“Robert is wonderful—such a kind person. We left our dog with him for three days and could not have been happier. Every morning, he sent us a message about how Cookie was doing, along with a video. He took great care of her. Thank you so much, Robert! I trust him completely and will absolutely leave Cookie with him again whenever we need to travel.”

“She took excellent care of our boy and he had a great time playing with the sweet Lucy. Courtney provided us with updates and pictures and was always easy to get a hold of.”

“This is our second time boarding our dog with Ty. It is such a relief and joy to see him go happily with a sitter! I only hope Ty will be available next time we need to board Teddy. She and her family are really the best! Thank you!”

“Matthew was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Teddie! From the start, he was incredibly kind and communicative, which helped us feel at ease. Teddie is an older pup who recently had back surgery, and Matthew was not only understanding of his needs but also made sure he was comfortable and well cared for throughout the stay. It was clear Teddie felt at home with him right away. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful care Matthew provided—thank you for taking such good care of our sweet boy!”
“Great updates every day with pictures. Only thing I can complain about is now we need to get a second dog seeing how much fun Roxy had with Griggs....lol. Will be using Isabel in the future for sure.”

“Sierra was great! My dog Gus came home happy, exercised, and with a well-needed trim :) Sierra made sure to communicate often and sent many photos throughout the weekend. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Karen made our dog feel right at home and has a perfect fenced in yard that is dedicated to the dogs. Her Lab made the perfect companion to keep our excited pup busy and entertained. Karen also sent pictures and was very easy to communicate with, definitely going to be returning next time we need a sitter!”

“Connie was great with Eli and also very communicative with me, sending updates and photos of my big boy throughout the time that she was watching him. She also took the time to take him for a little walk as it was a beautiful day and overall, Eli seemed very content with spending his day with Connie and we’re looking forward to the next time!”

“Lisa was great. Our sweet but nervous pup settled in quickly and seemed to feel comfortable and happy. Lisa was very accommodating to our schedule and attentive to my dogs needs pertaining to her anxiety. We received frequent updates and photos. Her home provided plenty of soft comfy landing spots for your pup and a beautiful fenced yard that my dog loved. She was great with communication and we will definitely use Lisa again”

“Absolutely wonderful with my cat. He normally doesn’t open up to pet sitters right away because of separation anxiety but he opened up quickly with Alyssa. She took great care of my baby boy and kept me constantly updated on him”

“Karen was a great choice when it came to boarding my beloved little friend. It was my first time using Rover or a boarder of any kind and Karen couldn't have made the experience better if they tried. They were very thorough throughout the initial meet and greet, had a great rapport with my dog, and were extremely communicative while I was away both providing updates and pictures everyday. I would definitely recommend Karen for anyone looking for a wonderful and worry free pet sitting experience!”

“What can I say! Chris and Whitney are simply the best :) We left our 4 year old aussielabradoodle with them for a little over a week and they took loving care of Ellie, being patient with her as she learned to navigate steps independently. They sent us pics daily and Ellie always looked totally at home on the couch or in their bed and with other pups. They definitely made our being far away much easier to cope with knowing that Ellie was so well cared for. Highly, highly recommend 🥰”

“Jessica, Abu and Justin are the canine equivalent of the cat’s meow of dog sitters. Jessica is quick to communicate, easy going, and so knowledgeable! The backyard and house are well suited to canine guests. We can’t say enough good things and though our sweet dog is a homebody, we think he’s actually looking forward to his next stay and whatever adventures await him. Abu is one of a kind and a gentle, friendly host. THANK YOU!”

“Carolina was great with Kobe. She made him very comfortable. She was communicated throughout the whole stay. She was awesome in providing updates and pictures. I would definitely be using her service again!”

“Words can’t express how wonderful Liana was while watching my cat, Finnian, while we were away! Each update (and pictures) she provided truly showed how comfortable, safe, and happy my cat was with her. Liana is so kind and easy to communicate with, paid so much attention to what my cat liked (treats, toys, pets, etc). I felt totally at ease while away knowing he was SO well taken care of. I would love to utilize Liana again the next time we go away—she is wonderful!”

“Meira was a wonderful sitter! She sent tons of videos and photos during each visit and was very attentive to my cat’s needs. My cat is usually slow to warm up, but Meira was able to pet her and play with her every time. She’s very professional. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have always lived with and taken care of cats, from kitten to old age. I’ve been trusted by many friends and community members with their pets and as a new member of the Providence area I am excited to continue this legacy. I am patient and caring and know how to build trust with cats to allow them to feel safe with me.

“Sam took excellent care of our two cats, including one with diabetes. They kept in good communication and provided adorable photos. Definitely recommend Sam for your pet sitting needa!”

About: I've been a cat owner for many years and have cared for multiple cats with different personalities and needs. Having owned two cats and currently caring for one, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, respecting boundaries, and providing a calm, comfortable environment. I'm experienced with feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, playtime, and recognizing when a cat needs space or extra attention. I treat every cat as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away!
“Katie did a phenomenal job with my cat Gracie! She was communicative, kind, and attentive to detail - and I had a lot of confidence leaving my cat in her care. I came home to a happy cat and a house just like I left it (emptied trash, fresh sheets, clean dishes) - would happily use her services again!”

“Katarina took great care of our kitties while we went away for the weekend. From our first phone conversation, it was very clear how much she loves animals and it left us feeling reassured that our babies were in capable & loving hands. She sent us pivs of our babies and gave daily updates. Great work by an excellent pet sitter. We would not hesitate to use Katarina again!”

About: I am an ER nurse of 3 years and a cat-mom to a crazy Bengal cat. He is very high energy with a sweet disposition and an adorable personality. I know what it’s like to go out of town and will change litter boxes and perform light house-cleaning to make sure you don’t have bits of litter everywhere when you get home. Life long cat owner ready to provide high quality cat care for working people/vacations/life circumstances.

“We don’t have enough good things to say about Jules! This was our first time booking a cat sitter, and we are very anxious cat parents. Our baby, Macchi, is super cuddly, but normally suspicious of strangers. We asked Jules to stay overnight, just so she would have someone in the house. Within two days, Macchi had decided she had a new best friend. We got 20+ photos each day, updates on her activity (from food to the amount of screaming and bonking she decided was essential on that day), and very thoughtful questions! Jules noticed all the little things Macchi loves and went above and beyond to make her feel safe and happy. Macchi was so enamored that she demanded lap time from Jules on a daily basis. If you’re an anxious cat parent like us, or if you want a sitter who will adore your pets just as much as you do, please do yourself a favor. Book Jules. They went above and beyond in every possible way!! We will absolutely be booking with them for any and all future stays.”

“Dorota and Wayne are the BEST hosts ever!! Ricky loves going to stay with them! They have a HUGE yard where Ricky loves to play. They have wonderful dogs of their own who Ricky loves to play with. They're usually hosting a bunch of other great dogs, so it's always a big doggie party at their place!! They treat Ricky like one of their own, he has the run of their yard, their house, and their bedroom...he feels right at home!! The best part is Dorota sends LOADS of pictures everyday so we can see first hand what a great time Ricky is having when he stays with them!!! They even Facetimed with us!! We highly recommend Dorota!!”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
“Anely takes incredible care of our pup. She is attentive to our dog's needs and wellbeing, communicates consistently (we get updates and pictures throughout the day), and flexible. Every drop-off, our pup is super excited to see Anely!”

“Zachary was great and took Oakley in last-minute after my other sitter cancelled. He was very understanding of Oakley's needs and they seemed to have a great time!”

“Gunther loved hanging out at Courtney’s house with his new friend Lucy! They are great hosts. He came back exhausted and happy- we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and friendly home-away-from-home for their canine companion.”

“Baron had a great day with Isabel and her fiancée! Despite him being a slightly anxious pup at times, he seemed to be at ease, relaxed, and enjoying his time. Isabel was very responsive and took very good care of Baron. I will definitely be booking with Isabel again!”
About: I grew up with animals throughout my life. I started dog walking other families dogs or pet sitting at about 13. I have two cats, and currently walk two dogs a few times a week. I am a nurse and currently in school for my masters. I work nights so I am home daily and love to take care of pets in between class. Trust is a big part of pet care. As someone who has pets trusting someone to walk or pet sit is a big deal. Since I am home all the time your pet will never be alone and always comfortable.
“From the moment I pulled up, I had a great feeling about leaving Caroline with Matthew. He was outside playing with his pup and the strong bond they have was obvious. While watching Caroline, Matthew sent great photos and was very communicative. Would 100% recommend for doggy daycare!”

“Gilbert is the best Rover host I’ve had the pleasure of using to watch Leo. I was provided videos throughout the day and Leo played hard with Gilbert’s dog Moon all day. I couldn’t be happier and I’m going back tomorrow for one more day. Gilbert was also very flexible with my schedule as I hit a snag during my business in Providence.”

“Lisa was so good with our dog, very attentive, and very clearly a pet lover! We also received many cute pictures and updates which we really appreciated. Our dog had a great time with her. Highly recommend!”

“Eliza did a great job taking care of my dog while I was taking a day trip in Providence. Her communication was excellent and I appreciated her flexibility around the dropoff, since I was traveling from out of town. My dog was happy at both the dropoff and pickup - that's what we like to see!”

“Sonia is fantastic! Her regular check-Ins and photo updates are so appreciated. Wonderful, big fenced in yard for pups to play! Her dog Lola is terrific too. Both days we came home with a very tired, happy pup! Definitely recommend!”
“Marcy loves staying with Michelle! She always eagerly runs to the door at dropoff. Michelle is great about sending updates throughout the day as well.”

“Wanny had the best stay at Tatianas! Loved playing with her dog Angie. Wanny was there with them all day - she was a sleepy girl when she got home from all of the fun. Have been looking for a regular sitter for Wanny at Tatiana is definitely it.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m confident in creating a calm, loving environment that fits their needs. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will have plenty of attention throughout the day—and with a beautiful park right next door, daily walks and outdoor time are part of our regular routine. I genuinely treat every pet like my own, giving them the care, affection, and respect they deserve. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I start the day with morning walks (the park next door is perfect for that), and I build in time for play, feeding, potty breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. Evenings usually include a final walk and some wind-down time. Whether it’s a short visit or overnight care, I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention and care woven into my day like they’re part of the family. In my home, I create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly space where your pet can feel comfortable and cared for. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible—walks, feeding times, play, and rest—to help them settle in easily. I live next to a park, so daily walks and outdoor time are a big part of our day. Pets have full access to cozy spaces, and I’m always nearby since I work from home.
About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of dogs my entire life. I am able to provide your pup a safe, comfortable, and happy environment day and night. I am the proud parent of a 3-year old labradoodle named Yoffi and he has a typical feeding, walk, play, and sleep routine. I work from home, so I am able to supervise and maintain a safe and happy home for all pups staying with me and Yoffi. I am also happy to administer any medication and take any special care instructions. I live in a large studio apartment so it is easy for the pups to play and socialize under supervision. In addition, there is a small dog park across the street from me. I treat my pup like family and do the same for any guest pups. My goal is always to provide the happiest, healthiest, and safest environment possible.
“Joseph did a great job with our poodle LOVE ? its her first time with daycare and I found him last minute and he took her into his home with open arms and alot of love. Takes alot of care and attention, he is very trust worthy and communicative about her stay, sends us photos and updates about her throughout the day. “I really appreciated Emily’s last minute responsiveness and willingness to navigate senior dog arthritis stuff, even offering to carry my 50lb dog up and down the stairs if necessary (it wasn’t). Thanks!”

About: Hi! I'm Victor, an East Side Providence local with a pretty simple philosophy: dogs deserve a walk that's actually enjoyable, not just a quick loop around the block. I spend a lot of time outdoors, paddleboarding on the Providence River, walking Blackstone Boulevard, exploring the neighborhood, so your dog will be in good hands with someone who genuinely likes being outside. I've walked friends' dogs regularly and know how to read a dog's pace and energy. When I'm not outside I teach piano lessons for families on the East Side. Calm, attentive, and always on time. Available mornings, afternoons, and weekends. East Side only. I know every good route. I'm an early riser and work flexible hours, so mornings and afternoons are wide open most days. Dog walks fit naturally into my routine since I'm already outside exploring the East Side regularly. Weekends work well too. I offer walks only, so I'll be caring for your dog out in the neighborhood rather than at home. I keep dogs leashed at all times, stay attentive to their energy and pace, and always have water available on longer walks. I treat every dog like they belong to someone who trusts me completely, because they do.
“Katie walked our two dogs three times a day for a week and was fantastic. She was always on time and sent photo updates. We would love to have Katie walk our dogs again - would absolutely recommend her!”

About: I am an emergency room nurse and animal caregiver! I have been a nurse for three years and a life long animal lover as well. I have experience raising rats, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I’d love to take care of your fur-babies when you need help while busy at work or trying to fit in a last minute vacation! I work three days a week and overall have pretty open availability to be able to provide high quality pet care while also cleaning up and leaving your place the way you found it before you left! I am available for dog walking, litter boxes, meal times, quality time, light house-cleaning, and any other pet need related to cats, dogs, or any other kind of furry friends you may need help with while you are away!
“Michelle is amazing! We can enjoy our time away knowing that our dogs are in excellent hands and getting lots of snuggles and love. And her communication and updates are great! 🐶🐾”

About: I've personally owned a dog for 17 years & have cared for other people's pets (including dogs) in their homes for many years, so I'm familiar & skilled in pet care & love providing this service . One of my life routines includes walking for exercise and I would enjoy walking your dog/s with me. I'm currently unemployed and available for this service. I am not available to keep your dog in the place I reside because I am a renter & that service is not permitted on the grounds
“Sam has been great with Winston! He loves getting a visit from Sam and Sam had asked all the right questions in order to best take care of Winston and his needs!”

“Antoinette watched our 5 month old puppy while we went out to a family dinner. She was amazing with our little Mabel, kept in touch and sent pictures. Thank you so much!”

“Bri was fantastic and our dog had a great time on their two outings today. We are so thankful for all of the great photos of their time together and loved coming home to a happy dog!”

“I booked Ellie to walk my two dogs twice a week and so far I'm very happy I found her. She's friendly, communicative, punctual, and very attentive to Oliver and Pippa. I have trust issues when it comes to letting just anyone walk my dogs (one of them is leash reactive towards other dogs and children!) but I don't worry when they're with Ellie. One thing I really loved was that Ellie asked if it was ok to not take pictures during their walks so that she could fully focus on them and not take out her phone — this was music to my ears!! I feel certain my dogs are in good hands with her and I look forward to working with her for the long term.”

About: I grew up with many dogs and cats, and am the go-to petsitter for my friends and family while they are away. I have experiencing petsitting homes with multiple pets with different routines/schedules (and four litter boxes!), as well as administering medication and caring for and walking elderly pets. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and week and am more than happy to workaround your pet care needs! I take your pet’s wellbeing, safety, and comfort very seriously and will care for them as if they were my own. I aim to provide your pet with a sense of routine and familiarity, as well as stimulation and play, while his or her parent is away. I do this by sticking as closely as possible to the rules/guidelines set by you and being attentive to each pet’s unique needs.
About: We both have experience living with animals. Mary grew up and lived on a farm with many cats and dogs, as well as worked in a pet store on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. Nick grew up owning fish, dogs, cats, and a number of hamsters and gerbils. We both love animals and want to make sure they aren't only taken care of, but also happy. We are living on the east side of Providence right now. We can book overnights stays, walks midday, or host for a fun/quiet night. . During those stays we will be able to take care of the animals at all times and accommodate them properly. We both currently work in the city but have flexible times during the day and weekends. We take them on plenty of walks and make sure they get to move throughout the day. Playtime is super important for most animals, not just taking them on a daily walk. We treat out clients animals as if they were our own. Regular/routine feeding times, outdoor activity, and plenty of love and care.
About: I’ve trained three very skittish rescue doggies and purebred pups. I dog sit for friends and family often. I am extremely energetic/Athletic and if your doggie wants to go for a run, I am up for that for sure! Or if they just need some calming snuggle time, I’m your girl! I enjoy getting to know pet’s unique personalities and needs. I grew up around animals my whole life — dogs, house cats, barn cats, and even neighboring farm animals and wildlife. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Recently losing my longtime companions, Niko, a tiny chihuahua/corgie mid x rescue with a huge personality, and Copper, a golden with a goofball heart of gold, reminded me how deeply our pets become family. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while working, traveling, or managing a busy schedule, and I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for them. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, patience, or extra attention, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I’d want for my own. I look forward to meeting new furry friends and helping give pet owners peace of mind. I called my doggies m kiddos and will care for yours as such! My days are free and can’t wait to fill them up with more joy, walks, training, runs and snuggles. Obedience, praise and love are my core. My pets are my world, I care for and treat others pets as my own. I will treat your home as mine as well! I’m responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Can’t wait to meet!

About: I had the enriching experience of living with a curious & stubborn miniature dachshund for 16 years - he was my “little brother”! As I matured I encouraged him to walk and was patient with interpreting his communication & his unique needs as he aged. I have also been able to visit with and care for a playful 3 year old chihuahua when I visit home in NJ. I am currently a graduate student in an occupational therapy doctorate program in Providence, RI. I am on my summer fieldwork which is full time in CT Monday - Thursday. Until August my Fridays are free, and I have minimal homework on weekends now so I am eager to get outside with some amazing dogs! I am not currently offering to bring your dog into my home for care. If I were to care for your dog in your home, I would abide by your ground rules and make sure we are in agreement before continuing.

About: Overview: I have always grown up with animals of all sorts, mainly small dogs, and now live with a cat and tortoise. I have experience with feeding, potty training, sleep training, trick training, caging, walking, bathing and grooming, cleaning up, playing, exercising, and loving each of my beloved pets. Each task is beyond worth it. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to ask! My Fun Pet facts: - I have had a 14 year old Russian tortoise rescue, named crash, for 5 years now! It is named after the fact that he lives in a glass tank and sometimes forgets the glass is a wall. Also I set him free often to wander, and he's an adrenaline junky that loves to try to climb, drop, and crash into various objects and walls! - I raised salt water fish in my childhood home from lion fish to banana eels to pufferfish and idols and tangs! - My biggest dream is to have dog, cats, bunnies, ducks, and horses on my own homestead! pigs, goats, and any other animal would be fun too :) Experience (Personal, Pets, and Personality): Since moving to the city part time, my dogs and I have become very used to handling the hustle and bustle of the streets, especially Central Park. I volunteer at the Broome Animal Shelter to walk their dogs occasionally with friends. As a disabled person myself with pets who have had various issues throughout their and my life with some experience in basic healthcare, and lots of experience in first aid and crisis- any medical procedure needed to be done at home from syringes to needles to gauzes to bandaids, or even just hiding a pill in cheese- I am your guy! As a Filipino, I grew up with a very large family which includes having lots of animals around. But even in my own home, I grew up with a golden retriever, a havanese, and a poodle. Then two Havanese, and their cousin the Italian greyhound and.. another Havanese and... another poodle. I was the kid who memorized every dog breed, and wanted to visit the kennel and beg my parents for another dog. Our house was known as the place to house sit if a loved one was to go on vacation or anything. As an adult, I have lived with a cat each year that I could. Though these pets were pretty small in breed, it's actually my dream to get a dane or a similar sized and mannered big friendly giant. I spent a lot of my time at shelters, in nature camp, and at the nature center when I was a kid keeping all the animals safe. I have been that friend who pets immediately bond with when visiting someone's place for the first time. I was even such a frequent guest at the nature center, I even named one of the corn snakes "Bracelet" since she would hang around my wrist as I went to walk around the Greenberg Nature Center to greet, feed, clean, and care for the other reptiles. I have been an honorary member of the staff since I was 5 years old! I am a full time graduate student now working in Providence for 2 months. Since my work can be flexible and I'm located in the heart of the city, I can be available anytime! I have 5 repeat dog clients right now, and live with a cat and tortoise right now so I'm always surrounded by pets and happy to meet more. I will return to Binghamton August 2, and will be open again for house sitting then. When I am home in New York, I am available full weekends and holidays. I will be curious and courteous about whatever tailored needs your pet has so I can best respect and take care of your pet. For dogs- On walks, I don't just walk alongside a dog but I pay attention to their body, queues, and interests. During house visits, I'd love to keep them engaged by playing with them, keeping them active, and of course letting them rest. I am extremely well organized and I would ensure they get fed and taken out at requested times. For cats- I would make sure that they get what they need and want. From alone time to pets to cuddles to carrying. I would be on time with food, medicine, or any other duties. I would keep a good eye on your cat and ensure they get into minimal trouble, while also letting them roam and explore. For any other animals- I would just be honored to hangout with your pet, as an exotic pet owner myself. I would ensure I am well educated in the handling and care of your animal!

“If i could give more than 5 stars i would. This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous. Sonia was aware of this and did everything she could to put my mind at ease. She sent frequent updates and pictures of him living his best life. When I picked up my dog he was clearly happy and well taken care of. I will absolutely leave my dog with Sonia again.”

“Elba has been nothing but incredible. She has been great at communicating and making sure I know how my dogs are doing. One of my dogs requires a lot of patience after suffering from a traumatic brain injury, Elba has gone above and beyond to meet my dog where she’s at. I’m very grateful and content with the services Elba has provided.”

“I had a wonderful experience boarding my goldendoodle with Shawn! From the very beginning, she was incredibly cooperative and informative, which made me feel comfortable leaving my pup in her care. She took the time to answer all my questions and provided updates while I was away, which I really appreciated. Her huge fenced yard is perfect for dogs to run around and play safely, and I could tell my dog absolutely loved the space. Shawn clearly cares deeply for the pets she looks after, and it shows in the way she manages everything so thoughtfully. I highly recommend Shawn to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Gary was great! I was hesitant at first as I am new to using rover, but after meeting gary, I felt comfortable and at ease leaving Abe with him over the weekend. I could tell that he is very passionate about animals and truly cares about the pets he looks after. He was very responsive and sent updates and photos of Abe throughout our time away. We can tell Abe had a great time and was very comfortable while with Gary. Would definitely contact again as well as recommend for sitting services. He will treat your pet like one of his own! 5 stars. Thank you Gary!!”

“Jay & Faith were wonderful. I was grateful to receive regular updates and photos of my pup throughout her stay, and they made me feel confident that she was safe and loved while I was away.”

“Jessica was amazing! She is responsive, accommodating and honest when I asked about other dogs/children in the house. Jessica was available on short notice over Christmas when I reached out to her last minute because my other coverage fell through. I received photos and videos throughout my dog’s stay and he came home happy and tired. I would book with Jessica again - highly recommended!”

“Had issues with one of my dog’s behavior but Lisa handled the situation perfectly and my parents took him. She was great with my other dog, lot of walks, homemade treats, and she even washed his blankets! Highly recommended!”
