“Rilee was nothing short of exceptional in the care she gave our elderly cat. Rilee was kind and warm, easy to talk to, and truly cared. Our cat has a complex medication regimen that includes oral medication twice a day. Rilee handled this with confidence and was able to put our cat at ease and get all of his medications in. We highly recommend her!”

“We had a great experience with Annette! She took the time to come beforehand and learn our guinea pigs’ routine, which we really appreciated. She was reliable, attentive, and took great care of them while we were away. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Makayla is a cat whisperer. Lex and Luthor are normally so scared of strangers. At our meet and greet Lex and Luthor came right out and made themselves comfortable. I was so surprised! We got updates and the cutest pictures during our vacation. I was so pleased that I could enjoy my vacation knowing Makayla was taking care of my little boys. It was our pleasure working with her and will use her again in the future. If you are looking for the best, look no further!”

About: Hi there! I'm Devika and I identify as a certified dog aunt to all pups in the land. In all seriousness, I feel very attuned to dogs, including those with unique, diverse temperaments and needs. I grew up with a family dog, a shih-tzu named Leo, who passed away after a beautiful 14 years. After graduating, I didn't have the resources to commit to a full-time dog as much as I love them. There began my fostering journey during which I cared for 10+ dogs (varied breeds, sizes, and ages), anywhere from a few days to several months. During their time with me as their foster mom, these pups were able to begin acclimating to domestic life and working towards getting ready for their forever homes. Each foster experience was so special and I learned something new from each pup. That curiosity and attentive care is what I bring to dog care. Outside of my endless love for pups, I am a clinical psychology doctoral student which brings a whole other facet to my dog care. With my background in trauma, anxiety, and behavioral interventions, I also bring an astute and knowledgeable eye to caring for animals. This includes trauma-informed care (no restraints unless absolutely necessary for safety), thoughtful approaching, and gently authoritative training (only if indicated). Importantly, I completely respect the autonomy of pet-owners in how they want to raise and care for their pet, and will carry out duties with utmost care and diligence. My top priority is for your pet to feel safe and loved, and for you to have peace of mind while you leave your baby in my care. Please reach out with any questions and I'd love to connect more! I am available on weeknights and weekends to for dog-walking, drop ins, and house sitting. I can dedicate my time to providing your animal with utmost care. I live close to Beaver Brook Reservation and am also able to go to more secluded areas if your dog is sensitive or has other needs. I provide updates during your pup's time with me and am a strong communicator about scheduling. I care for pets in a safe, thoughtful, and generous way. I am able to adapt to the dog's needs, and am happy to accommodate to the level of care you prefer and need. I am so excited to meet you and your pup!
About: My husband and I adopted our dog Mac when he was 8 months. We trained him how to be less reactive, not to bite, sit, potty training and how to come on command. Additionally, I dog sit for my friend that has a golden retriever and my sister-in-law that has a pit-mix. I’ve always loved dogs but having one of my own really opened my eyes to how amazing dogs are! I work Monday-Friday at Boston Children’s Hospital, but I am available after 6:30 PM most weekdays. I have full availability on the weekends day and night. I’m happy to help with walks and drop-ins. I truly believe that pets are an integral part to a family! My dog is the center of my world and I always try to include him on my plans whenever possible. I like to take Mac out for hikes, the beach and any dog friendly patio! We live in an updated apartment in Waltham with a fenced in yard. When I walk Mac, I wear a leash that wraps around my waist and connects to him for extra protection. I try to walk on paths that have less vehicle traffic. I would treat your dog with the same level of attention as I do my own!
About: I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I take the time to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m happy to provide extra care for puppies, senior dogs, shy or anxious pets, and those who need a little more patience and attention. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet feels right at home! I work full-time during the week, so I am available to provide pet care on weekends. I love using my weekends to spend quality time with pets and give them the attention, and care they deserve. I am happy to accommodate walks, playtime, drop-ins, or sitting, depending on your pet’s needs. My goal is to make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I provide pet care exclusively in the client’s home, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, needs, and preferences so they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hanscom Air Force Base
Luanne and Allan went above and beyond in caring for my curious little cat. This was my first time leaving my cat behind for 4 days. She did great under Luanne and Allan's supervision. They kept her stress-free and us too. Now I know my cat has found two trustworthy friends for life.

Briana was great! Went above and beyond. Took great care of our cat and house. Brought in all our packages and provided great photos and report cards. She even walked to our house during a snowstorm when the roads weren’t plowed to make sure our cat got fed and cuddles. Would definitely use her again!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
