About: Erin and I both grew up with dogs and love having them around. Between caring for our siblings dogs periodically and being primary care takers of our dogs growing up we feel equipped to provide a safe and caring home. I am a remote worker so I am home throughout the week. Erin is a part time substitute teacher so she is home a few days as well. We would have lots of time to attend to a dog throughout the day and be able to provide lots of 1x1 time, walks, and playtime in the back yard. We have a fenced in back yard and live in a walkable neighborhood. We are currently a pet free house so your dog would be the only one here with us. We would allow access to all furniture except the bedroom door would remain closed. We can also accommodate a crate if needed

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. I am currently working a part time job and I’m about to leave for college and need some extra hours. I don’t mind if it’s miles or just down the street. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was around 12, as well as grew up around dogs. I’ve mostly done drop-ins which I’ll stay anywhere from 10-60 minutes depending on needs. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats throughout that time and many different sizes, breeds, and ages. I am currently between jobs, as I have just moved to Providence from Texas. So I have a lot of free time to spend with your pets and would love to work with you on the perfect schedule. I'm only available for drop-ins and walks currently, which I have much experience in. Safety is of the utmost importance and I will work with you to keep you, your pets, and me feeling safe and happy.

Charlie is a senior dog with separation anxiety so we were very worried about leaving him for so long and finding a sitter who would accommodate his joint problems and medication needs. Lisa was great about his routine and attentive to our requests!”

“Gary was fantastic. I had another sitter back out at the last minute, for the holiday weekend, and right when everyone is all of a sudden traveling again, and I was panicking. I’d also never left our furson with someone I didn’t know before. Gary was super calm, and put me at ease to leave Bosun with him, he was very communicative, and I never had to worry while we were gone, and was able to just enjoy our trip. Bosun, is a sweet boy, but is an intact male, which I know can be a lot to handle if you aren’t firm with him; both Gary and his sweet furson Amigo were patient with him, and able to tire him out enough to behave. I highly recommend Gary, and would have him pup sit anytime we are in the area again.”
