About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. About: I’ve been a dog dad to Nova, my 4.5-year-old Lab, since she was a puppy. I work from home, so I’m with her pretty much 24/7 and have gotten very tuned in to the little cues dogs give when they need something, whether it’s a walk, attention, or just a little space. I also regularly watch dogs for family and friends, so I’m used to handling different personalities, routines, and energy levels. Whether it’s a laid-back senior dog or a high-energy pup, I adjust to what they need to feel comfortable and cared for. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. I treat every dog like I would my own, with patience, attention, and plenty of play if they’re up for it. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in, or just keeping your dog company, I’ve got you covered. I work from home, so I have some flexibility during the day to fit in walks or drop-in visits, especially in the late mornings or early afternoons. While I can’t be available at every hour, I do have enough wiggle room in my schedule to reliably show up when needed and give your pet quality time and attention. Very open and flexible on weekends when I have notice. If your dog has a regular routine or certain times they’re used to, I’ll do my best to work with that. Just give me a heads-up and we can figure out what works. When I’m caring for a dog in someone else’s home, I treat both the pet and the space with the same respect I’d expect if it were my own. I always make sure doors are securely closed, gates are locked, and routines are followed exactly as requested. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and comfort level and never push them into anything they’re not ready for. Whether it’s giving them space to warm up or making sure they get enough play and attention, I adjust based on their personality and needs. Clean-up, basic tidiness, and clear communication are always part of the deal — you’ll come home to a happy dog and everything just as you left it.
