“Susan goes about and beyond! I don’t know what I would do w/o her and my Bentley loves her. She cares for him as if Her as if he were her own dog. I’m so glad we found her.:).”

“Emily is so good with both of my animals and always comes prepared with whatever is needed to win them over. She has such a great personality and I’m so lucky to have found her”

About: Hi! I'm Victor, an East Side Providence local with a pretty simple philosophy: dogs deserve a walk that's actually enjoyable, not just a quick loop around the block. I spend a lot of time outdoors, paddleboarding on the Providence River, walking Blackstone Boulevard, exploring the neighborhood, so your dog will be in good hands with someone who genuinely likes being outside. I've walked friends' dogs regularly and know how to read a dog's pace and energy. When I'm not outside I teach piano lessons for families on the East Side. Calm, attentive, and always on time. Available mornings, afternoons, and weekends. East Side only. I know every good route. I'm an early riser and work flexible hours, so mornings and afternoons are wide open most days. Dog walks fit naturally into my routine since I'm already outside exploring the East Side regularly. Weekends work well too. I offer walks only, so I'll be caring for your dog out in the neighborhood rather than at home. I keep dogs leashed at all times, stay attentive to their energy and pace, and always have water available on longer walks. I treat every dog like they belong to someone who trusts me completely, because they do.

About: I am an emergency room nurse and animal caregiver! I have been a nurse for three years and a life long animal lover as well. I have experience raising rats, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I’d love to take care of your fur-babies when you need help while busy at work or trying to fit in a last minute vacation! I work three days a week and overall have pretty open availability to be able to provide high quality pet care while also cleaning up and leaving your place the way you found it before you left! I am available for dog walking, litter boxes, meal times, quality time, light house-cleaning, and any other pet need related to cats, dogs, or any other kind of furry friends you may need help with while you are away!
“Katie walked our two dogs three times a day for a week and was fantastic. She was always on time and sent photo updates. We would love to have Katie walk our dogs again - would absolutely recommend her!”

“Michelle is the best! Our dog loved her- we marveled that he was like a better dog after walking with Michelle, more relaxed and easy going. She was very communicative and it was clear how much she cares about our dog. Thank you so much Michelle!”

About: I've personally owned a dog for 17 years & have cared for other people's pets (including dogs) in their homes for many years, so I'm familiar & skilled in pet care & love providing this service . One of my life routines includes walking for exercise and I would enjoy walking your dog/s with me. I'm currently unemployed and available for this service. I am not available to keep your dog in the place I reside because I am a renter & that service is not permitted on the grounds

“Antoinette watched our 5 month old puppy while we went out to a family dinner. She was amazing with our little Mabel, kept in touch and sent pictures. Thank you so much!”

“Bri was super professional and thoughtful during our meet and greet, and Matcha warmed up to her immediately. She has provided us with many much appreciated walks for Matcha while we are at work for the day, and I know Matcha has a ton of fun with her! Bri is very communicative and makes us feel comfortable and confident that our pup is being cared for. Thank you, Bri!”

“Ellie has been great taking care of my dogs! She always updates me on what time she is coming and takes lots of pictures. I trust her to give my dogs the attention they need while I am gone :)”

About: I grew up with many dogs and cats, and am the go-to petsitter for my friends and family while they are away. I have experiencing petsitting homes with multiple pets with different routines/schedules (and four litter boxes!), as well as administering medication and caring for and walking elderly pets. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and week and am more than happy to workaround your pet care needs! I take your pet’s wellbeing, safety, and comfort very seriously and will care for them as if they were my own. I aim to provide your pet with a sense of routine and familiarity, as well as stimulation and play, while his or her parent is away. I do this by sticking as closely as possible to the rules/guidelines set by you and being attentive to each pet’s unique needs.
About: I’ve trained three very skittish rescue doggies and purebred pups. I dog sit for friends and family often. I am extremely energetic/Athletic and if your doggie wants to go for a run, I am up for that for sure! Or if they just need some calming snuggle time, I’m your girl! I enjoy getting to know pet’s unique personalities and needs. I grew up around animals my whole life — dogs, house cats, barn cats, and even neighboring farm animals and wildlife. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Recently losing my longtime companions, Niko, a tiny chihuahua/corgie mid x rescue with a huge personality, and Copper, a golden with a goofball heart of gold, reminded me how deeply our pets become family. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while working, traveling, or managing a busy schedule, and I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for them. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, patience, or extra attention, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I’d want for my own. I look forward to meeting new furry friends and helping give pet owners peace of mind. I called my doggies m kiddos and will care for yours as such! My days are free and can’t wait to fill them up with more joy, walks, training, runs and snuggles. Obedience, praise and love are my core. My pets are my world, I care for and treat others pets as my own. I will treat your home as mine as well! I’m responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Can’t wait to meet!

About: I had the enriching experience of living with a curious & stubborn miniature dachshund for 16 years - he was my “little brother”! As I matured I encouraged him to walk and was patient with interpreting his communication & his unique needs as he aged. I have also been able to visit with and care for a playful 3 year old chihuahua when I visit home in NJ. I am currently a graduate student in an occupational therapy doctorate program in Providence, RI. I am on my summer fieldwork which is full time in CT Monday - Thursday. Until August my Fridays are free, and I have minimal homework on weekends now so I am eager to get outside with some amazing dogs! I am not currently offering to bring your dog into my home for care. If I were to care for your dog in your home, I would abide by your ground rules and make sure we are in agreement before continuing.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wayland
Rania has taken care of my cat before so I rebooked her for my new puppy. Not only does she love cats and cares for them like her own but she is UNBELIEVABLY attentive to dogs. My puppy is new and needs tons of support and training and she dove in headfirst with no hesitation and without me even asking. Obviously like I dont expect her to train my dog but the fact that shes so attentive and notices even the slightest changes and moods of your furry friends is a MASSIVE plus. She even took a picture of my cat without my asking to update me in how shes acclimating to the new dog. She spent time with my new puppy and got him getting used to the crate and kept up with all the potty, walk, and crate training I’m doing. She is also super knowledgeable and gives great advice. She cares and is professional about it and realistic about the care she can provide. I enjoy working with her because it’s easy and she handles everything. She is not shy to clean up an accident or two either shes just amazing. Please please book her she is soooo good and she also responds SUPER fast.

So grateful for Caleb’s help with my family’s dog! My Doberman is pretty energetic and strong and Caleb walked and took care of him with no problem at all. He provided consistent updates, and I truly never worried while I was away. He’s great with animals and I would highly recommend him!!

Jae has been walking our English bulldog a 3x a week basis consistently. They have been incredibly good with our dog, dealing with her anxiousness in moving apartments and keeping her routines consistent. Jae has been very communicative and punctual with every walk. We will continue to be using Jae’s services taking care of our dog!
