About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have been caring for dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. Beyond pet sitting, I’ve worked at an SPCA and at a zoo, where I gained hands-on experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals. I also study animals professionally, so understanding animal behavior and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and understood is something I genuinely love. I’m comfortable with animals of all personalities and energy levels, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s individual routine and needs. I’m a graduate student with a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m generally available for dog walks in the mornings and evenings, and I have flexibility during the day depending on my class and research schedule. I’m also available for boarding on weekends. I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care! I live on the top floor of a house with plenty of space for pets to relax and a small yard for some outdoor time. I also have a very friendly cat who loves dogs and other animals, so I’m comfortable caring for pets in a multi-animal home.

I can meet your specific needs for your pet and if for some reason I cannot, I will always let you know. I do have a small 20lb one year old Pug named Benz who is very friendly and neutered. He is always up for an adventure but also per your request can skip it and stay home. I can also accommodate separate boarding areas to provide a comfortable solo space of their own.

About: We love welcoming new friends for visits. We have a fully fenced backyard, plenty of space for playing, swimming in the puppy pool, napping, and cuddling. We’re located in a neighborhood made for long, leisurely walks. I also enjoy taking photos and am happy to send you updates as often (or as little) as you’d like. Schedule a meet-and-greet with us! We can’t wait to meet you! On the days I work from home and on weekends, we would love to have a dog-friend join us for the day, or for an overnight. If we’re somewhat neighbors, I am also available for walks over the weekend and possibly on weeknight(s). I have a fenced-in yard, home security, smoke and CO alarm. I do not crate our dog Lucy, but if you need me to do so for your dog, consider it done! I walk her in her harness around safe neighborhoods like Oak Hill in Pawtucket and on the East Side of Providence. I refrain from dog parks because I feel she is more comfortable with one on one play, but if there is a certain park you'd like me to take your dog to, I'd be happy to.

About: I have assisted my mom’s dog care business for 15+ years taking care of dogs of every kind by walking, in home sitting, playing, feeding, etc I am available everyday most early mornings, middays and evenings for walking and nights especially on the weekends for house sitting. I am an avid hiker (I recently hiked the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu!) and would love your dog to be my buddy on nearby trails—though I love neighborhood walks, too! I grew up with basset hounds and now have 2 poodle mixes (a cockapoo and Australian labradoodle), so I have experience across the spectrum from slow sniffers to speedy sprinters. Because of my medical experience, I feel confident administering medications (including injections) if needed. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs since I was a kid. Mainly molosser breeds. I’m a very active person so high energy dogs are more than welcome. I can assist with teaching basic commands such as sit, stay, lay, leave it, and recall commands. Things you can expect under my care: walks, runs, and training if needed and requested. If given permission, dog parks and occasional trips to the beach depending on the weather and time under my care. I work full time Monday through Friday 5am-3:30pm so I recommend booking for the weekend for long stays. Shorter stays can be made during weekends between 3:30pm-6:30pm (length of care Monday-Friday may be negotiated) Care will be primarily conducted out in town as I do not have a yard. If home pets will be crated with scheduled potty times.

About: I have taken care of my neighbors pets for years and have really enjoyed it. Now that I am moved away from home I want to continue to help pets. I am currently playing jr hockey here in Providence and am looking to take care of pets on the side. I have practice every day from around 11-3 so anything before or after that is perfect for me. I have game throughout the season so my availability will definitely be changing but nothing I will not know in advance I walk, feed, and play with my pets every day and love taking care of them. I worked at a veterinary clinic in high school, where I gained hands-on experience with basic animal care, handling, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention. For the past 8 years, I’ve consistently pet sat for friends, family, and clients, caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs. I’m a PhD student at Brown University- so I teach and take classes, but my schedule is pretty flexible as I’m only on campus during a class or for office hours. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions closely, and I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or health and will communicate promptly if anything seems off. I keep the home tidy, refresh food and water bowls, clean up after walks or litter boxes, and ensure your pet’s environment stays safe and calm. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel at ease, knowing your pet is well cared for in their own space.
