About: I’m a huge animal lover! I grew up with big dogs and I recently within the last few years adopted cats and fell completely in love. About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. I’ve always had pets in my life, and I’ve been caring for them since I was a kid. Growing up, I also helped watch my neighbors’ pets whenever they needed an extra hand. Now, I’m a proud dog mom to Bonnie, a sweet Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix I share with my partner. Because she’s our first dog, we dove deep into research, while at Brown, we studied canine behavior and body language to better understand how dogs communicate and what they need to feel safe and happy. That knowledge has been invaluable in helping us welcome pet guests into our home. When your pets stay with us, they’ll be treated just like Bonnie—with cuddles, love, fun walks, playtime, and plenty of care. My goal is always to make them feel at home, comfortable, and loved. For cats, my home is equipped with window protection so they can’t slip outside (unless they are leash-trained or outdoor cats whose owners prefer outside time). I always respect each owner’s preferences—whether that means leash walks, indoor-only care, or a specific routine. If not in my own house, it's my pleasure to go to the owners house to take care of the cats! I will check the whole house to make sure everything is in order, clean everything, feed, hang out and play with the little ones! I pay attention to each animal’s unique needs. About: Hi there! My name is Shane, and I’m based in Taunton, MA, providing pet care all across Massachusetts and RI. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and even chinchillas. My background includes working as a playgroup supervisor at a doggy daycare outside Boston, as well as my former position at Providence Animal Rescue League as a communications coordinator and pet photographer (which means I’d be happy to capture some great photos of your pets, too!). In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m comfortable and experienced with administering medications — including to cats and dogs with special medical needs. I understand the importance of patience and precision when it comes to keeping pets healthy and happy. At home, I share life with my partner Anna (also an animal lover and caregiver), our diabetic cat Nestor, and our two leopard geckos, Meechee and Verne. I also help care for my family’s dog, Finn, whenever I can. Currently, I work mostly remotely, with occasional in office days. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or pet sitting/boarding, I bring a mix of professional experience, personal passion, and a whole lot of care to every pet I meet. Myself and my partner are a lovely tag team of caregivers when it comes to our cat and leopard geckos! This includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, walks or playtime, administering medication if needed, and of course lots of love and attention. I keep a close eye on their well-being, send updates and photos, and always leave your home just as I found it. When pets stay with me, I provide a safe and cozy environment, enrichment through play, and plenty of supervised attention. About: I've raised multiple dogs in my life, I have experience with training and working with large dogs specifically, I also have experience working with dogs of all sizes. I'm currently available in the Afternoon until 8pm most weekdays for walking. I am also available on the weekends for walking as well until 7pm. Pets can be themselves with me and have a great time doing it. your best friend is my best friend and will be treated with love and respect. About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.
