About: Hi! We’re Nicole & Ben, Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we genuinely love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. From growing up around animals to volunteering at a local animal shelter, we’ve had plenty of experience caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We’d love the chance to spoil your pets with lots of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles! We know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust, and we’ll treat them like they’re part of our own family while you’re away. We are young professionals with a highly flexible and hybrid work schedules. We can both work from home if needed and will have ample time to attend to your pets needs. Our home has a quiet indoor space for pets to relax, along with a first-floor patio with direct outdoor access, making it easy to get dogs outside for potty breaks and walks. We are happy to follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime.

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

About: I have 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience, including 10 years working in a professional grooming shop as a bather. That experience made me very comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities and energy levels. I have also owned and cared for large-breed dogs throughout my life, including Dobermans, Rottweilers and pit bulls, so I am genuinely comfortable with big dogs. I understand that a 90-pound dog who is excited to see you is a very different experience from walking a 15-pound dog! I have experience administering subcutaneous medications to my own pets and am comfortable giving oral medications as directed. I am also happy to follow specific feeding, walking and care routines. Most importantly, I treat each pet as an individual. I want to know their routine, quirks, favorite things and what makes them comfortable so I can care for them the way you would. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, including the popular midday hours. I’m also available for morning and evening visits and can often accommodate weekends with advance notice. I’m happy to work with recurring weekly schedules as well as occasional care when you’re traveling or have a long day away from home. I care for pets in their own home with the same attention and respect I would expect for my own. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, walking and medication instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are safely settled before I leave. I respect your home and privacy, clean up after pets, and provide updates so you know how they’re doing while in my care.
