. I have many friends and neighbors with dogs of all sizes that I have spent time with and babysat as needed! I am an elementary teacher with availability on weekends now, but during the summer, I have much greater daily availability. I have a 5 year old friendly and submissive lab mix. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly 5 year old lab mix who is always looking to meet and welcome new friends. I am an avid walker and used to walking 2 dogs at time.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and personalities and can give your pet the same loving attention I give my own. Whether a newborn or a senior, I understand your pets' needs and make sure they are happy, healthy and safe. I'm currently retired and have an open schedule all week and most weekends. I'm flexible and open to discussing all types of short term and long term commitments. I'm happy to sit, feed, walk, and play with your pet in my home, or stop by your home to feed or walk your pet. I'm also open to discussing other services your pet may need.

About: Howdy, fur-families! With 15+ years of experience, my approach is personalized for each client: I work closely with you to ensure your pet's daily routine and comfort are prioritized, and I’ll go the extra mile for the special attention or care needed for different pets. It's my utmost goal to ensure that your pets feel safe and pampered while you are away. Let’s work together! I currently work at a dog daycare in Chelmsford from 7am-1pm, focusing on drop-ins and occasional walking after my shift. My schedule is highly flexible, available M-F after 1:30pm and weekends holidays from 8am-8pm. Happy to coordinate and adjust to your needs as well1 When caring for your four-legged family members, I prioritize working closely with you to understand their routines, personalities, needs, and preferences. I pay close attention to details to ensure that your pets maintain their normalcy and comfort while you’re away. During my visits, I prioritize the safety and security of both your pets and home, checking doors and windows upon arrival and departure to create a secure environment. I follow your house rules and cleaning preferences, while also addressing any specific needs your pet might have. Maintaining open communication is crucial to me, so I regularly provide updates with photos or notes about your beloved pets. My goal is to always ensure that each pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared-for while you’re away.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and have been taking care of friends and family’s pets for over a decade. A close friend has two dogs, two cats, two rabbits, and a bird who I’ve taken care of alone on multiple occasions, so I’d say I’m suited for anything. I’m a lover of all animals! I have been volunteering with Operation Delta Dog since its inception over a decade ago, so my professional experience with dogs is well above average. I will likely be working part-time over the summer, but I can still be available for long-term stays with enough advance notice. Short term visits should be no issue any day of the week. I am very experienced working with both dogs and cats, though I have more experience with dogs. I can handle multiple pets at once with no issue and take the safety of pets very seriously.

“Jessica took care of my two dogs recently. She was always on time and had great communication. The dogs were well looked after and happy. I will definitely be using Jessica again.”

11. Melanie B.
“Mel is an absolutely fantastic and conscientious pet caregiver. She has an innate understanding of animal behavior and knows how to respect them, while also providing necessary boundaries. She's well versed in caring for special grooming, behavioral, and dietary needs. She has cared for all my cats many times, many of whom had special needs. She gave my dear little Clam Sauce (orange boy) his insulin shots with love and great care. My roommate's dog was very temperamental and prone to biting, but he was always safe, comfortable, and happy around her. The first time my cat LuLu ever met her, she crawled up on her and slept on her chest several nights in a row (and she doesn't do that to me!). Most of all, Mel is an excellent pet caregiver because she loves and appreciates animals for who they are. She adapts to their individual needs and character and treats them with care. If I got hit by a bus tomorrow, she's the person I'd want to adopt my babies. I'm sure you'll feel the same way.”

“Julie is the best! We have a Goldendoodle and she gets along so well with Julie’s dog, Maggie. They are besties and love to play. Julie loves going on long walks with Maggie and takes such good care of her. She has great instincts and knows when dogs are getting along, when they’re uncomfortable in different situations, or when they’re scared and knows how to react accordingly. I couldn’t recommend Julie more for your pet!”
