About: I have been raising dogs with my family since middle school, starting with an Alaskan Malamute puppy that was only 30 days old when we first brought her home. I grew up alongside her and gradually took on full responsibility for her daily care. This experience helped me develop patience, attentiveness, a strong sense of responsibility, and a deep emotional bond with dogs. Now, after more than ten years of experience living with dogs, I treat every dog with the same care and affection as my own. Dogs tend to respond positively to me, and I genuinely enjoy building trust and companionship with them. Caring for dogs is not just something I do—it is something I am truly passionate about and committed to. At the moment, I primarily work remotely, and I spend most of my time with my wife. This allows me to have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I am able to provide pet care services at any time throughout the week, and I approach each task with full energy, attention, and genuine enthusiasm. During walks and outdoor activities, I carefully monitor the surrounding environment, making sure the area is safe and watching for any harmful objects or food that could pose a risk to the pet. I also pay close attention to interactions with unfamiliar dogs and other animals, ensuring that the experience remains positive and stress-free. I carefully observe each pet’s behavior, energy level, and overall condition, including monitoring their bathroom habits as an indicator of their health. I adjust exercise intensity based on the pet’s needs and make sure they cool down properly after more active play or walks. After high-energy activities, I provide water gradually and safely rather than allowing them to drink too quickly. I also provide detailed grooming care, including gentle brushing and checking for ticks or other concerns. If necessary, I will carefully remove ticks and make sure the pet remains comfortable. Beyond basic care, I enjoy spending time with pets through play, affection, and companionship. I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and love that I would give to my own pet.

About: I’m a huge animal lover! I grew up with big dogs and I recently within the last few years adopted cats and fell completely in love. I have a strong connection to animals and good with their boundaries to help them feel comfortable and cared for. I’ve also been pet sitting since I was in high school. I’m a part time artist, (I paint pet portraits!) part time operational manager for another artist business which allows my schedule to be very flexible. I often have availability on a moments notice. I treat my cats like babies so you can expect me to do the same for your animals. If your pet needs me to sing them a little silly song while I make their dinner I will do it. I have a very calming presence animals tend to be drawn to. I respect their boundaries and allow them to feel safe with me before playing

About: I am a responsible and organized college student and Division I athlete. I have always had three dogs of my own and regularly dog-sit for many people throughout the school year and summer. I am dependable, active, and will treat every pet like my own. I am currently working remotely for a company in Boston so I will be in Providence all day and can work my schedule around owners preferences. I have a fenced-in yard, access to open fields for dogs to run and play, and plenty of safe, walkable areas nearby. There are also dog parks close by, and I have a car for reliable transportation.

About: I have had a dog in the house since I was young. Most recently helped train my family German Shepherd puppy from 10 weeks! I also have experience caring for my dog when she went through a major hip replacement surgery, which required much more intensive care over the course of a few months. Do not currently have any pets (my pup is back home), but have helped take care of both dogs and cats. I am staying in the Brown University area over the summer and will be conducting research as a Master's student. My schedule is very flexible as I mostly work on a laptop. However, there will be days I have to work around experiments, so feel free to inquire! I won't be able to host your pet (sadly), but I am more than willing to visit or walk as needed! I always starts with asking: 1. Any essential things about the pet I need to know (medication, allergies, etc.) 2. Any essential things about the house? (places to keep them out of, toys, beds, where they like to hang out) 3. Food, drink, and potty schedule + locations for each. 4. Anything else you want me to be aware of? (No shoes in the house, stay out of certain rooms, don't let mud get tracked around, etc.) 5. In case there's a mess, how should I clean up? (paper towels, pads, trash bags, etc.) I always want to respect both your house and your little friend so please give me as much detail as possible!

I spend a lot of time outdoors, paddleboarding on the Providence River, walking Blackstone Boulevard, exploring the neighborhood, so your dog will be in good hands with someone who genuinely likes being outside. I've walked friends' dogs regularly and know how to read a dog's pace and energy. When I'm not outside I teach piano lessons for families on the East Side. Calm, attentive, and always on time. Available mornings, afternoons, and weekends. East Side only. I know every good route. I'm an early riser and work flexible hours, so mornings and afternoons are wide open most days. Dog walks fit naturally into my routine since I'm already outside exploring the East Side regularly. Weekends work well too. I offer walks only, so I'll be caring for your dog out in the neighborhood rather than at home. I keep dogs leashed at all times, stay attentive to their energy and pace, and always have water available on longer walks. I treat every dog like they belong to someone who trusts me completely, because they do.

About: I am an emergency room nurse and animal caregiver! I have been a nurse for three years and a life long animal lover as well. I have experience raising rats, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I’d love to take care of your fur-babies when you need help while busy at work or trying to fit in a last minute vacation! I work three days a week and overall have pretty open availability to be able to provide high quality pet care while also cleaning up and leaving your place the way you found it before you left! About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. My first job was working as a cat sitter for my neighbor’s young cat, Monkey. I’ve stayed at neighbors houses to watch their dogs since high school, providing regular walks, enrichment, and love. I’ve worked with puppies as young as 10 weeks and dogs as old as 12 years. I’ve worked with pets with special needs and medication needs. Most importantly, I truly love animals. As my sister’s weenie dog puppy can attest, nothing makes me happier than having an animal curled up on my lap. Even if it means dealing with some scratches or disciplining, being around pets is always worth it! As a student, my schedule is super flexible. I’m happy to take care of pets whenever I can. I love early morning walks, so I’m available as early as 7:30 am. My house requires getting up a few flights of stairs, so large senior pups may struggle. Otherwise, any animals are welcome. I’m happy to stay at other folks’ homes as I know this often makes animals more comfortable. I’m flexible to whatever your house rules are!

About: I grew up with animals throughout my life. I started dog walking other families dogs or pet sitting at about 13. I have two cats, and currently walk two dogs a few times a week. I am a nurse and currently in school for my masters. I work nights so I am home daily and love to take care of pets in between class. Trust is a big part of pet care. As someone who has pets trusting someone to walk or pet sit is a big deal. Since I am home all the time your pet will never be alone and always comfortable.
