About: My family had 2-3 dogs and cats as pets all throughout my childhood and so I've grown up caring for animals. I am trained in basic animal first aid and we live down the street of the local vet. I'm an active and athletic young adult, so I am happy to run and play with your dog! I love all dogs small and large and can cater to whatever their needs. I'm flexible in terms of hours, days, and frequency. I'm a finishing my PhD at University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography, so usually my work is remote (lots of writing!). My fiancé and I live near parks in a quiet neighborhood of Providence and regularly care for our friends' pets when they're out of town. Our place has a decent yard (unfenced), but many folks walk their dogs all around the neighborhood and I've never had an issue. My schedule is flexible, but not necessarily consistent, so advanced notice is really helpful for planning purposes so that I may give your pet the attention they deserve. My work is usually remote, or at the very least flexible enough to make my own schedule when it comes to being in the office vs working from home. I only walk dogs on leashes because our yard is unfenced and we live in a neighborhood with many dogs that walk by daily. Dogs are welcome in my apartment and on my furniture. I will go to dog parks upon request, otherwise your dog will not be let off leash around other animals.

About: Hello! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have always taken care of close friends and family friends pets when needed, i’m excellent at recognizing pets needs and love having a good time with furry friends!! I’m currently a lifeguard and since it’s off season I have more time on my hands and would love to help in any way I can! I love to cuddle with my dog and take her on long afternoon walks! She is the sweetest most friendliest dog and doesn’t mind company. I also enjoy adapting to new routines as it allows me to better my care for all types of pups or feline friends!

About: I understand the importance of trust and punctuality when leaving your pet in the care of others. I am committed to caring for your animals well, and communicating with you regularly. I have a large partially fenced yard with a dog run. My home is five minutes from the train station and has a large walkable park for the dogs to walk at. We have a lab/greyhound mix that loves making friends and two cats that can be cordoned off to their own space if needed. They are all very mild mannered and friendly with up to date immunizations and regular flea and heart worm medication. Ive been watching dogs in our home for since 2015 and walking them for longer. I do not take more than one family's animals at a time. My two daughters love to play with and spoil the animals. We do allow them on the couch but not on our bed. I have some experience caring for elderly or special needs dogs and will consider them on a case by case basis. I love the opportunity to meet and care for new animals while also supporting the people in my community. I work hybrid and have good flexibility to come home or work from home in order to care for our animals or take them for walks. Someone is home 80% of the time during the week. When we let animals out in our yard, they are chained on a lead while we stand out with them. During walks we make sure that animals do not get close to other people's animals. I understand the unpredictability that can come when mixing animals and I am sure to safeguard any animals in my care. We also ensure that we keep our home extra tidy during visits to prevent accidental ingestion of unwanted items.

About: I have been taking care of my friends and neighbors dogs (and cats) forever, and babies at home my whole life. They know how much of an animal lover I am so they think of me first when they need help. I have been told I have a calming presence which dogs like. Taking your dog for a walk is the highlight of my day, and I think the dog knows it and has a great time. Let me know what you need help with! I coach figure skating 15-25 hours a week. Never for longer than 4 hours in one rink at a time. I have large gaps between rinks and Monday and Thursday completely off. Walking dogs around my coaching schedule is perfect because it brings some extra joy to my day and keeps me busy. I do a meet and greet with the pet parents before I take care of their babies. That way I know what leashes they use, what doors to lock, what foods they eat, what to avoid on walks, behaviors, etc

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

About: I have had 2 dogs in my life that I was the primary caregiver for, and I miss having a doggo of my own. This gig is a bridge until I can get another pup for myself! I have also had experience with taking care of 4lbs, 12-week-old puppies (and house training them) to 120lb, 12-year-old, Newfies! So there is a lot of variety in my experience. I work 3/5 from home, so I have a lot of flexibility for mid-day walks. Plus, I'm very conscious of sticking to the schedule your pet is accustomed to! I know how to create a calm, secure space with thoughtful supervision. I can follow your pet-care instructions closely and ensure your fur-baby feels safe, loved, and comfortable during my time with them!

About: I have worked with dogs for a decade, from raising puppies to running a section of a doggie daycare. I love all dogs like they are my own, they are beautiful companions and deserve our respect and to be treated with kindness. I am involved with dog care from puppy to senior, involving diet, exercise, training, and giving some medications. I check every dog I care for from top to bottom before and after each session, and give a report of any findings to the pet owners after our session. Every dog is cared for according to their breed and temperament so to produce the happiest dogs! I don't use negative reinforcement in training or exercise. I work full time for a doggie daycare that loves their doggie clients, and have a home full of pets as well! Dogs fill up my day from beginning to end, and i wouldn't have it any other way. I believe in holistic care, meaning taking care of a doggie from every aspect. Making sure they are well fed with healthy food and treats, any allergens are avoided, excercise, love and attention, and training along with outlets for their natural instincts according to breed and temperment. And of course vet care and health and wellness checkups. By caring for all these aspects, it gives our dogs a life and health they otherwise are missing out on!

About: I have loved dogs ever since I was a kid. I grew up with 2 dog's when i was younger, and have watched dogs for my friends while growing up. I have dog sat for some people that I have met while walking around. I can say that I am pretty well suited to care for your dog, and that I will do my best and care for your dog/family member to the best of my ability. I am available to walk and dog sit for you so that you may work or just go out for a good time. I am going am very enthusiastic about being around all dogs, whether they are big or small. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5. I currently have two dogs one 8 and one 7 at my parents home where I currently live. My brother and sister in law also have two dogs 2 and 1 years old. When my parents and them travel, I am in charge of the 4 of them at my house and we are all on a routine where everything is under control and still having fun. When needed, I do go to my brothers to take them for a walk and play with them to break up their day of being in the house. I am currently part time worker, so I have more free time during the week and figured I could use my time to help out dog lovers like yourself! For dog walking, I will follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet and yourself are satisfied with my job. I will be safe but fun at the same time making sure your pets are cared for properly.
