“First meet & greet with my pups . Mae was very thorough with questions and gathering background info on my dogs . She took the time to ensure she covered all her bases. Which I appreciate since they are my babies ! Ellie was very timid and hiding behind me but Mae was able to coax her with treats and get her leashed . She also did well with Gizmo high energy jumping . He uses a gentle lead around his muzzle and she was able to put it on no problem. They went for a walk and it went smoothly .She took pictures as well . Will book again !”

I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention every day. Walks, playtime, and feeding fit easily into my daily routine. I keep a clean, safe, and pet-friendly home. Pets have secure spaces to play and rest, and I supervise them at all times to ensure their safety and comfort.
“Ben is wonderful! Very attentive and communicative. Took lots of great pics. Our cat usually takes a long time to warm up to people but she took to Ben instantly. We feel confident our pets are safe + happy with Ben”

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.
“Jayla was fantastic with Rusty and went above and beyond, from accepting a last minute booking when our usual sitter fell through to taking extra precautions when someone noticed where we told her to hide the key! Will absolutely be requesting to book again!”

“We were so lucky to get connected with Isabel! Had to leave town for a weekend on short notice but she was able to come by and meet our dog beforehand nonetheless, when we got back he was so happy and calm. The photos from her walks were also much appreciated.”

About: I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs. I know how important a pet’s routine and care for them like my own while their owner is away. I am currently taking online classes and focusing on school. I love animals and going on walks. This will be a great way to interact with them while also keeping up with my daily steps. Clearing my mind while doing something I love. Safety and the wellbeing of any pet in my care is my top priority. I will follow every rule/routine you have in place to ensure your pet is being cared for how you’d like for them to be. I respond quickly to any unusual behavior, injury, illness and immediately get ahold of the parents.
“Abby was great for two early morning walks with my old boy. The weather was not great but he seemed really happy anyway. Abby was also super punctual which was impressive so early in the morning. Ty Abby!”

“Maya is the best! She is heaven sent for me and my little pup…I work crazy clinical hours at the hospital and have to make changes last minute and Maya is so caring and considerate taking the time to take care of my dog when needed - even last minute! I feel lucky to have her help 😁”

“Rich was incredible. Definitely helped me in a pinch with my dog Goomba! He was very responsive and loved all the pictures of my pup with him on their walk. Would certainly use him again in the future and highly recommend. For all kinds of dogs, sometimes can be tough finding your pet as much as you do but Rich certainly has a big affinity for dogs which makes you rest easy while he’s with your pup.”

About: I grew up with a sweet Golden Retriever, Jake, who taught me a lot about pet care. I walked, fed, and got to know his unique personality. As he got older and developed mobility issues and glaucoma, I made sure he stayed comfortable, loved, and happy. Later, we added a sassy Poochan puppy, Blake, to the family (I picked him up from out of town!), and I helped raise him, taught him tricks, and helped him bond with our senior dog. I've also noticed when dogs weren’t feeling right, once I suggested allergies, and I was right, and we got him treatment! I've pet sat and walked dogs for others too. I love all kinds of animals and pride myself on being patient, observant, and understanding of every pet’s individual needs. Pet care for me is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. I find joy in spending time with animals, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Each day starts with caring for the pets I'm responsible for: morning walks, fresh food and water, and a little play or cuddle time. Throughout the day, I build my schedule around each pet’s routine, whether that’s a midday walk, medication, or just some one-on-one attention to keep them happy and comfortable. On a weekly basis, I like to check in on things like cleanliness, grooming, and overall health, making sure litter boxes or food bowls are fresh, fur is brushed if needed, and every pet is thriving. I take my time to really get to know each animal’s personality, quirks, and comfort zones so they feel understood and cared for while their family is away. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust for all animals. I understand how important it is to keep their environment calm, secure, and familiar. In your home, I follow your routines closely to keep things consistent and stress-free for you and your pet. I pay close attention to any instructions regarding food, exercise, medications, and behavior quirks. I also make sure your home is respected and cared for while you're away. If I’m welcoming pets into my own home, I create a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly space. I remove anything that could be unsafe or tempting to chew, and I make sure pets have their own space to relax, eat, and play. I supervise all interactions and tailor the environment based on the pet’s needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed. Trust is everything in this job. I communicate openly and often with updates, photos, and check-ins so you feel confident and reassured while you're away. Your pet's safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priorities.
“Maryann was fantastic! We needed at add another day last minute, and she was able to accommodate our needs. We will definitely try and schedule her again”

“Baeli was so awesome with our first meet and greet (Zoe and I felt very safe with Baeli and trusted her while we were out of town. She took extra steps to make sure Zoe wasn't too hott and refreshed her water. Thanks again! Looking forward to rebooking!”

About: Hi, I’m Meg! I've had dogs since I was a little child-- and have had dogs with strong personalities, seniors, rescues, reactive dogs, and fearful dogs alike. I'm also a regular at the Bell St Dog Park so I get to see all sorts of lovely pups and engage with them! I am self- employed and work from home, so my schedule is flexible! I generally prefer to keep my availability to 11-5 but if I get advance notice or have a good working relationship with a pet parent, I can work it into my routine differently! I prioritize making sure that your pet is taken care of based on what they are used to. Learning the rules of your home and what the pet is used to is key so they are not frightened or stressed! If a pet is on medication or on special diet I of course will keep to those rules. Adequate water, grooming, walking habits are key so the dog feels safe and comfortable-- I also work with clicker training if a dog feels comfortable with that (my dog had to learn this with reactive training on walks) For walks or in home play, I also have a small terrier who can be a good play buddy-- if your dog would like a friend for company we could test this out, but only if you are interested!
About: I have always had pet dogs and cats that I took care of basically since I was old enough to do so. I have also watched many neighbors animals throughout my life. As a grad student I have an ever-changing schedule allowing me to be free at odd hours to let pets out or take them for walks while their owners work. Your pets safety is the of the utmost importance to me. I follow your pets feeding, walk, and play schedules so that they feel the most comfortable and at home as they can while you're away or at work. I respect your home as if it was my own keeping it tidy and treating it with care. I just want your pets to feel relaxed and happy.
“Heath was great with Jasper! Jasper warmed up very quickly and clearly enjoyed his walk. I received lots of pictures and a detailed description of the walk. We will definitely use Heath in the future!”
About: I have had 2 dogs in my life that I was the primary caregiver for, and I miss having a doggo of my own. This gig is a bridge until I can get another pup for myself! I have also had experience with taking care of 4lbs, 12-week-old puppies (and house training them) to 120lb, 12-year-old, Newfies! So there is a lot of variety in my experience. I work 3/5 from home, so I have a lot of flexibility for mid-day walks. Plus, I'm very conscious of sticking to the schedule your pet is accustomed to! I know how to create a calm, secure space with thoughtful supervision. I can follow your pet-care instructions closely and ensure your fur-baby feels safe, loved, and comfortable during my time with them!
Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
I'm very happy with my choice of Amanda to walk my dog. She's the best poop picker upper and awesome at petting dogs. I knew I had made the right choice when Dude (my dog) sat me down after dinner and said how much he appreciates that I got him such a great dog walker.

What a wonderful experience. I booked a 30 minute walk for my parents puppies because my older mom just needed a minute to herself. She recently got Pebbles (Aug 21) and she’s working through the motions of getting acclimated. Nicole was so quick to accommodate the request and was very flexible about the process. My mom enjoyed their interaction and really felt safe sending the dogs with her. 10/10 recommend. Fantastic experience.

I would highly recommend hiring Crystal for your needs. She was promp and very communicative throughout the whole process. I was very hesitant at first being my first time using this service but doing a meet before hand really set my mind at ease. Not to mention my dog loved her. She kept me up to date on the walks and took some great photos. And she made sure my dogs food and water was taken care of before leaving as well.

We had such a great experience with Kimberly while we were away on vacation for four days this week. She took amazing care of our 10-month-old puppy, and we couldn’t be happier with the attention and love she gave her! Kimberly was punctual, dependable, and super communicative throughout. We really appreciated the updates and adorable photos after each walk—it gave us total peace of mind knowing our pup was in such great hands. She clearly has a natural way with dogs, and our puppy warmed up to her right away. Coming home to a happy, well-exercised pup made all the difference. We highly recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker. We’ll definitely be booking her again! Thank you! The Rebello's
