Hooligans HQMount Hope, Providence, RI

I guess loving dogs does not make me a unique dog care provider. But I truly do love and enjoy the animals.

I live in a house in the lively neighborhood near Brown University, with my human family and two weimaraners, Blue and Jasper. We have a large size yard, fully fenced in.

My partner and I are both involved in animal care. Both of us work from home. I work for over the phone interpretation company. I also have masters of science degree from the university of agriculture and zoology (Agricultural Academy in Szczecin, Poland.) My partner Wayne is a graphic designer.

Our daily human/poocher activities include lots of laughter and loving attention, and leash walks around the city. We are lucky to have a huge, fenced in yard and spend a lot of time there, playing ball and chase; but the highlights of the day are our strolls in the woods, the swimming is included.

I am not a professional dog trainer, but I have enough dog care experience to offer some training work during their stay, free of charge. I am happy to provide references on request.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1/ No unaltered animals, sorry. Also the dogs must be house broken.

2/ Don't forget the flea/tick preventative.

3/ Please contact me directly through General Inquiry, if the calendar shows "booked" during the time you are interested in.

I WILL CARE FOR YOUR BABY WITH TLC!North Providence, RI

Hi friends! I am a homeowner in a very residential area of North Providence with a fenced in backyard and Stephen Olney Park within walking distance, less than six houses away! I have always loved dogs, a former animal cruelty officer and a six year volunteer at the RISPCA. I will watch your baby like my own! I believe you, a loving pet parent, shouldn't have to worry, and I will make sure you don't! Here is a reference from Dr. Finocchio, President of the RISPCA.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am delighted to write a recommendation for Lori Sergiacomi who I

have had the pleasure of knowing for over 5 years. Lori approached

me a few years back as a radio disc jockey asking to help the

Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals with

their annual dog walk.

She brought her program to the shelter and promoted our fund

raising event on the air from our parking lot. This was the beginning

of a great friendship. Lori has since been a loyal volunteer for the

society doing what many other volunteers try to avoid, cleaning and

making the pets resting quarters clean and comfortable. She

volunteers on Sundays which is special because we find it difficult

for people to give up one of their days off to assist us. Lori is truly an

animal advocate and fully understands the goings on in a shelter for

animals.

She is dependable and hard working. I highly recommend Lori for

any position dealing with pets.

Sincerely,

Ej Finocchio, D.V.M.

Why I love dog sitting

I have been a dog lover my entire life! I was the kid that took home every stray...at that time dogs could roam free...drove my mom crazy but had new doggie friends! Then, as I entered my teens, I wanted my own dog. My mom said it was ok IF it was free. She didn't realize, back then, the Providence Journal had a Yankee Trader page listing free dogs. That's where I found my best friend, my German Shepard named Mindy. She lived a long life.

Now, as an adult, I have had smaller rescue dogs. I live with my Chihuahua Spunky. He is 17 years old now, 9 pounds and very lovable. I recently adopted a Yorkie named Bailey. She is 18 years old.

About my yard

I have a ceilinged, carpeted, fully furnished fenced in patio. I also have a large fenced in backyard. See pictures. I have central air conditioning for hot summer months.

My experience includes administering oral medication and injections. I am comfortable with both.

I would love it if your baby is no bigger than 20 pounds as I have two tiny senior fur babies.

Casa De Canine is a Dogs Heaven : )Lower South Providence, Providence, RI

My family has included dogs (and various other animals - I grew up in Africa and Asia) since I was about 6 or 7 years old. I worked at a Zoo for over 9 years and love nature and wildlife. I spend a great deal of time in the woods, hiking and swimming with our family's 3 dogs - a 5 year old "Pitty" named Zulu, our 7 year old choco-Lab Brownie, and the queen of the house Maia (or Mia), a seven pound, almost 4 year old Shitzu-Terrier. I have over a decade of experience dog sitting, fostering puppies, dog-walking, providing doggy day care and assisting in basic training. I am aware of the challenges of finding trustworthy and caring dog care help. I am mostly retired affording me the time and flexibility to pursue a passion caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Our home is clean and comfortable with 4 separated yard areas including a kiddie pool for the hot summer days, two separate basement areas with crates ranging from small to XXXL, and 3 gated areas on the first floor that are air conditioned and allow for lots of interaction in the kitchen and living room. Toys, blankets, pillows, crates, etc. are sanitized regularly and we strongly believe in providing a safe, comfortable environment for your dogs to socialize, learn, play or just lounge around. We have 8 security cameras mounted through the house to keep additional eyes on our furry family and friends and there is almost always someone home and other friendly dogs to play with.

Amanda has dedicated her life to her animals and has worked with multiple dog care services in metro Boston. When she’s not out on a training call, she is home with her pack - her favorite place to be! Now that her roots are in Rhode Island she has the opportunity to continue the work that she loves so much.

Positive Trainer with a Giant YardNorth Providence, RI

I have 7 years experience working as a positive-reinforcement trainer and at boarding and daycare facilities. I'm currently finishing up my CPDT certification and love nothing more than sitting down with a good animal behavior book.

My partner and I have been running Beach City Dog Prep for over 2 years. We spend the day managing play groups, reinforcing good manners with toys and treats, going on adventures with dogs in the woods, taking high quality photos, and snuggling your dogs. We also offer complimentary enrichment activities for boarding dogs. Food puzzles, licky mats, and other brain teasers that are adjusted to each dog's ability so everyone can enjoy themselves!

Walks scheduled with Beach City Dog Prep aren’t your average midday potty breaks. Andrea picks up your dog, secures them in a comfy crate, and drives them to a quiet wooded area to enjoy some sniffing and running time on the end of a 30’ long leash. This allows your dog to have some much needed time to just be a dog. These are called Decompression walks and start at $35 for a 45 minute hike or you can book a 90 minute hike for $50. All decompression walks are scheduled between 11am- 3pm. These book up quickly and we recommend setting up a standard walk day so you don’t lose your spot! Ask us about packages to save on each walk.

Boarding dog activities are based on the individual dog - we offer both play and quiet spaces. We pay close attention to their behavior and play styles and are glad to be able to pass that information on to you.

In addition to Boarding and Decompression Walks I also offer Private Lessons, Day Training, and Immersive Training including Board and Trains. For more information shoot me a message!

We do send individual updates through the app, but the majority of our photos are posted to our Beach City Dog Prep facebook account so everyone can enjoy the pictures.

Let us know if you have any questions!

We respect people and their pronouns, this is a queer and trans positive space.

Hi, I have been fostering dogs fore 3 years. I currently foster dogs through Save one Soul rescue league. I am very familiar with many different breeds and sizes of dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard and your dog will have 24/7 access to the yard. I also have a 15'x15' kennel with an entrance to a sheltered section of my shed for dogs that may be aggressive. During the week I come home everyday for lunch so your dog will not be left alone for more than 4 hers at a time. I take my dogs on daily walks/hikes!

Priscilla Dunn In Home Dog BoardingSeekonk, MA

Ten minutes from Providence I provide a quiet, stress free, dog friendly environment for all sizes and breeds of dogs with a large fenced yard. Dogs have free run of the house, are allowed on the furniture and can even sleep on my bed if there is room! I have handled dogs, cats and horses all my life and feel comfortable with any type of dog. I am at home most of every day. I cannot accept big jumpers, due to a picket fence in front yard, or dogs that are aggressive with other dogs. My return visitors are always happy to come here and run up the steps which makes me very proud. All dogs must have license and rabies tags attached to their collar or harness.

Dog Lover to Pamper your PetCranston, RI

Thank you for searching for me. Please note at this time I am available to 'Board', 'Visit" and/or "walk" your pet Only.

I have raised two children and while I was a stay-at-home mom and work-at-home mom typing transcription, we have always enjoyed the pleasure of two Golden Retrievers who were our best friends and playmates. We now have a Long-Haired Chihuahua who we love dearly and fits right in. Now I am changing careers to do what I love. I took Pet Assisted Therapy training with my two Golden Retrievers a few years ago. My passion is for dog-walking, boarding dogs for extended stays, and helping people have a successful relationship with their pet. I love taking dogs for walks and finding nature trails.

I now bring my Long-Haired Chihuahua to visit patients at a Rehab/Nursing Home. It is so rewarding. I would love to be there for your 4-legged family member. If you work full-time, your pet really needs a playtime to stretch their legs and get out some pent-up energy to put a smile on his/her face.

I am even available to take your pet to the Vets for an appointment or groomers.

Why I love dog sitting.

As a child, my family had a German Shepard named Queeny, which was always tied up so I would spend hours sitting with her. I felt horrible when my dad opened an auto repair garage, and brought her there as a guard dog.

My experience administering medication

Yes. I prefer to use "Pill Pockets", but can give liquids, apply topical medicine as well.
