“We are so grateful for Kira!! Bailey is so excited the second we pull into her driveway. He is completely exhausted from all the running and playing with other dogs in her big backyard. It is such a relief to know he is loved and well cared for while we are away.”

“Julie was so great with our dog Siena. Siena can be a bit anxious, and Julie was so caring and great with her and made her feel right at home. Great communicator, got lovely pictures and updates while we were away, we couldn’t be happier with Julie!”

“Maeve greets Leo like he is her family member! He happily runs in and is at home immediately. She texts me photos every day and is accomodating when my drop off and pick up times are in flux. Great dog sitter!”

“Sarah and Luis were great. I felt confident leaving my Sara with the family. I received great updates and pictures. Drop off and pick up was seamless. Thank you.”

“Liliya and her family were so sweet and took care of our Callie during our wedding weekend. We had only ever left her with friends or family before, so we were a bit nervous about leaving her with strangers. They sent photos everyday and showed Callie having a great time. Would 100% ask them to watch her again!”

“We felt very comfortable and secure leaving our senior dog with Bridget for a long weekend. Bridget was highly communicative and kind. Marbles has a couple specialized needs that she easily accommodated (i.e., twice daily pill administration and avoidance of other dogs). Marbles tends to be anxious when without us but I could tell she felt at ease with Bridget from the pictures that she shared with us. We will rebook for sure!”

“Nancy took amazing care of our dogs for almost 2 weeks while we were away in Europe. She communicated to us daily with photos to match her captions, letting us know they were doing well (they are old and not in the best of health). We were so grateful she could take them a month before we were to leave (we had a family emergency so needed a back up plan) especially during the holiday season! She was so thoughtful to help us out and go to the store when we neglected to pack their doggie treats. We highly recommend Nancy - she treated our dogs as if they were her own! ❤️”

“Tomoe and her entire family were amazing, and my dog quickly adopted them as his second family! Tomoe loves dogs and totally understands how important a caring dog sitter needs to be. She kept me aprised of my dog Muskies daily routine, with daily written descriptions and photos and videos. She cared for my dog for 10 days and treated him as her own, following all my instructions to the letter. I have used two other sitters(not from Rover but though recommendations) and neither even came close to the care and bond that my dog received with Tomoe. She played with him, took him for walks and to the dog park where my dog could meet and play with other dogs . In addition to her care, the rest of her family were also fantastic and played with my dog until he was played out! She is highly educated in the ways of dogdom, and truly has a passion for her work as a dog sitter. If I could give her 10 stars I would....I only hope she has availability the next time I need her services since once you have experienced the best there is no going anywhere else!”

“Rebecca and Jeanette watched my dog over the holidays. My dog is nervous and very attached to me, and they took excellent care of her and did everything to make her feel safe and comfortable. I will absolutely be using them again!”

“Alexandra and Joseph have taken great care of our dog a few times now and he always comes back happy and communication with them has been great. We enjoy the picture updates and he loves playing with all the dogs. Would recommend them highly.”

“Our 10 month old golden retriever had a great time staying with Dina. She was able to accommodate us last minute. She was wonderful with him! Her communication was much appreciated during our time away. We will 100% be using Dina in the near future.”

“Ana took such good care of our pup Rosie! She was so easy to communicate with and sent daily updates, with pictures and videos! Rosie loved playing with her dog, Lola, and came home exhausted in the best way!”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing! She was easy to coordinate with, provided plenty of updates (including some really adorable photos), and made our time away stress free because we knew our dog was in great hands!”

“I recently had my dog stay with Bo & Xiaosong for three days and two nights, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! They did an outstanding job taking care of my dog. She was happy, playful, and seemed to have a wonderful time during her stay. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I received video clips both day and night showing my dog eating, drinking, playing, and going for walks, which gave me peace of mind and made me feel connected to her while I was away. Bo & Xiaosong truly care about the animals they look after, and it’s evident in the way they interact with the dogs. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and loving environment for their pet!”

“This was the first time Mliss watched my nervous dog and he did great. Good communication with updates and pics each morning. I’ll definitely book with her again.”

“Jennifer took such good care of Archie and his special medical needs. He did not seem stressed at all. She sent me updates multiple times daily. I would highly recommend her.”

““Excellent”experience with Su. He gave daily updates with photos. Really cared about Koda and reached out when things came out. Highly recommended him to family and friends. Definitely use him again !! Thanks for taking good care of our dog.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sherborn
My pups had a great stay with Ana, Lola and Johan. It was our first time leaving our two-year old pups with a professional dog sitter, and couldn't have had a better experience! Ana was sensitive to each dogs's unique needs and quirks. She was very responsive, gave many updates, and cared for them as if they were her own. It was such a blessing to know they were safe and in good hands.

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
