“Grace was wonderful with my dog and my house while we were away for a few days. She was attentive to pet and house needs, communicative, and extremely easy to work with. We will definitely hire her again!”

“Isabel is the best! We felt so confident in Randy’s care while we were away. She was very consistent with sending updates everyday with pictures. Although not her job, we came home and our home was spotless. We appreciate her so much with our anxious baby and she gave updates of how she saw his confidence boost throughout her time with him!”

“Michelle was by FAR the best sitter we’ve ever had. The updates throughout the day made us feel so secure being away and we came home to a very happy pup. 10 stars!!!”

“Sarah was amazing. So intuitive with our nervous dog, who was immediately comfortable with her. Reliable, responsive, kind, caring and very clean. We feel so grateful to have found her! Thank you for taking such good care of our pup.”

“Maya was fantastic with our VERY energetic large puppy and kitties. We appreciated receiving photos, questions and updates along the way. We felt confident our pets and home were in good hands which allowed us to enjoy extended time away. We returned home to a clean house and happy healthy pets! I highly recommend Maya and will certainly rebook in the future.”

“Jayla accommodated our last minute request. Great communication throughout the days we were away and lots of fun pictures for our peace of mind. We will be looking to book with Jayla again in the future!”

“Jonathan took fantastic care of both our dog, Winston, and our house! I would highly recommend him as a pet/house sitter. He took Winston on very long walks, sent daily photos and updates, and kept us informed on Winston's well-being during our absence. We knew Winston was well cared for, and therefore we had no concerns while we were away. Jonathan gave us peace of mind that our "baby" was just fine.”

“Our pups were so calm and happy when we arrived home. Meaghan kept us updated and was kind and clean! We would definitely recommend and hire her again in the future! :)”
“Emily spent the weekend at our house with our dear Franklin. She’s kind, loving, and absolutely professional - she made sure she knew all the ins and outs of Franklin’s routine. He was happy as a clam and tired out from all their long walks! Will definitely be booking Emily again!”

“This is our 2nd time using Sophie for in home dog sitting. Sophie engages, plays and loves Luna while caring for her & also sends updates and pictures often. Our dog is always happy and very well taken care of.”

“Kaitlyn was great with my girls and house! Everything was just the way I left it. 5 nights 6 days. She sent updates and pictures everyday. I have a reactive dog and a 14.5 year old diabetic cat. She loved/s them and kept them happy, safe, and comfortable while I was away. Thank you Kaitlyn!”

“Nicky was so attentive! She covered all of the bases when it came to caring for our two dogs. She communicated with us during our time away and included photos for us to enjoy! In addition she left our home in pristine condition!”

“JL was an absolute dream! My boys -- a cat and a dog -- were so well taken care of, as was my apartment. They adored him. Took the dog on long walks and followed feeding directions to a T. Would indubitably have him pet-sit in the future.”

“We had such a great experience with Sam!! Our 10 year old mic breed Tobin can be quite shy with new people and warmed up with Sam immediately. Sam was incredibly attentive from the start, taking details notes during drop off and really listening to all our instructions around meals and walking routine. Throughout the stay Sam sent regular updates and photos which was so reassuring (especially since this was our first time doing an in home stay with rover). Sam left our home cleaner than when we left it! We couldn’t be happier and will definitely book Sam again. Highly recommend!”

About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. Reactive, old, needy, temperamental I’ve experienced it all. Reach out if you would like to set some time to meet and let me see how I can make your day a little better. As a part timer in nightlife, I work weekends at night. Luckily that frees up my week to be able to walk or sit for you! My superpower is sticking to the dogs routine, to set them up for success. Picky dog? Not a problem! If I do a longer stay; I will be sure to leave your home in better condition than I found it in.

“Bri was an outstanding dog/house sitter! She took wonderful care of our 15 year old yellow lab and we are impressed with her communication and attention to detail. Bri sent daily updates and pictures while we were away and our sweet dog, and home, were both very well cared for. We’ve already booked her again!”
“Highly recommend Latifa, she worked wonders with my two post-op spayed (formerly) stray cats who required some special attention. So glad she was able to accommodate us so last minute!”

About: I have fostered animals (mostly cats) for two years and have cats of my own. I have experience caring for cats and dogs from 10 weeks to seniors. I’m comfortable caring for multiple animals at a time. I have experience in giving dogs and cats medication. I’m familiar with feeding schedules, coordination of care, waste management, and pet enrichment. I grew up with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 hermit crabs, 3 fish, and 1 guinea pig (thankfully not all at the same time!). I also have experience in working with farm animals (horses, chickens, ducks) and rode horses for a few years. I’m currently a full time special education teacher and I’m available in the afternoon/evening and on weekends. After June, my schedule will be more flexible and I will have additional availability during the summer months. I have 3 cats of my own (Boo, Sam, & Taylor) and 1 step-cat, Cleo (she does not live with me). I love working with animals and look forward to caring for yours! I currently work full-time as a teacher and will be more available during the summer starting late June to late August. However, I will be available afternoons and on weekends. My last day of work for teaching is June 23rd. Pet safety is extremely important to me. Since I’ll be caring for animals in your home, I’ll collaborate on any safety concerns on the property or in general. I’m able to easily crate dogs and I always walk dogs on leash. I ensure that all exits and entrances are properly closed so that pets don’t get out. I also don’t allow cats outside. I will also coordinate with you on if there are any local environmental concerns (nearby construction, a door in you home that sticks,
About: Dogs, cats, and additional pet species, oh my! From young creatures to oldsters, I will work to keep your pet(s) healthy and happy with food, exercise, and love/attention. I work freelance, so my schedule tends to be flexible. I imagine doing morning, mid-day walks, or evening dog walks for clients in the neighborhood. I will not be using my own apartment as a dog sitting venue. Instead, I can take your pets out or visit/stay in their usual homes to make sure they are taken well-cared of on a case-by-case basis.
Smith Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jonathan was communicative and proactive over the course of the week we were away. He was very attuned to our dog’s needs, including taking extra time and thought to prepare her special food when her appetite was low. Our house was in great shape when we returned. We are grateful for his care and consideration!
Katie did a phenomenal job with my cat Gracie! She was communicative, kind, and attentive to detail - and I had a lot of confidence leaving my cat in her care. I came home to a happy cat and a house just like I left it (emptied trash, fresh sheets, clean dishes) - would happily use her services again!

Christine was our first ever in-house dog sitter for our two pups and we couldn't have been more pleased. She communicated with us promptly and regularly while we were away, and took great care of our ladies (and house). I would highly recommend her for any of the services she offers.

Lisa was great to work with. One of my dogs is protective of the house/yard and Lisa handled the situation well. Both of my dogs warmed up to her quickly and the updates she provided throughout the stay were comforting. I will definitely contact her again if I need a pet sitter.

Maricela was fantastic! Lucy loved all the attention and I was grateful for the help with not only my baby but my plant babies as well. We left for a weekend trip our house was spotless and our Lucy was happy. Maricela sent photos and updates everyday- since it was a busy weekend it was reassuring to know she was well taken care of. So grateful

Five-star service! Joselyn did a fantastic job house sitting and looking after Chance. Professional, communicative, and great with dogs. Chance clearly enjoyed his time with her, and the house looked great when we got back. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and reliable, look no further.

Bri was SO phenomenal taking care of our dogs for 2 whole weeks. She communicated daily with awesome, honest updates and made us feel completely secure that our dogs were getting excellent care. She is so organized and professional, and our dogs adored her. We would love to have her watch our dogs for any trip!!

Kat is the best! Maxwell loves her, and she is so good with him. She gives you detailed updates every day with lots of good photos. And she leaves our apartment in such good order. This is the second time we have used her for dog sitting and would do so again without hesitation.

We had such a great experience with Sam!! Highly recommend!

LA did such an amazing job with Fletcher. They were consistently communicative and responsive. They sent updates regularly throughout the day and took great care of Fletcher and my place. The fact that he warmed up to them so quickly speaks to how well LA cares for animals and builds trust. It is reassuring to know that my shy and sometimes skittish pup is in such great hands.

Jules is phenomenal and she took such good care of our two girly cats Ruby and Hollow while we traveled!! She catered to each of their needs individually and made sure they both had a great time with love and cuddles and lots of playtime and treats! She sent so many photos to update us and it gave us a real peace of mind that the girl’s were well taken care of!! She even made sure Ruby got her additional food supplements and brushing time everyday! Book book book!! We will be booking with Jules again for all of our travels in the future!

Hannah has been absolutely amazing, truly an angel. She took care of our dog for two weeks and showed incredible commitment and care throughout. Our dog can be challenging, especially due to his anxiety around paw cleaning and eye care, but Hannah handled all of his needs with patience and skill and treated him as if he were her own. She sent daily updates without fail, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. On top of that, she took excellent care of our home and we came back to a house that was even better than we left it. Hannah is exceptional and we would absolutely trust her again. We cannot wait to have her pet sit for us in the future. 🙌🏻
