About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).

I’m full time mom, and my pup can play with your pup to make sure they won’t be alone. I’m full time mom and always home. Feel free to let me know if there’s any specific needs. So I can stay with your baby all the time to give them cuddles & play. I only accept a pup boarding at my house except you have 2 pups at the same time. My kids are pet lover too. They are more than happy to sleep with your baby if it’s needed.
About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life! In my household I currently have had a 6 year old Siberian Husky named Maya that my family and I work together to take care of. I have started my own small dog walking business in the past that I decided to part from to pursue my teaching career. I am also a former Wag employee. I am excellent at connecting with animals and find joy in spending time with them. I am respectful of any specific directions to accommodate your booking and extremely flexible in most situations. Excited to get connected soon! I work full time as a Lead Educator at Bright Horizons in Lexington Massachusetts. I am available on weekends and feel free to reach out about availability throughout weekdays as it varies. With my dog at my home I work towards making sure she always feels loved. Taking walks and playing with all her toys is the main way we spend our free days. A backyard with gates is always fun for fetch!
About: Having recently lost my beloved yellow lab at 14, I find I miss our walks and the unconditional love that comes from being a dog mom. I've had dogs most of my adult life...labs are a favorite but I love them all. My daughter and my son each have two rescues who have all lived with us for periods of time. I am retired from the health club industry so my time is flexible. I am recently retired so I have a flexible schedule. I am available weekdays (7am-5pm) and some weekends. I live near conservations paths and the old reservoir which are both dog friendly places to walk. I am currently renting in Lexington so am unable to bring pets into my home, but I can go to clients homes to walk your pet.
