About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. Reactive, old, needy, temperamental I’ve experienced it all. Reach out if you would like to set some time to meet and let me see how I can make your day a little better. As a part timer in nightlife, I work weekends at night. Luckily that frees up my week to be able to walk or sit for you! My superpower is sticking to the dogs routine, to set them up for success. Picky dog? Not a problem! If I do a longer stay; I will be sure to leave your home in better condition than I found it in.

About: I grew up with many dogs and cats, and am the go-to petsitter for my friends and family while they are away. I have experience petsitting homes with multiple pets with different routines/schedules (and four litter boxes!), as well as administering medication, caring for and walking elderly pets. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and week and am more than happy to workaround your pet care needs! I take your pet’s wellbeing, safety, and comfort very seriously and will care for them as if they were my own. I aim to provide your pet with a sense of routine and familiarity, as well as stimulation and play, while his or her parent is away. I do this by sticking as closely as possible to the rules/guidelines set by you and being attentive to each pet’s unique needs.

About: I have had a dog in the house since I was young. Most recently helped train my family German Shepherd puppy from 10 weeks! I also have experience caring for my dog when she went through a major hip replacement surgery, which required much more intensive care over the course of a few months. Do not currently have any pets (my pup is back home), but have helped take care of both dogs and cats. I am staying in the Brown University area over the summer and will be conducting research as a Master's student. My schedule is very flexible as I mostly work on a laptop. However, there will be days I have to work around experiments, so feel free to inquire! I won't be able to host your pet (sadly), but I am more than willing to visit or walk as needed! I always starts with asking: 1. Any essential things about the pet I need to know (medication, allergies, etc.) 2. Any essential things about the house? (places to keep them out of, toys, beds, where they like to hang out) 3. Food, drink, and potty schedule + locations for each. 4. Anything else you want me to be aware of? (No shoes in the house, stay out of certain rooms, don't let mud get tracked around, etc.) 5. In case there's a mess, how should I clean up? (paper towels, pads, trash bags, etc.) I always want to respect both your house and your little friend so please give me as much detail as possible!

She is great with him and so patient and really takes the time to ask questions that matter (ex. “are there any habits you’re trying to break him from?” “Anything you would like to work on improving with him”). I have noticed a marked improvement in his temperament when we go for walks now. He used to be all over the place, pull on the leash, couldn’t figure out where to go. Now he walks along side me, only pulls when he meets new friends (other dogs approach) and he constantly checks (looks at me) to make sure he is doing well. I genuinely feel good knowing she is the one caring for Charlie. Highly recommend!”

About: Overview: I have always grown up with animals of all sorts, mainly small dogs, and now live with a cat and tortoise. I have experience with feeding, potty training, sleep training, trick training, caging, walking, bathing and grooming, cleaning up, playing, exercising, and loving each of my beloved pets. Each task is beyond worth it. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to ask! My Fun Pet facts: - I have had a 14 year old Russian tortoise rescue, named crash, for 5 years now! It is named after the fact that he lives in a glass tank and sometimes forgets the glass is a wall. Also I set him free often to wander, and he's an adrenaline junky that loves to try to climb, drop, and crash into various objects and walls! - I raised salt water fish in my childhood home from lion fish to banana eels to pufferfish and idols and tangs! - My biggest dream is to have dog, cats, bunnies, ducks, and horses on my own homestead! pigs, goats, and any other animal would be fun too :) Experience (Personal, Pets, and Personality): Since moving to the city part time, my dogs and I have become very used to handling the hustle and bustle of the streets, especially Central Park. I volunteer at the Broome Animal Shelter to walk their dogs occasionally with friends. As a disabled person myself with pets who have had various issues throughout their and my life with some experience in basic healthcare, and lots of experience in first aid and crisis- any medical procedure needed to be done at home from syringes to needles to gauzes to bandaids, or even just hiding a pill in cheese- I am your guy! As a Filipino, I grew up with a very large family which includes having lots of animals around. But even in my own home, I grew up with a golden retriever, a havanese, and a poodle. Then two Havanese, and their cousin the Italian greyhound and.. another Havanese and... another poodle. I was the kid who memorized every dog breed, and wanted to visit the kennel and beg my parents for another dog. Our house was known as the place to house sit if a loved one was to go on vacation or anything. As an adult, I have lived with a cat each year that I could. Though these pets were pretty small in breed, it's actually my dream to get a dane or a similar sized and mannered big friendly giant. I spent a lot of my time at shelters, in nature camp, and at the nature center when I was a kid keeping all the animals safe. I have been that friend who pets immediately bond with when visiting someone's place for the first time. I was even such a frequent guest at the nature center, I even named one of the corn snakes "Bracelet" since she would hang around my wrist as I went to walk around the Greenberg Nature Center to greet, feed, clean, and care for the other reptiles. I have been an honorary member of the staff since I was 5 years old! I am a full time graduate student now working in Providence for 2 months. Since my work can be flexible and I'm located in the heart of the city, I can be available anytime! I have 5 repeat dog clients right now, and live with a cat and tortoise right now so I'm always surrounded by pets and happy to meet more. I will return to Binghamton August 2, and will be open again for house sitting then. When I am home in New York, I am available full weekends and holidays. I will be curious and courteous about whatever tailored needs your pet has so I can best respect and take care of your pet. For dogs- On walks, I don't just walk alongside a dog but I pay attention to their body, queues, and interests. During house visits, I'd love to keep them engaged by playing with them, keeping them active, and of course letting them rest. I am extremely well organized and I would ensure they get fed and taken out at requested times. For cats- I would make sure that they get what they need and want. From alone time to pets to cuddles to carrying. I would be on time with food, medicine, or any other duties. I would keep a good eye on your cat and ensure they get into minimal trouble, while also letting them roam and explore. For any other animals- I would just be honored to hangout with your pet, as an exotic pet owner myself. I would ensure I am well educated in the handling and care of your animal!

About: I’ve trained three very skittish rescue doggies and purebred pups. I dog sit for friends and family often. I am extremely energetic/Athletic and if your doggie wants to go for a run, I am up for that for sure! Or if they just need some calming snuggle time, I’m your girl! I enjoy getting to know pet’s unique personalities and needs. I grew up around animals my whole life — dogs, house cats, barn cats, and even neighboring farm animals and wildlife. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Recently losing my longtime companions, Niko, a tiny chihuahua/corgie mix & rescue with a huge personality, and Copper, a golden with a goofball heart of gold, reminded me how deeply our pets become family. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while working, traveling, or managing a busy schedule, and I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for them. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, patience, or extra attention, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I’d want for my own. I look forward to meeting new furry friends and helping give pet owners peace of mind. I called my doggies my kiddos and will care for yours as such! About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was around 12, as well as grew up around dogs. I’ve mostly done drop-ins which I’ll stay anywhere from 10-60 minutes depending on needs. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats throughout that time and many different sizes, breeds, and ages. I am currently between jobs, as I have just moved to Providence from Texas.
