Being a travel nurse and first time Rover user, I was super nervous about the whole process, but they were so welcoming and accommodating to all of my pups need. Cherylee even went as far as to rescue us when my car broke down on the way to our meet and greet! I have an older pup with a lot of dietary and medication needs. They had absolutely no problem keeping his schedule and made sure to send me pictures and videos daily. I run my own practice from home, so my schedule is flexible and pets are rarely alone. My days are built around routine, morning walks, midday breaks, and calm evenings. Guest dogs join my daily rhythm naturally, with consistent feeding times, multiple walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day In my home, I host one guest at a time in a calm, quiet space with supervised indoor time and secure, leashed walks. In your home, I follow your routines, feeding times, medications, and house rules. I always start with a meet and greet, keep dogs leashed or secured at all times, and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

I can’t recommend Elba enough! I needed someone to watch my Pudding last minute while I was dealing with some personal issues, and she stepped up without hesitation. From the very beginning, she made me feel comfortable knowing he was in good hands. She sent me pictures of him playing, having fun, and enjoying himself every single day, which meant so much to me. It was clear that she genuinely cared about him and treated him as if he were her own. Finding someone you can trust with your fur baby isn’t always easy, but Elba made the entire experience stress-free. I’m so grateful for her kindness, flexibility, and the love she showed Pudding. If you’re looking for someone who will truly care for your pet, I highly recommend her! ❤️
Rafael was fantastic with Phoebe! From the very start, he was organized, transparent about his home setup, and had a great system in place to keep all the visiting dogs safe and comfortable. During her overnight stay, he sent tons of wonderful photos and videos, and it was so clear that Phoebe was happy, relaxed, and right at home with him. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so glad we found him. Highly recommend!
Erin took great care of Lily during a four-night stay (and Lily’s first boarding in a good few years). Lily seemed comfortable and settled quickly, and Erin was very accommodating of her particular habits—including adjusting her schedule on the first day so Lily wouldn’t be left alone in an unfamiliar place, and being patient with her reluctance to go very far on walks when I’m away. I received photos and updates during the stay and came home to a happy, relaxed dog. Erin also very kindly brought Lily home at the end of the booking. I’d be very comfortable having Lily stay with her again.
We can’t say enough good things about Eliza! She took Marvin in with such short notice, it was impressive. The handoff was super easy and Eliza was very communicative; sharing photos and videos of Marvin. These were great action shots! Not only that, but she was very flexible when plans changed due to a flight change. We highly recommend her and will be bringing Marvin back whenever we need a sitter!
Tammy was a total lifesaver. My original sitter canceled 2 days before my trip to Europe and Tammy opened her schedule up to take my Ziggy! She treated his so well and sent me updates to see how happy he was! I think he enjoyed his vacation too! I will absolutely be working with her again and couldn’t recommend her more!
I had to board my dog, Humphrey, while I travelled for a work conference, and a nor'easter unexpectedly lengthened my trip by one day. I had to pick up Humphrey late, and I was so scared that it would be a problem. Nope. Jenni was kind, flexible, and returned Humphrey to me happy and sleepy (from all the fun). Her dog, Ripley, is also an absolute sweetheart. Highly recommend boarding with Jenni!
Boa kept Moose for for the first time and it was for 4 days. He came back home very happy and clearly very well taken care of. Boa also sent wonderful pictures regularly, was very communicative, and just all-around one of the best experiences I have ever had with Rover. I will most definitely be asking Boa to care for Moose again in the future. Thank you! I am so grateful, and it really helps for peace of mind to know Moose is well taken care of when I have to travel for work.
