“Angela is reliable and trustworthy. Our cat rarely makes a connection with sitters but Angela won her over right away. Thanks so much. Have a great year back at B school!”

“Rilee was nothing short of exceptional in the care she gave our elderly cat. Rilee was kind and warm, easy to talk to, and truly cared. Our cat has a complex medication regimen that includes oral medication twice a day. Rilee handled this with confidence and was able to put our cat at ease and get all of his medications in. We highly recommend her!”

“Karein did a wonderful job looking after our Bernese Mountain dog for a month. When we returned Goya was happy and healthy, and way better groomed than we left her. Karein was very pleasant and prompt to communicate with. We hope to work with her again in the future.”

“Ari was on-time and did a great job with Lou. The pictures indicated she was very happy with the visit, and we were happy to return to a clean litter box and healthy cat.”

“Fernanda was great! Responsible, responsive, and attentive to the specific needs of my little love bug. I highly recommend her and will request her for future needs. Thank you for providing such thoughtful and informed care!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has two large labs (13 years old and 6 years old) that I helped train since they were puppies. I often watch them for my parents when they go on vacation, so I am very comfortable with overnight care and love taking my pups for long walks. I also had a cat for 3 years in college. I love spending time with all animals!! I graduated college with my Bachelor’s degree in May and am currently living at home with my family. My days are filled with applying for jobs, going to the gym, making sourdough bread, spending time outdoors, and caring for my dogs. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and companionship they need. I do not offer care in my own home because I want to keep my dogs’ environment comfortable and stress-free. However, I am happy to provide care in your home, where your pet will feel most secure and comfortable. I have a spacious SUV equipped with dog beds and a ramp for my older dog, allowing me to safely transport pets for walks when needed. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

“Rose was wonderful with our two guinea pigs! She was reliable, caring, and always addressed any concerns I had right away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.
“Kristina is so great to work with! We have an excited puppy and a nervous 4 yr old. Kristina handles the dogs with kindness and the appropriate amount of command! We look forward to more visits!”

“Alison treated our cat very well while we were away. She was able to give him his medicine with no issues and sent us lots of photos of them playing. Our cat can be a bit feisty, so it was great to see her manage him so well.”

“Peaches, my little old Yorkie, took to Jess immediately and they enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood. I appreciated her promptness in arriving on time, and her photo that she took of Peaches. Highly recommend!”

“Danielle was wonderful with my cats. She followed my instructions to a T and made sure they were taken care of. She left everything clean and tidy and even brought in a package for me. I will definitely book with her again. :)”

“longfei and Luning are so helpful taking care my cat. Everything is done professionally and friendly. Most importantly, she seems to be happy. Will definitely recommend!”

“Thank you, Kyle, for the wonderful care you provided to Chloe. And thank you for accommodating our request to adjust the arrival time. We look forward to our next drop in visit and I'm sure Chloe will be thrilled to see you.”

“Finley did a great job taking care of my cat, Billie. It was my first time going out of town since adopting her, so I was pretty nervous about how she would react. Finley took the time to let Billie acclimate to them, and sent me lots of pictures. Billie seemed so happy and calm when I got home. I would definitely book Finley in the future. Thanks again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hanscom Air Force Base
Briana was great! Went above and beyond. Took great care of our cat and house. Brought in all our packages and provided great photos and report cards. She even walked to our house during a snowstorm when the roads weren’t plowed to make sure our cat got fed and cuddles. Would definitely use her again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hanscom Air Force Base. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
