About: I have fostered animals (mostly cats) for two years and have cats of my own. I have experience caring for cats and dogs from 10 weeks to seniors. I’m comfortable caring for multiple animals at a time. I have experience in giving dogs and cats medication. I’m familiar with feeding schedules, coordination of care, waste management, and pet enrichment. I grew up with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 hermit crabs, 3 fish, and 1 guinea pig (thankfully not all at the same time!). I also have experience in working with farm animals (horses, chickens, ducks) and rode horses for a few years. I’m currently a full time special education teacher and I’m available in the afternoon/evening and on weekends. After June, my schedule will be more flexible and I will have additional availability during the summer months. I have 3 cats of my own (Boo, Sam, & Taylor) and 1 step-cat, Cleo (she does not live with me). I love working with animals and look forward to caring for yours! I currently work full-time as a teacher and will be more available during the summer starting late June to late August. However, I will be available afternoons and on weekends. Pet safety is extremely important to me. Since I’ll be caring for animals in your home, I’ll collaborate on any safety concerns on the property or in general. I’m able to easily crate dogs and I always walk dogs on leash. I ensure that all exits and entrances are properly closed so that pets don’t get out. I also don’t allow cats outside. I will also coordinate with you on if there are any local environmental concerns (nearby construction, a door in you home that sticks,
“Our pups were so calm and happy when we arrived home. Meaghan kept us updated and was kind and clean! We would definitely recommend and hire her again in the future! :)”
“Sarah was amazing. So intuitive with our nervous dog, who was immediately comfortable with her. Reliable, responsive, kind, caring and very clean. We feel so grateful to have found her! Thank you for taking such good care of our pup.”

“Jonathan took fantastic care of both our dog, Winston, and our house! I would highly recommend him as a pet/house sitter. He took Winston on very long walks, sent daily photos and updates, and kept us informed on Winston's well-being during our absence. We knew Winston was well cared for, and therefore we had no concerns while we were away. Jonathan gave us peace of mind that our "baby" was just fine.”

“Sophie house sat for our almost 2 year old pup Leo for the weekend and she was wonderful! Sophie is especially communicative and provided such peace of mind while we were away from home. Even when challenged by Leo with a sleepless night, Sophie was understanding of the adjustment for Leo and maintained a great attitude. We would use Sophie again without hesitation and look forward to relying upon her services in the future!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of different ages and all different types. I always meet them where they are at and work with their needs to the best of my ability. My schedule is pretty wide open at the moment so I'm able to do some house sitting/pet sitting as well as walks. Just let me know what your animal's needs are and I'm sure I can accommodate. I am happy to meet any expectations of the owner and adjusting my care based on the uniqueness of the animal I'm caring for. Whatever their normal routine is, I'm happy to maintain that and anything else needed.
“Carissa was awesome during a 3 day house sit! she was so patient with our little guys and they love her!! She sent tons of pics/videos and updates and was really communicative with us. She was also really flexible when we let her know beforehand that one of our doggies had just started limping right before we left. It was an extra cute/sweet touch that she left a little drawing of the doggies. Highly recommend!!”

“Grace is lovely. She spent approximately 10 days at our home house sitting for our 2 senior Yorkies. She followed their care plan and kept in touch with us daily. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Thanks Grace!”

About: I’m a travel nurse without any animals who wants to love on yours! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 3 years old, up to 3 dogs at a time. I trained my puppy while I was in high school and have loved on dogs through their old age as well. I worked at a doggy daycare for a few summers while I was in college. I work 10 hours shift during the week, however I am free in the evenings after 6pm and have one free day during the week. I am always available on the weekends. I understand that all dogs have their own routine, needs & quirks! I am very thorough with the care I provide and will love them like my own! I have experience in dogs with medical needs such as giving them oral meds & injections as well as post-op recovery care.
“Maya was so enthusiastic and treated our Tucker with loving care. Her communication was excellent and she was very punctual. Would recommend her to others and would utilize her services again for sure. She did a fantastic job.”

About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. Reactive, old, needy, temperamental I’ve experienced it all. Reach out if you would like to set some time to meet and let me see how I can make your day a little better. As a part timer in nightlife, I work weekends at night. Luckily that frees up my week to be able to walk or sit for you! My superpower is sticking to the dogs routine, to set them up for success. Picky dog? Not a problem! If I do a longer stay; I will be sure to leave your home in better condition than I found it in.
“JL saved the day when our dog sitter cancelled the day before our trip. He was so quick to respond and made himself available to watch our pup. His updates throughout the week made me feel confident our dog was very well taken care of.”

“Joselyn was wonderful and I would absolutely book with her again. She communicated well, sent pictures throughout the time I was away and left my house spotless. I highly recommend booking with Joselyn to watch your pups!!”

About: I've taken care of my own 2 dogs along with helping out family/friends/neighbors for about 10 years. I've trained both of my current dogs, and I offer walking, overnight sitting, and drop-ins during the day. I'm a college student-athlete local to the Providence area, and I'm looking for a way to spend some time with dogs while I'm away from home! I'm currently working part time, and would be available in early mornings, and afternoons/evenings during the week. I am also available for any service on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. They are both very friendly and social and would love to have a friend around.
“Kaitlyn is super communicative, thinks about how to make the experience the best it possibly can be for your pet, and sends tons of photos and updates to make sure you know your pet is in the best hands possible and is happy and taken care of! It’s obvious Kaitlyn enjoys caring for pets and that this means more to her than just a job!”

“Highly recommend Latifa, she worked wonders with my two post-op spayed (formerly) stray cats who required some special attention. So glad she was able to accommodate us so last minute!”

“I felt very relieved knowing I could trust Savannah with my cats. She did a great job taking care of them. I received pictures and updates daily. I would recommend Savannah to anyone who has special fur babies. The next time I plan a vacation, Savannah will be one of the first people I'll call.”

About: Dogs, cats, and additional pet species, oh my! From young creatures to oldsters, I will work to keep your pet(s) healthy and happy with food, exercise, and love/attention. I work freelance, so my schedule tends to be flexible. I imagine doing morning, mid-day walks, or evening dog walks for clients in the neighborhood. I will not be using my own apartment as a dog sitting venue. Instead, I can take your pets out or visit/stay in their usual homes to make sure they are taken well-cared of on a case-by-case basis.
Silverlake pet parents share their Rover experiences
Desirae was a joy to work with! She was communicative, prompt, and enthusiastic. She shared plenty of photos and updates of the dogs while we were away and the house was exactly as we left it when we returned. Most importantly, the dogs were well looked after and happy. I would definitely work with Desirae again!

What can I say. My wife & I trusted Katherine with our home and our beloved wiener dog Wilson for 15 days while we traveled. She contacted us daily with pictures and updates, took great care of both Wilson and our home. She provided excellent care for our dog, she even took him to get his nails trimmed because we forgot before we left. She’s a wonderful woman with great knowledge of her profession. We have all ready rebooked her for another trip later this year! Katherine will provide you with what you really need while you are away, Peace of mind. I’ve never been more comfortable with anyone taking care of our home and pet the I was with Katherine.

JL was absolutely wonderful! We recently used him for dog sitting, and he made the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. His communication was fantastic, and we really appreciated the daily updates and pictures while we were away. JL took great care of our dogs! Knowing they were in such good hands allowed us to truly unwind and enjoy our vacation without worrying. We would definitely recommend JL and would happily book with him again!

Sophie was once again an amazing sitter for Pumpkin! She is very responsive and sends us pictures and updates throughout the week which we always appreciate. She seems to understand Pumpkin and his personality very well and we always come home to a well taken care of and happy dog!

Jonathan was communicative and proactive over the course of the week we were away. He was very attuned to our dog’s needs, including taking extra time and thought to prepare her special food when her appetite was low. Our house was in great shape when we returned. We are grateful for his care and consideration!
Christine was our first ever in-house dog sitter for our two pups and we couldn't have been more pleased. She communicated with us promptly and regularly while we were away, and took great care of our ladies (and house). I would highly recommend her for any of the services she offers.

Five-star service! Joselyn did a fantastic job house sitting and looking after Chance. Professional, communicative, and great with dogs. Chance clearly enjoyed his time with her, and the house looked great when we got back. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and reliable, look no further.

Courtney is everything we want in a pet sitter—reliable, considerate, intuitive, and communicative—and our pup truly enjoyed her company while we were away. We not only came back to a happy dog, but also a clean house that was better than we left it. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup and home, and putting our minds at ease while we were away.

Raina was AMAZING! 🤩 She cared so well for our 2 dogs. One small, one large. Also our home she took great care of! We will absolutely have her back! We would recommend her to everyone! 9 days she stayed & we did not have one issue or worry! She followed every rule we had & went above and beyond! Love her!
Savannah is amazing & I can’t recommend her enough! She house sat for a week with my two dogs & two cats and took such great care of everyone & everything.
