About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. My parents have had dogs all of their life and growing up I was taught how to take care of them on my own. I will make sure your pup feels safe, and loved while you are away. I work fully remote Monday- Friday and work a side job on Monday night and Wednesday night. I can work from your house and take care of the pets as long as there is WiFi! I currently live in an apartment with my partner with our dog and cat. I usually will walk our dog around the block. He is a little shy with other dogs so I would just come over to your house and walk your dog then!

About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.

“tl;dr: Julia is the GREATEST. She was super communicative and my cat loved her + very much appreciated the care he needed post-dental procedure! Our sweet kitty, Leo, had a dental issue that meant that he had to get some teeth extracted and I got pulled on a work trip the day of the procedure so we needed someone to hang out with our little guy for a couple days. Julia swooped in and hung out with Leo while he was recovering. She clearly is experienced with giving meds to cats and reading kitty behavior. Would 100000% work with Julia again.”

Samantha was attentive, communicative, respectful, patient and friendly. She took care of our 3 dogs who all have very different needs overnight for a week. Without a doubt, the best pet (and house) sitting experience we have ever had. Xinwei D. (who goes by Garrett) took extra special care of our aging dog, Bernie, while also leaving our home in better condition than we left it. He followed directions to a T, kept in constant communication and sent pictures and updated every day. He will be out first choice in sitters every time. Honestly, we couldn't have taken better care of Bernie ourselves, and being gone for a week knowing someone competent and compassionate was back at home taking care of everything gave us unmatched peace of mind. Maryann was such a lifesaver for us! We had a special event to go to out of town, but by golly there are Rover sitters everywhere, including Providence, RI. Maryann hung out with our little Bonny (a 5-lb. snuggly little chihuahua) in our hotel room, and was a calm, warm presence. Very professional in wanting to know about Bonny, what she liked/didn't like, special instructions, etc. She came highly recommended and we now happily join that chorus of satisfied customers. Hannah was wonderful! She came for a meet and greet to meet our dogs in advance and then sent pictures and took great care of our pups while we were out of town. We have a rescue who is anxious and takes medication, and Hannah handled her needs patiently. We will definitely have Hannah come back!
