“Kim has had pets since she was able to walk. This includes cats, dogs, rabbits, and horses. She is truly an animal person. Since I have known her, she has taken care of many animals for her friends and most recently adopted elderly cats during Covid. Dogs of any size would not be a problem. She takes amazing care of them, and her pets always come first. I highly recommend her as a member of Rover.”

Laura J.
About: I grew up on a farm and have cared for a variety of animals all throughout my life. Currently, I help care/walk for my sister's small dog while she is out, and am raising my own German Shepherd who is currently 7 months old. I walk my pup on a daily basis, and walk my family's huskies when I visit them. I have always loved animals, especially dogs.I am safe and reliable when it comes to caring for all pets! I have a full-time job M-F, but am always available on weekends to spend some time walking your pup! As I am just starting out on Rover, I will be available on Sundays, 8am to 3pm. I am currently only doing walks, and will be able to come to your home. Whether it is 30 minutes or an hour, your pup will be safe with me as we explore the outdoors!

Katy Y.
About: Hi! My name is Katy and I would love to join your pet family! I am a former K9 handler for a court support dog, meaning I went through extensive training on how to best understand my dog and their needs (sometimes we humans need more training than our dogs!). Before my official title of a K9 Handler, I was a volunteer with canine companions as a puppy raiser. I had the opportunity to raise a young puppy and teach him basic commands, he later went on to doggy college and then to work with his forever human. I currently have a pet labradoodle that loves on my kids and enjoys outdoor time. I work remotely on Tuesdays and Fridays and happy to check on dogs before work, lunch, and after work. I work 9am-5pm, but am flexible to work with your pets potty breaks and other needs. Let me know what you need for your pets safety, trust, and environment. Every doggy is different, and I would love to cater to them.

Maddie N.

“Maddie was very responsible and kind. She walked our dog for a week to fill in for our usual dog walker. We would definitely utilize her again!”

Dina C.
“Dina was wonderful at taking care of my two huskies and cat. She kept me updated through the day, made sure my dogs had plenty of running and play time outside and they had water in their bowl. Great at communicating and following directions. I simply couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for my pets. It made my plans much enjoyable knowing she was there and I didn’t have to worry.”

Eliza A.
About: Hi, I'm Eliza! I just finished 4 years at Penn State and am currently taking classes to become an EMT. I've worked with and lived with small breeds, working breeds and large dog breeds. In high school, I did an internship with my local animal hospital and doggy daycare. During my time at Penn State, I was a volunteer at PAWS Centre County animal shelter and gained experience with cats and dogs. When I'm home I love staying active and taking my dogs on hikes, playing fetch and going on walks around the neighborhood. Whether your dog needs a cuddle buddy, a playmate or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I'd love to help! I have experience with Cats as well. I am a lifeguard Monday-Thursday 5am-8am. I coach during after school hours, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I take night classes Tuesday and Thursdays 7pm-10pm and have EMT classes every other Saturday 9am-3pm. I will make sure to keep them on schedule, taking them to the bathroom regularly and making sure they get fed on time. They're more than welcome to sleep in the bed if thats what they are used to or I put them in their crate at night.

Carrie H.

She is an experienced dog owner (including brachycephalic dogs), reliable, dependable, responsive, crazy in love with dogs, and fun. She is knowledgeable about dog food, and feeds her dogs high quality food and treats. Carrie will treat your dog as one of her own!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, but recently adopted my own about 3 years ago. I genuinely love being a dog mom, and care for him. I’ve spent months of researching the best brands of kibbles, raw diet, fur care, etc. I take pride into caring for my fur baby. I love going on walks, and exercising. I will take your fur baby on as many potty breaks as needed, and let them get all of their energy out. It is important to take care of your health, and your fur baby. They deserve love and care too! I also learn ways to train puppies and crate training! I struggled with it a lot when my pup was younger, so I totally understand your stress and concerns. If you want me to focus on crate training with your pet, please let me know! I am currently a student, so I have lots of flexibility with pet care! I am available Friday to Monday, with limited hours. And Wednesday all day. I am also available for boarding any day of the week, please reach out to me for scheduling :) Friday: anytime after 12PM Saturday & Sunday: all day Monday: all day Wednesday: all day I live in an apartment building, so I do not have a fenced yard. However, I do have an open yard, both front and back, and my fur baby is able to go out for potty. I also take my dog to a bigger park for extra long walks. If your pet needs longer walks, I will be able to bring them to a park :) There will be tons of potty breaks, and 1-on-1 playtime. Extra cuddles and love <3

Nicole L.

“Nicole came out to help let our dog Starbuck out during a time when our availability was more limited than usual. Having a rescue dog with skittishness, Nicole came out to help acclimate Starbuck to her while we were still available. Nicole was great, very communicative, and we will definitely seek her out again when we need the additional help.”

Jenny W.

“Jenny helped me and manny in a pinch over the weekend. She was super patient with my very distractible puppy and made sure he was well exercised and socially appropriate. The pictures she sent on walks were not only adorable but reassuring that he was happy and well cared for. Thank you Jenny!”

Paige W.
“Paige is a responsible, loving pet caregiver. She has had cats and dogs her whole life. She has always helped with the feeding and care of them. She regularly walks our large breed dogs and spends time with them whenever possible. Paige has also house sat to take care of a cat & dog while their owner was away! Paige is terrific and our pets love spending time with her.”
